The hotel is in walking range of everything interesting. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome, especially the Eggs Benedict that everybody takes photos of, and for good reason. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Since our return flight was at midnight, they kindly stored our luggage after checkout and even arranged access to the pool shower so we could freshen up after spending the afternoon and evening enjoying the city. What we missed was storage space for our citybreak luggage, we had to keep everything in the two cabin trolleys because there were no shelves to put anything on. The nightstand drawers were used for socks and underwear. The furniture in the room is nice looking, but totally lacks functionality. We had to remove the bathrobes and place them on a chair so we could use the only two coat hangers. So bring your own coathangers, or even better an IKEA Purrpingla!

We had a wonderful stay at La Falconeria. The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough to help you. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a two minute walk from the main street but is so quiet and peaceful on a night. There is a great choice of hot food at breakfast and it is all cooked freshly for your order. It is the perfect place to stay in Valletta.

The hotel was in the perfect location as everything was walkable from there. The staff were exceptional, as they were kind, friendly, and informative. Breakfast had a good combination of made to order as well as standard fare. Facility was exceptionally clean and cared for. We had a room with a balcony with a view. Rooms are small but functional. The only negative was the mattress was terrible, felt every spring! |Would stay again

Ok. I've read the 5* reviews and I'm not swayed. The hotel, if it really is , it's location is close to the main streets of Valletta,  but to get there is up a steep hill, not great for anyone with mobility issues.|The hotel is clean, tidy and lacking any personality, the staff are polite,  but as far as I could tell very few from Malta. Most if not all the staff are either from Nepal, or the Asian Sub continent.|The room's are similar to any Travel lodge type, basic, and that's it. Multiple choice of TV stations, only one in English, BBC News.|Breakfast is based on eggs, a basic menu, but they offer other dishes at a cost, something I've never come across before in the 100's of hotels I've stayed at .|The staff could be more attentive and check if you require a coffee refill, something  they don't do on a regular basis. The food is generally not at the top quality. Bacon thin streaky, sausage could do with a bit more cooking, hash brown is tiny and obviously  mass produced, egg ok, baked beans average, mushrooms well overcooked. Would be nice if they had condiments on the table.  They do have fruit juice,  its a combination of several fruits, but you can ask for orange juice on request.Toast is average, but the butter is not kept cool so it ends up a liquid, not good. The website and  some reviews  suggest there is a restaurant and bar within the hotel. There isn't, after breakfast  the only staff you will come across are the housekeeping staff.  The restaurant closed about three years ago.|Breakfast on Monday morning was a complete fiasco,  people waiting to be seated,  no coffee cups, sheer incompetence and lack of management, yes I did see the manager hide away.  My breakfast order was 'forgotten ' . They burnt it and are having to remake it.  Bring out Manuel and Basil, they even have the gaul to use napkins from the closed restaurant.  Not impressed,  a complete fiasco.|Facilities in the room, fairly limited supply of tea and coffee, soft drink and beer in the fridge. |Overall it's a boutique hotel, overpriced,  but in a convenient location if you are fit and healthy. |Overall,  ok, but would I stay here again? Possibly not, don't base your choice on the previous  reviews on here, the manager will copy and paste the standard reply.|A bit disappointed  to be honest.||Oh yes the panoramic views over the city! Only a small number of rooms at the top of the hotel at the front will have that view.

Some hotels deserve 6 stars and this is definitely one of them! Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Special mention must go to Daniel the manager, who on our arrival gave us wonderful tips for restaurants, places to see & how to get there, all of which proved to be amazing! We stayed in room 501 which was ready before check in, spotless and spacious with an amazing view & wonderful terrace. The breakfast choice was plentiful, with a cold buffet plus a hot choice cooked to order, all of excellent quality and quantity served by cheerful & friendly staff! Special mention to Winnie whose smile lit up the room! The housekeeping staff kept the room and the entire hotel wonderfully clean & tidy, discretely & quietly but always with a cheery hello!|The location was quiet and peaceful but only 2 minutes from the buzzing centre of Valletta. Absolutely no faults, can not praise it enough & would highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel! Plotting our return already! Thank you Daniel & the whole team!

Great hotel in a good spot to get around Valletta. All of the hotel staff were helpful polite and helpful. Room we had had everything we needed and was modern in design. Breakfast was good quality and a good choice of food prepared by the chef all freshly made. Next time back in Malta would definitely book here.

Excellent location! Very easy to walk to the main bus station and a short walk to the main streets. The room was very clean and modern. Great options of breakfast, self-service and you can order from the menu too. There is a lounge at the ground floor with TV, coffee, tea and cold water. We used this lounge to relax and we filled our water bottle with cold water before we went out every day. There is a small swimming pool and Gym at the basement. Although it was very small swimming pool I really enjoyed swimming in the evening. The staff were very friendly and thoughtful. We had to checkout the hotel very early morning to the airport so the receptionist arranged for packed breakfast to take with us when we left. Highly recommend!

La Falconeria is a fantastic find! Located on a small, side street - but walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and sights to see! Quiet - the French consulate is across the street. Staff is absolutely Amazing!! So friendly and helpful! Always ready to assist - where to go, places to eat, etc.|Rooms are adequate size - but clean - quiet! It is an old building but very well re-done - and so convenient! If you can, opt for room with terrace, especially in good weather - as these provide nice place to relax at end of day - and good views of the lights in historic district. Breakfast is quite good with MANY choices!|We were fortunate to spend 4 nights here - and were very impressed!|HIGHLY recommend La Falconeria!!
