The service here was first rate. I came by myself and I'm pretty sure every one of the staff stopped by to either chat, take my order, refill drinks, or ask how I was doing. The staff really seemed to enjoy their work and worked together smoothly. The salmon confit was a delight to the palate, a wonderful mixture of tangy, smoky, salty and sweet, and the pesto pasta was perfectly al dente and freshly made. I enjoyed some prosecco and house rose and had tiramisu for dessert followed by a complimentary limoncello. Daniel, one of the owners stopped by and chatted with me some, as did the manager Ilaria. She mentioned what the name, La Fata Ignorante, meant and showed me the painting of the Ignorant Fairy by the end of the bar for which the restaurant was named. I felt extremely welcome and glad I went there for my final dinner in Rome. Highly recommend!
