After a long flight from the US and arriving in Rome early in the morning, we were exhausted. With heavy rain pouring outside, we didn’t want to venture far from our hotel so we decided to try the rooftop restaurant, La Fata Ignorante, at the iQ Hotel. It turned out to be the perfect choice.
The rooftop setting is cozy, warm, and inviting, exactly what we needed after a long travel day. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, attentive without being intrusive, and really added to the experience.
The food was a standout. The pasta carbonara was absolutely amazing rich, creamy, perfectly cooked, and easily one of the best versions we’ve had. And the tiramisu deserves a special mention: it was hands down the best we had in all of Italy during our trip.
Prices were very reasonable, especially considering it’s a hotel restaurant with such a nice atmosphere and high-quality dishes.
Overall, La Fata Ignorante exceeded our expectations and offered the perfect first meal in Rome. We highly recommend it, whether you're staying at iQ Hotel or simply looking for a great, relaxed dining experience.
