Yelp
We loved our brunch here! Great local spot, right in the main part of town, yet off of the main road.
They had English menus, and the staff spoke limited English, but we were able to communicate fine.
THE SERVICE: Very patient, no rush. We just sat and ended up making friends with another couple seated next to us for almost 3 hours. While that couple was also American, the rest of customers seemed local or at least French.
THE WAIT: None at 10am on a rainy Saturday. The outdoor seating was pretty full when we got there, while indoors it was empty. By the time we left around 1pm (the rain had come down much harder), the indoor seating was packed.
THE COST: 44,90€ for brunch for two, plus several coffees. Very affordable!
THE FOOD:
* Cappuccino - 4 stars
Lovely, thick froth, served in a small bowl the way it's meant to be drunk!
* Omelette - 4.5 stars
Nice and fluffy, and love the thin strips of bacon, a little on the soft side but that's exactly how I like my bacon!
THE FOLLOWING IS ALL PART OF THE 25€ BRUNCH:
* Breads, jams, honey, caramel - 4 stars
Pretty good mix of breads, some a little stale, but the homemade jams (strawberry, raspberry, fig, orange, cherry) are fantastic, all have chunks of fruit.
* Yogurt, fruit - 4 stars
Yogurt was super smooth. Fruits not really fresh or ripe, possibly canned, but worked with the yogurt. Just wish yogurt came in larger container so I could mix in fruit and honey more easily.
* Risotto - 2 stars
Undercooked, under-flavored, and didn't come out warm.
* Smoked salmon - 4.5 stars
Very soft and tasty!
* Quiche - 3 stars
Ok, nothing amazing.
* Salad - 3.5 stars
Fine, nothing amazing. Greens lacked crisp, dressing a bit bland.
* Cheeses, meats - 4.5 stars
Simple soft cheeses, great. Salted meats were fantastic.
