La Ferme de Georges

Google, this is NOT a two star hotel! How about five! We absolutely loved our stay at La Ferme de Georges. Rooms are spacious and comfortable — the king bed is a dream come true for a weary traveler! For napping, the hammocks on the porch are as comfortable as can be. The food at the restaurant is delicious, especially the crepes at breakfast and the vegan dinner option. Staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating. Don't be surprised if you see a Brazilian celebrity at this luxury resort .... ;)

Our stay at La Ferme de Georges was nothing short of exceptional! From the first moment we entered this gorgeous hotel, we were welcomed with cloths to wash our faces with and cool, delicious juice. The hospitality was excellent, and all the staff went out of their way to be accommodating and friendly to us. Our room was a lovely, well-styled chalet built in a way that tastefully reflected the local culture and environment. We were very comfortable and found the space to be very restful and relaxing, with even a hammock and an outdoor couch on the porch. The rooms are spaced-out in a way where they also feel very private.||We greatly enjoyed the breakfast and looked forward to it every morning. You can order from a set menu and the food is made fresh. The restaurant, for dinner, was also a highlight, with local foods given a modern take. La Ferme also has a garden, and the herbs grown there were incorporated into the dishes of the restaurant. We were delighted to discover that La Ferme has a beach house as well, where we were greeted with fresh coconut juice upon arrival and provided with beach towels. The host of the beach house gave us recommendations for the best fish restaurant on the beach and received us very warmly.||It was very easy for us to coordinate tours into the park, as our tour guide picked us up right from the door of La Ferme each morning and dropped us off again at the end of the tour. When we weren’t out on the dunes of Lençois, we walked the short 10 minutes to the beach front, or lounged in the pool area of La Ferme.||La Ferme de Georges is a luxury hotel adapted to the style and regional culture of Maranhão. The whole stay was very pleasant and relaxing, and I would highly encourage anyone looking to have a beautiful, restful, comfortable stay in Atins to consider a stay at La Ferme de Georges!

My stay was absolutely fantastic. We stayed four nights and spent two days visiting the beautiful national park and two days relaxing at the hotel which is truly a relaxing oasis. Every detail from hospitality to decorations were so lovely it wad hard to say goodbye.||The customer service was exceptional since the moment we arrived. We were greeted with water, a towelette, and given a bilingual orientation about La Ferme. I went several times to the reception (available from morning until late at night) and they helped me with directions to the beach (just a short walk) and how to take the ferry boat to return to Barreirinhas. We also left early in the morning and the cooks prepared a breakfast for us to go. I would give 5 stars just to the employees themselves! Muito obrigada.||The food is also delicious starting with the included breakfast buffet each morning. For dinner the ravioli and moqueca were incredible. If you arranged a jeep tour or the ferry boat, they'll pick you right up from the hotel.||I hope to be back soon, my trip would not have been the same without La Ferme. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely LOVED staying here, it was a dream! The hotel and accommodations were wonderful, the location was stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff were so kind and helpful! I can’t wait to return, and can’t imagine having stayed anywhere else. Just being at this hotel was a vacation in and of itself, the hotel was so comfortable, luxurious, and beautiful. Plus, we were walking distance from the beach and it was super convenient to go from the hotel to Lençóis Maranhenses! Highly recommend checking out the restaurant if you stay here, I’m still thinking about the breakfast and one of the chocolate desserts!

I can’t rave enough about my experience here! The hotel itself is a paradise - so gorgeous, comfortable, and peaceful. The accommodations were fantastic, the food was delicious (couldn’t resist eating here every day - some of my favorite bites in Brazil), the location was stunning, and the staff were so kind and helpful! Walking distance from the beach and super convenient for travel to and from Lençóis Maranhenses. I wish I was still there and can’t wait to return. Staying here was a dream come true!

Wow, wow, wow! La Ferme de Georges was the perfect luxury getaway! Located just a few minutes walk from the restaurants and shops in Atins, Georges, it is the perfect balance of secluded and convenient. Rooms are spacious and the king beds are deliciously comfortable. Hammocks are too! The pool is a lovely place to unwind after an excursion to the dunes, and food at the restaurant is delicious and nutritious. My favorite was the vegan option and I'm not even vegan! Pancakes and crepes in the morning are also a special treat. Thank you to the whole staff at La Ferme for a wonderful stay! It's one I'll never forget, and I hope to be back soon!!!

We had 5 amazing nights at La Ferme de Georges in the beautiful village of Atins. |Lovely accommodation and beautiful grounds. The chalets were spaced apart to give privacy and a sense of openness. |Breakfast was well prepared and a great variety. The service incredible. It has a large pool that is so welcome in the Marahnao climate. |It’s a little walk to the beach and restaurants. However there are quadricycle taxis to ease the walk in the sandy streets. |Communication with the hotel before and throughout the stay was excellent. |Definitely one of the best places in Atins.

Amazing place if you are looking for a spectacular hotel who preserved Atins spirits (nature, wildlife, food etc...) The lodges are really well decorated with a huge level of comfort in the middle of a natural show. But don't expect a jaccuzzi in your lodge, this is not the spirit of the place. The breaksfast is remarkable, and the food at the restaurant is amazing, certainly the best food in town. They use local product and their own garden for most of the vegetables. If you want to be quiet Atins is much better in the low season. As every paradise on earth the high season is now really crowded and the experience is far less immersive.
