Amazing little jewel in the town. Nice story and very well preserved. No charge, no organisation, just a place to wander and wonder. Access is difficult to impossible in a wheelchair. That's a shame but since nobody is making money from the site, it's unlikely to change. Well worth a visit if you're able to walk the distance. The colours in/of the water is something to enjoy.

We were traveling with a large group of cyclists and booked the entire place on a fixed rate per person basis for dinner, bed and breakfast. Joanna and Anja made us feel very welcome. The dinner was akin to that given to family members returning after years away. The food was plentiful and delicious. The rooms are quirky as befits such a special establishment. Breakfast was equally good, I enjoyed sampling one of Joanna’s many tea selection. Finally, in the morning, Joanna gave us a personal tour of the fosse. Overall, a fantastic excellent. Thank you ladies!

Beautifully decorated rooms with high ceilings in an old farm house. Hostess very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Delicious meal at the end of a 4 days of cycling. Perfectly situated across from the fosse Dionne and close to the town center and station.

We were surprised to find that this old farmhouse is in a town surrounded by houses. Whilst the publicity says there is free parking it is not stated that this is in a public parking space. The glass door on the street has a piece of paper stuck to it instructing people to go to the side- we finally realised that the entry is through a gate. This was in no way what we expected and we did not feel it was safe leave a loaded car in an area strewn with rubbish. I saw the room allocated to us which was clean and well appointed, however the environment was so unlike the description that we decided we could not stay. The place has changed hands and it could be that it will improve but we felt foolish to have been guided by the reviews.

Deep underwater cave, very clean and see-through water, but to be honest nothing special above that. Stop if it's on the way, but not worth a direct visit

Had a great one night stay, room was generous and warm, well appointed with ensuite bathroom. Hosts were lovely and patient (as my partner and I both speak English). Great location next to the spring.

Amazing hosts. Amazing little place. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I can't even begin to describe how lovely, generous and heartwarming the owners of this place are. Recommend to ALL if you're visiting Tonnerre. I would come back to this place again and again!

A very interesting natural spring to visit with a lot of history, and a beautiful church at the top of the hill with great views of the surrounding area.
