We were very lucky to stumble over this little gem. We didn't know what to expect and it was a very nice surprise. Eliane is a great host. Room was extremely clean and the bed and pillows are great. The breakfast was awesome, with home made cheese and jams, fresh bread and fresh milk. The farm is located within walking distance from the castle and you can make day trips to Lausanne or Geneva. The wifi worked great. We hope to ba back one day.

This bed and breakfast was everything we had hoped for and could not have been happier with our stay. The room was very nice with a private bathroom. The location is perfect - a short 5 minute walk and you are in the old town and castle. It is a short drive to neighboring villages. It is so peaceful and scenic. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed all of the homemade items. We even bought 2 kg of their homemade cheese to take home with us because it was so good. We would stay again - and hope to one day!

Where to start --- it was all amazing.||||Eliane is the most wonderful and accommodating host you will ever meet. We arrived around noon on day of check in --- she suggested we leave our luggage- backpacks and tour around town and return around 4PM. We had walked up to the farm from the train station so were glad to have a spot to drop our goods. Upon return, we were asked to remove our footwear at bottom of steps going up to rooms to keep thing cleaner. Wow, you will never stay in a cleaner home --- this was spotless and not a thing to complain about. So lovely decorated and comfortable with everything from a little writing desk and pen in the room to wonderful duvets and a gorgeous bathroom.||||Breakfast was sufficient with great coffee, breads, delicious homemade butter and preserves. Lots of juice and yogurt too. One morning we were leaving early to go to a festival in Charmey --- Eliane set out juice and fresh fruit for us to grab in the kitchen before we hiked over to the bus stop. She really is lovely and very friendly and accommodating. On the final day, our niece was heading off in a different direction that us --- Eliane allowed her to stay a bit longer and assisted her in finding the best train connections to Venice. How wonderful to have someone assist with little things.||||The location is fabulous --- not too far from the train and just a stroll(uphill) to the wonderful village. You have got to visit Gruyures. It is the most lovely little story book town I have seen. Truly magical. I would love to stay at this B&B during the winter --- perhaps around Christmas --- this village must be a sight with choirs and lights.||||Also, great castle and fondues in the restaurant near the castle.||||Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I took my wife and daughter to Gruyeres for a weekend away. We stayed in La Ferme du Bourgoz and would highly recommend it. The farm owner is very friendly and welcoming. The room we had was large (we booked the largest room), it was very clean and had a view on the farm. Breakfast was waiting for us around 8am every morning, and it included fresh bread, and home made products from the farm (cheese, butter, fresh milk). It was great. The farm is well located: Gruyeres is short walk away, up the hill; Pringy is also close, just down the hill.||||I've read some reviewers complain that there wasn't a tv in the room, or that the rooms weren't entirely soundproof. Something to keep in mind is that you are staying on farm. If it's a hotel you're looking for, then this place might not be for you. If you're looking for a charming weekend getaway and a real Gruyere experience, then consider La Ferme du Bourgoz. I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for 2 nights & were extremely happy with the accommodation. The location was beautiful just a 10 minute walk uphill to the old village of Gruyeres, surrounded by the hardworking cows with their bells jangling round their necks. Eliane was a lovely host & our Gruyeres breakfast was fantastic.

My husband and I stayed at La Ferme du Bourgoz for 2 nights at the beginning of our vacation. Eliane was very welcoming and provided numerous ideas for activities near or around Gruyeres. She helped us choose a great hiking location as well as served delicious breakfasts complete with her homemade cheese and fruit preserves. Breakfast was truly a "Tower of Babel" experience with guests from around the world attempting to communicate! It helped set the stage for a great vacation!

We enjoyed a lot staying in the farm for 4 days. The room was clean and cosy, the breakfast abundant and high quality and the host very nice. She had some kind attentions to entertain our 2 year old child.
