What Angélique and Wim promise on their website becomes reality from the first moment you arrive till your departure (with a perfectly composed bill!).||The mansion looks great, is near the center of Bouillon and the château, the rooms are spatious and furnished with a lot of care and respect for the history! Room maintenance is perfect (thank you Brigitte) and done with pleasure.||And then...the 'cuisine'! Wim makes sure your every need is taken care of. With a lot of local produce he lives up to his reputation as 'master chef' and every plate is both gorgeous and great to look at...||Short, we had chosen for the 'escapade gourmande 3 nuits' and we enjoyed every minute! Recommendable!

Good family run hotel just outside of the small centre of Bouillon.|The main building is a charming villa, where the restaurant and the reception is. There are also some rooms upstairs (no elevator).|Apart from the villa, there is a second building on the hotel site, with new and modern (duplex) rooms with terrace, and a great wellness area (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi).|We stayed in a duplex room, which was very large, and tastefully decorated with wooden elements. Great bathroom (bath and shower).|Good restaurant, but very slow service on Saturday evening.|Nice view on the castle of Bouillon from the restaurant terrace.|The breakfast is very good, not the standard ‘dime in a dozen’ buffet, but a varied choice, and fresh homemade products.|There is a large parking on site.||

A little up the hillside is the cozy Hotel La Ferronniére. A nice villa, which has been converted into a hotel. The site has been expanded with a wellness center and suites in an annex. We visited the place for an extended weekend. 3 nights with breakfast and dinners, of which 1 dinner as gourmet.||The rooms are very stylishly decorated. 2 of the rooms have a balcony overlooking the city. The hotel has a nice terrace with the same good views.||The food is excellent and significantly better than you can otherwise get in Bouillon. However, it does not reach the Bib Gourmet level that the hotel was otherwise awarded in 2020. The restaurant suffers from a significant flaw. The kitchen can not keep up when fully occupied, resulting in long waits between dishes. We thus had to wait 45 min between second dish and the main course.

We only stayed one night but wished it was more. The guest house is the old iron works (hence the name) owners house and is suitably grand. We had a nice room on the second floor and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant was excellent and we had the set menu at the recommendation of the owner, we wer not disappointed. We sat in the garden after dinner with our coffees and watched the light show at the castle below, truly magical. Breakfast was more than enough to keep us going for the rest of the day and I thouroughly enjoyed the home made jams. We will stay here again

The place is magical. The house is beautifully decorated and gives the feeling of being in a mansion of dukes. It has a beautiful garden where one can relax and as the house is located on a hill it has a great view. It has parking and a playground for children. ||Breakfast was rich. ||The owner of the place was on holiday and the excellent restaurant was closed. The father of the owner was on charge. He is adorable, who took care of all our needs. ||But no lift, not air-condition in the room, no safe, no mini bar, small bathroom. Had all these conditions been met the hotel would have been perfect and ideal.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights over the Easter holidays. ||||The website omits a picture of the building when I just looked. The old building is part of the charm of the hotel. The room I stayed in was a little bit more dated than the pictures on the website, but our bathroom was also quite modern. ||The room in which they served the restaurant also had a very nice artsy fin de siècle feeling. We did not eat in the restaurant, as we do not eat meat - but the breakfast was very good ||||The location - in walking distance form the main town - but still quiet - was also good. ||||This is a very well run hotel - that offers all the services of the main hotel chains - but is different and has a lot of character ||||We would stay here again

We had a 2 days seminar with 9 People. Friendly staff. A real cosy nice big house with a 2d modern building. Great location with nice view on the castle (5 to 10' walk from the city) from the terrasse and veranda, good meeting room at ground floor with access to outside, very nice and clean standard rooms and great exclusive and suite rooms.|The restaurant is outstanding. Excellent lunches and dinner, very tasty with good local products and a real talent to make great cooking combinations. A real excellent table. Wellness (sauna, hammam, hot tube, massage) not used (out of season: inform in advance the reception if you want to use it). Breakfast was also great with again high quality products and home made jam,...|The bar is also pleasant with a good choice and tasty drink sides.|It was a real great experience. I strongly recommend it for seminars ( your colleagues will love it) or family or couple.

Nice small Hotel in an old Villa, with Art Deco architectural elements. We had a superior room with terasse and view over the City. The breakfast performance was bad though, empty trays that got not filled again, even on on request. Parking available. 10 Minutes walk to the city; rather steep ascend on the way back. Gravel out sinde and steep chairs and tights bathrooms, so not wheelchair compatible.
