La Fiambrera Art Gallery

A fabulous contemporary art gallery which is now spread over two floor. It features international and Spanish artists. The works are very reasonably priced and are often playful and colourful. There are also gifts, clothes, postcards and other goods available. They have a website and goods can be sent all over the work. Directly opposite is a very interesting wall with jeans stuffed and mounted on the balcony and some mural work.

Such a great little store and all the staff were helpful and friendly. As others have said, good variety with a wide range of price points to select from, partly because they have a good mix of originals and prints. As a tourist, I appreciate they had a both local artists and locally inspired art. We ended up purchasing a couple of prints so we could remember our trip. Even if you don't buy anything, the gallery is still incredibly warm, welcoming and interesting place to check out!

What a fantastic place. Beautiful works on display for purchase, with helpful and friendly staff. Lucia and Ruth helped me and they were happy to speak in English as my Spanish is no good! I found it totally by chance when looking for lunch and now I'm convinced I will look to order something online after my holiday. Beautiful postcards with copies of many works are also available. Please do visit this excellent little gallery!

Excellent art gallery right in the heart of Malasaña. It's easy to assume it's a small store until you enter the gallery downstairs in the basement. They carry an assortment of local art, including modern figurines and minimalist local fares. I did not have enough time to order a piece that i liked (tax exempt if non citizen) but I'll definitely be back next time!

The art in the gallery is amazing… the staff is under-informed about transporting artwork. I purchased a print and explained that I would be packing it in a suitcase and asked to have it rolled in a tube shipping tube (which they had available) the staff refused and said they could only put it in a flat cardboard envelope. We argued about it, but they insisted it would be fine… I now own a worthless creased art print. I should have listed to my intuition, the gallery should have listened to my request. Lesson learned at the expense of my souvenir.
