La Flechita Roja

Great authentic Mexican tacos. My wife and I walked from La Ropa to find this place, and are glad we did. A short wait to find seating, and then we proceeded to order a delicious mix of various tacos which we enjoyed immensely. Neither of us speak Spanish, but we were able to order and pay without difficulty and very much enjoyed the meal. It was interesting to watch the comings/goings of people along the street, the busy kitchen staff, and enjoy ice cold drinks along with our meal. Very reasonable prices too!

Unbelievable experience at taco counters like this one! Pastor (pork roasted on spit) and barbacoa (stewed beef) on open soft corn tortillas with cilantro, onion, lime juice and salsas. Here they added a small roast onion and slice of roast pineapple on the pastor! Get the consome' to pour on! Always forget photos because it tastes so good it's gone!

If your looking for authentic, this is your place. We went for the Al Pastor and will be returning before we leave to smash some Barbacoa!

This is the original taqueria in Zihuatanejo and whilst it has been renovated it still has that small town charm, full of locals, full of sounds and aromas, and with a stripped-down menu that has worked well for them. I had the classic 3 barbacoa and 3 al pastor tacos with a bottle of Squirt to wash it all down! As good as you’ll ever get!

Best tacos al pastor I’ve had outside of Mexico City

Very limited menu, which I like! They don't try to do it all, but what they do have is very good and also extremely inexpensive. Great people and food. If you are craving some authentic Mexican tacos its well worth a visit.

Five stars for flavor, one star for hygiene. The server uses his bare hand to sprinkle the chopped cilantro and then onion onto your taco. So if you’re concerned about the potential for Hep C or E. Coli, skip those two toppings. Otherwise, tacos tasted delicious.

Best Al Pastor tacos I’ve ever had. I highly recommend you stop by and have a seat with the amazing team here. They are wonderful, polite and friendly. I would recommend lunch or dinner here.
