While walking in the old town you come across this nice cafe with a terrace along the river. They have a good selection of small bites including cakes, bruschetta and ice creams and waffles.
They have a staffs are attentive and fast.
The location is great for its view of the city and river.
Price is not an issue here. Overall worthy of trying.

Amazing little spot, I recommend trying a tarte here! The waitresses were very nice and you can enjoy a meal leisurely. This is one of the few restaurants in Colmar that do not take reservations

The Tarte Flambee, I called it Super Thin Crust Pizza, which is the specialty of Alsace region France. Another extreme from the Italian versions. Savoring the Tarte Flambee gave me no/less guilt as it obviously fit my Asian stomach nicely for lunch w/o overload.
The service attitude of La Fleur de sel were excellent, courteous & polite. The ambient & scenery of Little Venice was priceless.
One piece of advice, for those who walk from Colmar train station toward Little Venice, do take notes, avoid jump right into the first few restaurant come into sight… walk another couple hundred meter, you will discover the gem called La Fleur de Sel, at peak hours, you got to wait, but queue move fast. Thanks La Fleur de Sel for leaving a positive impression of Colmar

This is an Alsace eatery along Quai de la Poissonnerie in the heart of the Old Town of Colmar. We visited during the Christmas Market recently found them only open to serve take-away tartes flambee, pretzels, mulled wine and a few other drinks.
On the day, we tried their Munster (€7.50) which was small but decent size for one person. It was ready in less than 5 minutes. You can enjoy them at some standing tables available right next to the canal. Fit for purpose, good enough lite bites during the Christmas Market.

Food and service was great! Very nice restaurant with outdoor seating right by the water and one small bathroom.
The only issue was the five bees that kept coming to our table and food that made it very hard to eat. Otherwise, food was tasty and simple.

The location is nice and the staff was very friendly. It was a very busy day so had to queue for a little. At 3pm they were already out of tarte flambée which was a shame. Got the bruschetta instead which was alright.

The lady is very nice. The food is also delicious. I had the sauerkraut with pork, and it was the best I’ve ever had.

Delicious Fleischschnacka that is hard to find in restaurants but glad that Le Fleur de Sel serves it. It's a cute tiny restaurant of 14 seats so it's best to do a walk-in when they open.
