I've been following all the La Folie Douce branches on social media for a few months now and wanted to visit for my 50th birthday. We tried to book VIP online before we came out but had zero response. We managed to book La Frutiere for the first day of our holiday to check it out. As there were only 2 of us, we got stuck far away right in a corner where it was difficult to see the show. Before we left, we booked again for my actual 50th birthday day and specifically told the staff who made a note in the booking and we asked for a better table, closer to the action. When we arrived, we were given the very next table to the one we had previously, tucked away in the corner. We noticed other folk celebrating birthdays were getting staff clapping and holding a board with sparklers saying 'happy birthday' but I got absolutely nothing, despite pointing it out to them on my t-shirt. This place is over priced for what it is, the food is average at best, and they only care about big groups, not couples. The show was the same both times, so not even any variation either. If you do visit, don't waste your money on the over priced food in the restaurant, just stay in the bar side for drinks instead, it's more fun and involved than sitting in the corner of the restaurant.

There are many great restaurants in Courchevel, but what truly sets La Folie Douce apart is its exceptional entertainment programs. It's the perfect spot for a lively lunch if you're skiing in the Méribel area and want to enjoy great food with a vibrant party atmosphere. A must-visit for those seeking both fun and flavor on the slopes!

This is a simply awesome place, so this review will be short. Directly on the ski slopes, it is a true 'folie': great food, entertainment, and ambience... Fancy dancing on the tables? Big yes! Service is fast. Waiters are friendly and responsive. Food is gooooood. Drinks also. A must do while in Maribel or Courchevel...access from Courchevel is a bit more complicated need to change three telecabines but the mountain views make it a worthy trip. Super easy access from Meribel, one short telecabin trip. Don't think twice if you are looking for a nice daylight party place while taking a break from skiing.

Cool place with nice energy and show!! Beautiful view over the mountains! Great cocktails! My burger was so so but the fish and chicken dish was very delicious.

Didn't expect to have so much fun!!!! Awesome apreski party!!! We had a reservation at 12:30 pm at the Fruitiere restaurant. They have two seatings, 12:30 and 2:30. So, we had to leave the table by 2:30. We ate and went to the bar side. Up on the top side facing the stage, there is a VIP section. In the VIP, there is no minimum to spend, but there is a minimum to drink. FYI, it's not a cheap selection. So, having lunch and drinks is a better choice, in my opinion. However, it is still not cheap. It all depends on how much you want or can spend. VIP or restaurant reservations are necessary, but not if you want to party. You can show up and still have fun. Gets really busy by 2pm. We stayed in Courchevel 1850, so very useful information for the reader! In case you drink too much!!!You can get there by foot, I mean without skiing, by just taking a few lifts. So from Courchevel 1850, take VERDONS, then walk to SAULIRE, on the top take SAULIRE EXPRESS 2. Get off mid stop at the Folie Douce. Short walk down, and it's there. Going back is the same. Just walk up to the lift, little tougher in ski boots and skis, but manageable. From Meribel, just up and down on SAULIRE EXPRESS 1. You can always ski down if you feel up to it. It's good to have sunglasses if sunny outside. Have fun!

Amazing show, it was so fun! I recommend reserving a table for 14:00, not earlier, If you want to have fun. Food wasn’t amazing, it was good but nothing special. But that is fine because you come here for the entertainment and experience. Service could be a bit better, sometimes it took a while to get the attention of a server.

Insane! The Ski Apres spot in the region. Always wanted to go! This is the one on Meribel. There’s another on the Val Thorens. Pricey but a must do. Live performances and DJ/Electronics music in the late afternoon. Went there twice 🕺🏼
