Visited twice in a day both before lunch and dinner! Really good options - loving the octopus but apparently it ran out of stock very fast! The fried seafood mix is also good. And the sardine with onions! They served with good baguette. The fried fish ball was okay - I’d rather choose the others. Service was also friendly and quick, and very affordable price. You basically just stand on the two sides and finish your snacks! All my experiences in Padova was really good. I’d recommend my friends way much more to visit this city than Venice I think….

Absolutely delicious choice of fresh seafood. Prepared on the spot, full of taste. The staff is nice and there was basically no wait. Highly recommend 👌

Their octopus is a must try ! They don't speak English but they run a family business, arrived 12:45 and already there was a queue ! Check the pictures, check the menue and make your order Everything we tried was really good and fresh ... Street food and seafood all in one go is a must try for sure over here. Ps. The fried seafood mix is lovely but wasnt hot , the rest of the food was excellent for the style of serving and eating !

This was a very interesting experience for us and we liked the taste of the octopus and their sauce. We cut a star because the bread is extra charged and the portion of bread is very small. They make the money with octopus and bread must be more for the same money.

Very nice people and very fresh octopus. We found that cleaning the head part of the octopus would give it a better flavour, but overall definitely worth a visit.

Amazing sea food!!! Highly recommend this place! We loved the food and the stuff! The stuff is so helpful and polite, in a good mood as well! The foos was so tasty that I can't wait to come to Padova again to eat here! The prices are reasonable and the quality of food is like in a most prestigious restaurants! P.S. the olive oil they use is so tasty that we had some bread with that as well and it was great! Amazing! Thank you, it was the best meal we had! ♥️♥️♥️

It was a wet afternoon in August so that might take away the gloss from things. Sell octopus and other seafood- plates sold by weight.

We had three dishes with prosecco. All three were fresh and delicious. Sitting in the piazza, watching the people, and nibbling on the delicious seafood was living la dolce vita! The octopus was moist and served on a plate with toothpicks. Funny is that the octopus, although uniquely prepared Italian style, was good but not my favorite dish! We got these snails that were very small but packed with a salty flavor. There were the perfect bar snack! They were my favorite. We also got the tuna which was seared and covered with pistachios. It was served sliced. Yummy!! The chef was gracious and posed for pictures. I would definitely put this in my permanent rotation if I lived here!! I hope to be back. And soon!

La Folperia is the best! We've been 3 times in the past few weeks and have loved everything. Delicious, traditional food from the Veneto. They have a deal with the bar next door that you can buy your food from the stand and sit at their tables if you get a drink.

Wow! Best street food ever! Nothing like it any place. Boiled octopus is original in presentation and recipe. Crusted tuna is incomparable. Melts in your mouth. A must go out, find it, eat it. Enjoy it. My most enjoyable meal in the Italian cities traveled so far on this trip.

Amazing seafood! Shrimp and octopus were to die for. I actually had to go back for seconds. Great atmosphere, you can order a glass of Prosecco or beer from the bar next door, while you enjoy the piazza.

Looking for Italian Street food? You found the right place! This food "truck" it's one of the best I have stumble. Italians know how to step it up... Everything is cook to perfection. you can get a prosecco from corner bar and you are set for an aperitivo. This place is known for the "Folpo" octupus; however, you won't be disappointed with the other dishes.

La Folperia is amazing. Family-owned for generations, it brings to one of the most beautiful piazzas in Italy top-notch flavor and quality and freshness of seafood. The offer depends on season and market and there is a guarantee of satisfaction and smiles all-over. The owners are siblings, Max and Barbara. They spend the morning cooking and preparing delicious recipes and starting around 6 they appear near bar Dei Osei... Get there early if you want their specialty, the "folpeto". Everything else is also excellent: "bovoeti, masenete", etc. (no, you won't find these names in a dictionary, as they are dialect... super local... it does not get any more sustainable that this). Endorsed by Slowfood. For a glass of Prosecco ask the adjacent bar... best combo in the whole Veneto region!!
