The few reviews written on here do not do this restaurant justice, so I really felt the need to leave a few comments. The place itself is an abandoned house turned restaurant, and the ambiance and decor really fit that old-time feel. There are vines growing all over the walls, the tables and chairs look worn down (but are very stable), and there are plants and fairy lights lining the window sills. Oh, and they also have a small garden with tomatoes, lettuce, etc. A very quaint place to eat dinner indeed. As for the menu, complaints of the limited menu choice are completely invalid; all their dishes are delicious and they keep the menu small for specialty reasons, and they do have daily specials. Though it's classified as "Mediterranean", you can find a good variety of items (pastas, tuna, steak, chicken). As for my dish, the "pasta negra" had homemade pasta noodles which had a really nice texture. The seafood was fresh, and the cream sauce wasn't too heavy. Another great thing about this place is the pricing--since you're out of the hotel zone, tourist pricing does not apply here. Food is at a half or a third of the price in the downtown which is good if you're not looking to get ripped off. The only complaint I have is the lighting was rather poor near my table, as we came after sunset. A candle or two would have been helpful. If you're in Cancun though, definitely take the 20 min bus ride to find this place, you won't regret it!
