La Forêt Jubilee

We came with 4 kids during a family visit. We came on a weekday and it was busy but not overwhelming. I can see how it could be crazy on a weekend. The food was absolutely delicious. We shared every dish, Bulgogi platter, fried chicken (both spicy and not), mango waffles, along with other pastries. The front girl taking our order was friendly, food is fantastic and the decor was cool. Its not an intimate fine dining type place. Expect some overall noise with how sound travels.

I ordered the choco banana waffles — the portion was perfect for one person (honestly, I couldn’t even finish it!). It came with ice cream, whipped cream, and fresh banana, such a fun and tasty combo. The vibe and atmosphere were cozy and pleasant, perfect for a chill hangout. For coffee, I tried the cinnamon hazelnut latte — wow! A really unique and refreshing twist on the usual latte experience. Loved it!

I brought my gf who had never experienced this eatery. She loved everything - food & the cool California vibe. The rating is both ours. Food: 5/5 - she couldn’t decide for the longest time. Finally she ordered the Forest bowl salad with a cookie and coffee. I had an almond croissant and tea. All delish! They also sell cakes, slices of cakes, sandwiches & have a good selection of to go baked goodies. Atmosphere: 5/5 - we loved the natural greenery inside with the big green umbrellas. It feels like outdoors. It does get busy at peak times. Try to grab a table while you can & have someone else order. Service: 5/5 - server was friendly. There’s limited parking out front and at the back of the eatery. A great place to chill after work or to meet friends here. We’ll be back with friends.

La Forêt doubles as a bakery and restaurant, allowing customers to choose their desired baked goods to bring home, or order and enjoy a meal in the bustling seating area. While waiting in line to order and pay, tons of cakes, cookies, croissants, and even ice cream tins are displayed, enticing customers to pick up something else to have with their food. Additionally, physical copies of their menu are available at the end of the counter closest to the door, which I find quite handy. Importantly, La Forêt does have an app and a rewards program, so I’d recommend for returning customers to download and sign up! By signing up and providing your birthday, you’ll get a free drink of your choice on your birthday and up to 3 days following it :) Usually, La Forêt is incredibly busy- chances are, more than half of the seats will be occupied, which is saying a lot as the interior is huge! If you want a more intimate, quiet spot, this probably isn’t the place to go to, as noise levels can be high sometimes. Additionally, I prefer sitting towards the back, away from the doors. The large table closest to the doors, while usually open, gives off a metallic, iron smell, which may affect your dining experience if you sit there. Ordering at the counter and having your food delivered is usually the most interaction you’ll have with the employees, so that’s great if you’re introverted! Napkins and water are provided for customers to grab as they please, located at a station closer to the back, not too far away from the counter. My go-to is the Bulgogi Platter, which comes with a helping of Bulgogi, two pieces of toast, one piece of squid ink bread, strawberry jam, eggs (I go with scrambled), and potatoes (I love their deep-fried, roasted ones)! The strong savoury bulgogi works amazingly with the sweet jam, fluffy eggs, seasoned potatoes and crisp bread. My favourite drink so far is the Iced Salted Nutella Latté, which is very tasty! I’ve also tried their Strawberry Waffle, which is generous in its portion size and makes for a great dessert. Things are pricier here, but I find that overall, the food is quite good, so I don’t mind spending a little more once in a while. Whether you’re with friends or dining solo, La Forêt is worth a visit!

I had a wonderful dining experience at La Forêt in Vancouver with my cousin and my former nursing instructor. The place is surprisingly spacious—like a gym!—with a cozy, stylish vibe that’s perfect for relaxing and catching up. I honestly didn’t know what to order because everything on the menu looked amazing—I felt like I wanted to try it all! The food did not disappoint, and the atmosphere made it even better. There’s usually a queue during peak hours, but it’s totally worth the wait. And don’t miss their cakes—they’re absolutely delicious and a must-have! Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving good food and good vibes.

A cool place to visit. Their blueberry cake was okay. It does get very busy, so probably not a quiet place for people who are looking to work. Overall, not a bad place to hangout with friends.

Found this place searching for breakfast. First thing is please ignore negative reviews. This restaurant is Five star all the way. It’s nicely decorated spacious and clean. Service is friendly, polite end helpful. Server girl brought us the plates to the table with a smile I asked for hot water to top up my tea .. of course I got it with a smile. Food was perfect. Flavour popped and presentation was excellent. Got KFC platter, bacon and egg platter and soup. All excellent. Also …nice touch is the condiments, napkins , extra utensils and even take out boxes and cups available on side table without having to ask. Music could be a tad lower but was not in the way of conversation. Definitely worth the drive to experience this place and we will be back. What a pleasant place.
