Not exceptional, but ok
We were desperate to find a place to eat in San Marco d'Annunzio on a Friday in March when we stopped here before driving to Taormina.
All other places to eat were closed or out of town.
It's an improvised restaurant: just 10 minutes on the other side of the road, there is a breathtaking view on the Eolian Islands, still this place was in a huge room and only a small terrace faced the deserted road.
Their specialty, the oven baked pasta, was horrible, but the other dishes were really good.
They had an excellent choice of wine: all really good quality and affordable red wines were on their shelves.
Their prices were also acceptable.
The service was really slow (although only two tables were taken at that time), but the waiter had a nice sense of humor.
A place to try.
