La Galería de Florida Park

Looking for a mid-day break from visiting the park and found this bar/restaurant. Had a solid mojito along with the chicken wings and the spring rolls. The wings came with a sweet Thai chili spice that was very good. Our service was able to speak decent English so for English speakers you have a shot at easy communication.

After a long walk around retiro park. We wanted to grab a quick adult beverage and some pinxtos. We saw this cool spot at the edge of the park. While the ambience and atmosphere is amazing, the food and drinks are not. We were not impressed with the menu so just ordered some cocktails. The pinxto they gave us was sugar covered gummy bears.. a little odd. The prices were also bonkers. I would only come here for the people watching. Other then that, I wouldn’t spend much time.

If you can overlook the clientele - an assortment of fussy influencers and moneyed family types, it is well worth visiting here for the food. The polished spin on Russian salad is tasty, the beef burger sweet with caramelized beetroot, and the space open and cheery with its proximity to Parque del Retiro. And if you want a nap afterward, well the park is just like *right there*.

Very cool atmosphere but the worst service I ever experienced. The staff isn’t nice and very dysfunctional and not friendly at all! We waited forever for a table even they had few available, no one told us it’s a self order and then a waiter came to us, one person told us we can smoke inside- the other said we can’t… and more.

We just randomly had lunch at this restaurant after finishing walking in the park. Surprisingly all foods that we ordered are delicious. For me, spanish foods are quite too salty but foods at this place are good taste, not too salty. Tomato salad, steak, spanish omlette, drinks and deserts are delicious. The vibes there are good too like outdoor and in the garden feeling. The server in the picture is very nice and provided good service too. ❤

The food was ok but there was a fairly limited menu if you don't want jamón, the atmosphere was honestly great and the sangria was very good, but don't count on any kind of good service. It was dysfunctional at best, we gave our order to the first server, then were asked 3 times by a different manager or person if we had ordered and we said yes and told them what our order was. The original server never helped us again and it felt comical with no organization. Then we asked for the check, and after we had someone helping us we were asked by someone else if we needed the check. On top of this the reservation is €10 a person, which isn't bad, but the server didn't know how to apply it to our bill that was €19 even though we said we didn't care about the €1 that needed to be returned. Only after a manager was asked were we then shown a bill with the additional €4 in service charges changing the original bill we saw. Don't go here if you want any kind of service that makes sense.

Great place for tapas on weekends. In the afternoon they have live music and summer season a great terrace for drinks. The food is typical Spanish organized in different kioskos

Good place, friendly staff, We ordered vegetarian food and were quite happy with the taste and quantity. Lots of small birds can pick food from unattended tables. For us it was nice to have the birds around. Some where not happy about it.
