La Gare / Le Gore is one of those rare places that truly feels alive.
Set in a converted 19th century railway station on Paris’s old Petite Ceinture, the venue keeps much of its industrial soul with exposed brick, dim lighting, and raw textures while blending it with an artistic, bohemian vibe.
Early in the night, the La Gare part is warm and laid back. You can grab a drink, chill on the terrace, and enjoy live jazz surrounded by locals and musicians. The sound quality is surprisingly good for such an intimate space, and the mood is effortlessly cool with no pretense, no dress code, just good energy.
Then, as midnight approaches, the lights dim and the Le Gore side comes alive downstairs. Suddenly you are in a completely different world, dark, bass heavy, and hypnotic. The vaulted cellar layout makes the acoustics intense and immersive, creating that underground energy that is rare to find even in Paris
🎵 Music and Programming
This dual identity is what makes La Gare / Le Gore unique.
Jazz evenings (La Gare): Every night, live jazz, funk, fusion, or hip hop infused sessions. Sometimes free or pay what you want. It feels authentic, you are watching top tier musicians play just a few meters away, often improvising and jamming.
Club nights (Le Gore): After midnight, the place transforms into a techno and house club. Expect deep, raw, often experimental sets with a crowd that is passionate about sound, not selfies.
The musical curation is bold and eclectic. It is the kind of place where you might discover an unknown jazz trio one night and a rising Berlin style techno DJ the next.
