La Garita

This is a wonderful place to stop, offering beautiful views and very good food. The setting alone makes it worth a visit, and the experience is made even better by the generous portions and rich, well-balanced flavors. Everything we tried was satisfying and thoughtfully prepared. I would especially recommend the coffee, which was very nicely made and a pleasure to enjoy while taking in the scenery. Another lovely touch was the presence of animals near the restaurant, which added charm to the atmosphere and made the visit feel more unique and welcoming. Overall, this is a great spot to relax, enjoy quality food, and take in the surroundings. I would happily recommend it to anyone passing through.

A must stop on your way from La Paz to Cabo. The food was good, service is good and the prices are very reasonable. The vibe is awesome and for the kids there's a small little zoo and playground.

Had the most wonderful experience at La Garita this morning. A good friend of ours who lives in Cabo San Lucas picked us up this morning and brought us to this most amazing place. Food is spectacular and great service. You know you're in the right place when Chickens and Chick's are walking around among all the patrons 😃 It truly was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. Horses, Chickens, and other Farm animals around as well which are great for all the kids to see. If you're even remotely close to La Garita it is a must stop for sure. The great local flavors, choyero food . Great taste, local of course, great place they even have a small zoo and very good staff. You can find the place full and they still serve you very quick. Don't miss the opportunity to know this place.

The restaurant on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere is amazing. They have so many choices to pick from the food menu. The environment is awesome and the staff is friendly. I deffinelty recommend this spot if your headed north to La Paz or south to Los Cabos. They also have cute Keychains and other knickknacks for sale and pastries for sale.

Well I was not expecting this level of great food and service out in the middle of nowhere. What a fantastic breakfast and lunch place! I've been wanting to try it for years now actually, but we were never hungry when driving back and forth between Todos Santos and La Paz. Now I know what's up and will be making special trips here and bringing friends. It was pretty full when we got there around noon on a Saturday, but there were enough empty tables so no one had to wait. We were immediately served totopos and a buffet of delicious homemade salsas. Service was *very* prompt and the perfect mix of friendly and professional. We had the machaca burrito, bean empanada, juevos con chilorio, and a banana/papaya smoothie. All were fantastic, but special shout out on the empanada and smoothie. Smoothies in Baja are usually meh. This was rich and refreshing... AND huge. Take a little post-meal walk to visit the cute farm animals and see the grounds!

The most authentic dining experience on the BCS, absolutely delicious food at a great price. A must stop while traveling between Cabo and La Paz. The service is amongst the best.

I love this place! The food is excellent. Traditional Mexican. Have had breakfast here many times. And I will definitely return many more. Do yourself a favor if you're driving by and stop in. You wont be disappointed. 5 stars all the way. Beautiful gardens and many great places to sit under their beautiful palapas. Thank you for the fantastic food!

So how did we find this place? We didn't. Our hired driver brought us here as we were being transported to the sea of Cortez. Let me paint the picture, dirt floors, chickens and a cool dog wandering the restaurant. Now this was cool. The food was good and not overly priced. I really enjoyed the tamale. The sliced avocado and cheese were also awesome. Four adults with drinks cost me $38 bucks American. Sweet deal. Cool little joint off the freeway.

First time visiting but we are definitely returning! The food was excellent! The empanadas de marlin take the prize. It was very busy but even then, our order for a group of six was taken timely and before we knew it, our food was being placed. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Highly recommend.

Atmosphere is really good. The service was on point. The drinks were really good and the food that we have. I can't complain. I will definitely come back to this place again if I'm in the area, I'm ready.

They have the most authentic and fresh tortillas de Harina ive ever had. The food was really good. Clean Bathrooms. And fast service

A must when making a route from la Paz to Todos Santos according to a local in La Paz and he was not wrong. They greet you with a beautiful array of salsa and chips at no cost. You honestly can't to wrong with anything but if you're a cheese and meat lover highly recommend the quesadillas pal chilpas. We had them and they were phenomenal! Also tried the BirriA which was outstanding and the machaca de pollo, oh so good. I wanted to try the Cabeza but sadly they were all out at around 11:00 am so maybe come earlier if you want to try that. Lastly if you come early Sunday morning might be able to enjoy some live music.

Food and service was excellent! Was recommended to this place by a housekeeper and she was on point. Very good.

Unfortunately we didn't get to eat, but stopped because our 16 year old son became sick with a bacterial infection and needed to use their restroom. Carla, the sweet lady who was there, gave us medicine and told us where the nearest medical clinic was located in todos. She even offered to get on our car with us and show us the way. Her kindness will never be forgotten! We even saw her the next day at clinic, she gave us all hugs and loves. Please support their restaurant, wonderful people. Xoxo
