Boy, were we ever glad to bump into a place like this! The food was exquisite, views were amazing and service was extremely attentive. Seafood Campechana for starters was nice. Pescado al pastor and Shrimp tacos were superb. Recommended

This is a high end restaurant that has it all: excellent food, superior service and an outstanding view. They also have sophisticated live background music. This is an all around 1st class restaurant, worthy of a special occasion.

The restaurant is amazing. The decor and atmosphere are first class. Our server Gabi was very funny and knowledgeable. She gave us lots of great advice on the food and wine and also gave us great tips for other restaurants to visit on our stay. We had the lobster thermador which was fantastic and a nice treat. It was the best lobster we have had. The only draw back was the price. It was more than twice as expensive as any other restaurant we had been to in Zihua. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great experience and food, but bring your wallet.

We visited Zihuatanejo and had dinner at La Gaviota on our last night in town. It was hard to get a reservation right away, but it was worth the wait. I'd recommend making your reservation in advance, especially during high season. The service is exceptional and the views are amazing. Also, the food was delicious and the portions were substantial. It's a whole experience eating at this place.

If you love fresh seafood, this place is absolutely a must visit. We ordered the catch of the day tiraditos (which was tuna carpaccio) and tiritas (which was marlin ceviche) and they were both absolutely to die for. We also ordered the roca shrimp which is basically firecracker shrimp but easily the tastiest fried shrimp I've ever had. We stayed at the Thompson down the beach and this was a super easy walk from there and so delicious that my fiancé and I walked back the next day for another round. Day two we got the same raw options + coconut shrimp which was also very good. Service is amazing and the atmosphere is on the water and unbeatable.

Everything was great. Our server, Horacio, was especially fantastic at taking care of us. The food was delicious and the ambience is very romantic.

We went 5-6 times in the last 6 years but haven't been there for a year or so. We went on a friend's birthday on a Saturday night. Place is still great with beautiful sunset, great - excellent service also. And we did not have to wait even though it was full. But food is just fair in my opinion. Many places around Zihuatanejo are (a lot) better at half the price. Bottled water - regular topo Chico - was charged 3 times the regular restaurant price. Shame!

Just crazy good. No, like for real, the taste of this tuna blew my mind!
