La Gavitella - Restaurant & Beach

This restaurant has lovely views with some seating outside, but the majority inside. A very popular place and good service. We found the food to be beautifully presented but the chicken salad was very bland and a bit dry and needed a dressing. The balsamic and oil on the table that they suggested to use wasn’t what was needed. The lettuce was also a bit bitter. Although it looked lovely it definitely needed something like a French dressing or equivalent and then it would be perfect. It was nice sitting outside and listening to the music from the beach club below. A nice atmosphere.

I had the most wonderful experience at La Gavitella 🥰 It was the perfect place to relax, sunbath, and swim while enjoying the breathtaking views of Positano. I truly spent a dream day there and can’t wait to return. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was warm and very helpful – the staff answered all of our questions and gave us great recommendations on what to try. A truly unforgettable spot!

If you’re looking to splurge on a beach club experience in the Amalfi Coast, this is the one. It’s not over crowded or over priced. We sprung for the deluxe package and it was worth every penny. So much was included in our experience and I love how private it felt. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing and luxurious experience this is the beach club for you. We got lunch while we were there as well. It was delicious

We had the most amazing meal at La Gavitella! Honestly, our favourite meal on the Almalfi Coast! The food was incredible, the cocktails were amazing and the service was spectacular! The speed boat over to the beach club was also awesome! We’d defo recommend dining here if you find yourself in Positano / Praiano in the future!

Beautiful beach club! We went around noon for lunch and a day by the water. The staff was so accommodating to our needs and the restaurant was amazing. One of the best places for lunch with decent pricing. Got a ton of amazing pictures. 10/10 experience!

Absolutely incredible experience! This cooking masterclass was such a fun and unforgettable moment for me and my friends. We truly enjoyed every second of it — the atmosphere was amazing, warm, and very well thought out. You can tell that a lot of love and attention went into organizing everything. The venue itself is top-level — clean, beautiful, and modern. Everything felt fresh and perfectly maintained, which didn’t go unnoticed. The staff really made an effort, and it shows in every detail. The class was interactive, engaging, and filled with laughter. And the cherry on top? After the masterclass, we got to relax at the restaurant’s private beach — the perfect way to end the day. We left feeling happy, full, and inspired. Highly recommend!

We stayed in an Airbnb at the top of the stairs. Such a cute restaurant. The seafood salad was perfect. Same with the pasta. Every dish we had was great!
