La Gentilhommière - Nancy

Located in a street with many restaurants we found this place. The area looked a little touristy but when our starters came we were very happy to chosen this place. Food, especially the starters were excellent. The main course disappointed a bit unfortunately. The service was good, though would recommend one of the staff to take care of personal hygiene on hot days (use deodorant).

Loved everything about this restaurant- from its impeccable service to its delicious dishes, ambiance and cleanliness. We were a table of 2, and opted for the lunch menu. Highly recommend this for a truly wonderful dining experience.

Enjoyed very much this welcoming, stylish and cozy, culinary find in the heart of Nancy, a short walk from Place Stanislas. Traditional and modern cuisine are served and hosted by foodies who are also great wine and local produce lovers. Can't wait to return to enjoy this on the outside terrace in this quiet street.

Cosy restaurant with a few vegetarian options. My main course was a bit too rich overall, but it tasted very nice. The soup was amazing. Excellent wine as well, and a nice atmosphere. Great service!

We had a lovely dinner here last night. The food was excellent. You do need to be a little patient between courses as they are actually cooking it for you. General ambience and service was also very good. We ate outside as the weather was lovely, but the inside dining room also looked very nice. We went for the fixed price menu Gentilhommiere, which was ve4y fairly priced given the quality of the food.

Beautiful food served by very welcoming and accommodating staff! The staff were happy to translate some of the menu for me. I had beautifully seared scallops with Pea Puree! A salad of ricotta with squash. Duck breast with sweet potato puree/ bacon lardons. And a Tarte Tatin with vanilla ice cream (which was stunning!) Will definitely be coming back soon, if not for the food then definitely for the extensive wine menu!

Great place under new management, Cosy, comfortable, buzzy ambience on this restaurants cobbles street. Excellent service with attention to details. Good range of drinks. Lovely food presentation and taste. Really yummy! Ideal for a romantic dinner and for friends night out. Reservation recommended.

Went for lunch. Excellent quality. A real treat. Great friendly service. Our waiter spoke perfect English. A proper restaurant. The kitchen opening times are quite short, so best to reserve if possible.
