La Gentilhommière - Nancy

On a quick trip to Nancy on a cold and rainy Sunday, my husband tasked me with finding a good place for dinner. After reading numerous reviews, I chose this restaurant. We arrived almost 30 minutes late because we had problems at our hotel. Upon arrival, even though we were late, we were greeted with a glass of cava while we waited for our table. My husband ordered foie gras, which was divine. I ordered feta cheese croquettes with pumpkin, saffron mayonnaise, and beetroot 😮‍💨 What an explosion of flavors! I ate it with my eyes closed to better savor it 🤣😋. The main course: the meat was perfectly cooked, the salad was fresh. The dessert was excellent. And all the staff were extremely attentive. We left very happy. I really want to come back soon. Congratulations to the whole team.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Located in a street with many restaurants we found this place. The area looked a little touristy but when our starters came we were very happy to chosen this place. Food, especially the starters were excellent. The main course disappointed a bit unfortunately. The service was good, though would recommend one of the staff to take care of personal hygiene on hot days (use deodorant).

Fantastic food, wonderful, knowledgable and friendly staff. Really good value for money. Would highly recommend.

Enjoyed very much this welcoming, stylish and cozy, culinary find in the heart of Nancy, a short walk from Place Stanislas. Traditional and modern cuisine are served and hosted by foodies who are also great wine and local produce lovers. Can't wait to return to enjoy this on the outside terrace in this quiet street.

Loved everything about this restaurant- from its impeccable service to its delicious dishes, ambiance and cleanliness. We were a table of 2, and opted for the lunch menu. Highly recommend this for a truly wonderful dining experience.

Cosy restaurant with a few vegetarian options. My main course was a bit too rich overall, but it tasted very nice. The soup was amazing. Excellent wine as well, and a nice atmosphere. Great service!

What a delightful evening. From the beginning the service was the best. I believe it was the owners initially who were so welcoming and hospitable and then our waiter who again was so lovely. Then there was the food wow just gorgeous. Thankyou so very much for a wonderful night. Nancy has definitely been the highlight of our holiday. 😃

Fantastic dining experience in Nancy. We went for dinner, but they also have lunch. The cocktails are delicious and the wine options have a variety of price ranges. The 2 or 3 course dinner options are varied and delicious. The portions are generous. We tried the escargot, and scallops to start, the duck confit and veal for mains and the fig and apple desserts. All fabulous. The manager, servers and chef are attentive and delightful. We will return before we leave as why risk a bad meal elsewhere!
