La Gondola was absolutely beautiful! My boyfriend and I went to celebrate our anniversary at the WaterFire festival and it exceeded our expectations. From the music, to the gondola, to the homemade Italian cookies, and our tour guide Evano (who sang a little on the boat and gave us the history of the festival) - everything was outstanding. A unique experience you should definitely not skip - thank you so much, La Gondola staff!

What a beautiful experience! If you and your loved one haven't had a romantic Gondola ride here...you better get on it! Plus its also a great girls night event! Bring your own bottle of wine or champagne. They provide a bucket of ice and glassware. Plus blankets. They truly do make it a comfortable ride to enjoy the beautiful ride under amazing brick bridges with an amazing history lesson to boot! We had a wonderful Gondola (driver? Rower?)..we forgot her name but it started with an M..like Matisse or something like that! What a beautiful beautiful voice as she sang under a couple of bridges. She made our romantic ride complete 🫶

Above and beyond! DO THIS! We set our expectations low, because we thought that we may feel silly or awkward, being paddled around and people watching. We found this to be a very reasonable price for the entire experience. We purchased the basic private option and were pleased. We weren’t celebrating. The needed quiet moments were welcomed and our gondolier was great company. This doesn’t have to be a romantic gesture. Just go ride and have a nice experience. Nighttime was amazing! You can customize to your preference, such as making it a family picnic, or add some romantic flare online, or bring your own.

Such a magical experience! Definitely something to experience. There were other boats on the water but the gondola just pushed the experience to a whole other level. We brought a bottle of champagne. They put it on ice while waiting for our turn. They open it for you and provide glasses. Our reservation was for 8:45 during a full lighting during the waterfire event. Time was perfect. There was time to walk around the event and then make our way over to the gondola. Communication throughout was excellent and the check in process was seamless. The music, the boat, our gondola driver, the fire was just an amazing experience. Highly recommend.

I never imagined my first experience gliding down a river in an authentic Venetian gondola would be in Providence, RI! But what an unforgettable experience! Our gondolier, Marcia, made it especially magical with her knowledge of Rhode Island history, her love for boats, and her gorgeous singing (she melted our hearts when she sang La Vie en Rose). I don’t know if I’ll ever get to Venice, but this experience filled my heart just the same. A must do when visiting Providence!

For our anniversary my partner and I decided to book a gondola ride with rose petals! We had such a romantic and beautiful experience with our gondolier, she took great care of us. She navigated the waterway with such grace and also sang us such nice songs. We brought our own wine and were treated with wine glasses, a bucket with ice and complimentary pink champagne biscuits as well. I would definitely do this again!

Absolutely amazing!!! Such a unique experience and very romantic. Our gondolier was so friendly. He gave us information about the city and stopped under the bridges to sing songs in English and Italian. They provide a bucket of ice and glasses (BYOB) and some nice Italian biscuits. My husband arranged for rose petals for a added romantic touch as we were celebrating our anniversary. I can’t recommend this enough if you are in Providence.
