La Gourmandise

My rating would be much higher if the price of the food matched the quality. It is really quitte good for a mixed grill at a price of €20, but definitely not at €30. The spareribs were s workout to tesr from the bones. The chicken was dry as the desert. Sausages were just good. There was no table salt for the french fries :(

ordered the set of 3 beer rochefort 6, 8, 10. and the cheese pate jamon platter. nice place to sit sip n savor. parking in town is free during weekends

Gave 3 stars ONLY because of the way we were (not) welcome by one of the waiters. He told us in French that there was no table available, while it was full of tables outside. We wanted just to drink some beers, and MAYBE later eat, so why not even listening to us? If you don't speak english you ask help to another waiter, you don't just send people away. We followed him (he LITERALLY closed the door on our faces) and we told a waitress that we wanted to sit to have some drinks, so she let us sit. The beers were good, the bartender very nice and available for us. The food we managed to order in the end was good as well. We spent 85 euros in this place, so really, was it the case to treat us that way? Horrible first impression, but good place in general.

A nice atmosphere and very friendly and efficient staff. Meals are very big, be warned! Salads are full of local flavours and frankly delicious. The vegetable soup is outstanding. Breads are also superb. Great food and a lovely place. Highly recommended.

Weird interaction. Waitress did not even speak or look at us, even when giving out menus. Did not get any attention or drinks for 15min.

The machine did not accept Mastercard. The staff was friendly and the food was good. In case you want to taste Rochefort beer, you can stop by

Fantastic place, dedicated owner, very nice food too. We came without reservation and the manager, who was in, helped us really nicely. I don't believe there's a signature dish here - whatever you take is going to be good. If any, try their barbecue grill dishes, they are super tasty. Very recommended.

We were in the area because we wanted to tour the Rochefort Abbey. When we got there we found out that it was not possible so we walked around the town instead and ended up here. A good thing too. They had a tasting platter with 3 25cl Rochefort beers (the 6, 8, and 10) as well as two plates of salami and a plate of cheese for less than 9 euros! Amazing deal and really good. The beers got better as the number got higher. We also ordered some small plates to eat while we were there which were also good. Inside is a small gift shop where you can buy souvenirs from the town and beer souvenirs from the Abbey.

Excellent local beers and menu inspired by the surrounding region. Hopping spot with a great view and an age diverse crowd. Perfect for an afternoon snack.
