My wife and I found this beautiful wine bar in Saint Germain on our first day in Paris. We were walking through the streets during the day and decided to come back later on. It is located just off a very crowded strip of restaurants which was perfect. The interior aesthetic was perfect for enjoying a bottle of wine and a plate together. The owner was working and very attentive while we were there. He helped with the menu and spoke great English which was a plus for us being from the states. Lots of great wines available as well, but we settled on one. 10/10 would recommend on your next trip to Paris.

We popped in for a bottle of wine, or two, and really enjoyed our time at this beautiful establishment. Ample selection of wines and sharing platters. Saucisson à la truffe was amazing. Nice atmosphere and good service. Will definitely come back.

My family enjoyed an incredible meal here while visiting Paris from the US. Our server whom I believe owns the restaurant was amazing. He gave us excellent recommendations and we even had to bring a bottle of champagne home that he recommended. Don’t leave without getting the tiramisu it is absolutely phenomenal!

Google
Too be honest, this place is a bit overpriced.. the tiramisu was good but expensive as well. The service was slow tho. We requested the water but it took forever..

Do not miss this spot. The food, wine, atmosphere and service were amazing. The restaurant is small, warm and cozy. We were greeted and served by the owner who took his time explaining the menu (helped us out and spoke great English) and making fantastic recommendations to take the guess work out for us. He paired our meal with the perfect bottle of wine. The food was incredible and the service made the experience. Best meal in Paris yet.

Google
It was delightful for me. The wine was excellent, and the food tasted excellent. A place that can be preferred for a pleasant conversation and wine. The interior is quite warm. It gave the interior design an entirely new vibe. We made a reservation. It would help if you did it. The employees are also very polite. I like it a lot. And I recommend it.

Google
The food and atmosphere here were incredible. They allowed us to re-cork our bottle of wine and take what was left it to go. The cheese and meats board was great, but the spinach and ricotta ravioli was to die for. We were able to make a last minute reservation for two on a weeknight but they still had some space for walk ins. The little street it is on and the ones connecting it are so cute and full of shops and restaurants.

Food was delicious, great service, restaurant was full with a great ambience! Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Where to begin? First off, the staff are incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the products they serve. Fantastic pairing recommendations and suggestions if you're unsure of what to get. Ultimately, I chose the foie gras (which was incredible) and a champagne pairing that complimented each other beautifully. The people next to me had also ordered a pasta dish that looked incredible, but I decided to finish off with the tarte citron and it did not disappoint. Smooth, creamy and just the right amount of tart lemon. I can't wait to be back in Paris because I will be back.

Yelp
My wife and I were visiting from the US and enjoyed a great date night meal here. The food was excellent and just what we wanted for a night out together. The beef bourguignon was the best we had while in Paris. Prices were what you expect this was probably our favorite restaurant we ate at.

Yelp
Pure perfection!!! We came across this place accidentally. Our Airbnb host gave us another place to try that had a very similar name, but we found this instead. And I am so thankful we did! This was by far one of the best meals we had in Paris. The "vibe" was immaculate, the staff were kind and helpful, and the food was out of this world! My husband and I both got a glass of red wine, which were lovely for a great price. We ordered the burrata which had tomatoes, arugula, raspberries, and balsamic and olive oil drizzle on top. This was delicious!! We cleaned the plate. I could've eaten several ordered of this as well as the ravioli we got. They had two ravioli options, and we chose the spinach and ricotta one. It came with 12 small ravioli pieces. Again, we devoured it. We saw dishes that other people ordered, and everything looked equally amazing. I would choose to go back here again during our short Paris stay if they were open today. It is that good!!

Yelp
It's our last night in Paris, and our shuttle leaves at 6:00 tomorrow morning, so we wanted to stay pretty close to our hotel. This place is a quick two-minute walk. It's got a beautiful interior, complete with exposed timbers on the ceiling (the building is two hundred years old), and it's been decorated by someone who has an excellent eye for detail. The night we arrived, the proprietor was expecting a large private party, so we were lucky to have arrived early. They have a great selection of wines by the bottle and glass. We went with the champagne by the glass. We each chose ravioli--Mom got the one with mortadella, and I got the spinach and basil. Their pasta is unique in that is made without egg. It was absolutely exquisite, and I don't think I can ever eat spinach ravioli again. The flavors of the spinach and basil came through loud and clear, and the olive oil that was drizzled over everything was superb. Every flavor came through individually, and they all came together in each bite. We finished with the cheese plate, which was also spectacular. The cheese selection represented multiple ages and milks. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Paris.

Yelp
This place deserves a 10 out of 5! Amazing food and service! Our favorite meal in Paris by far, everything is good. I would recommend making a reservation on a typical busy night. Tried San Daniel prosciutto, Stracciatella di bufala, jambon truffle, and some phenomenal beef ravioli. These were all beyond food we had in Paris! Also tried both deserts and great on both! The whole restaurant is a vibe and the service is very authentic, very good people here.

Olia G.

Yelp
Amazing place! They have smaller plates, tapas style to share. Salmon tartare was my fav! delicious wine, cute interior

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant of the week while in Paris. Extremely friendly staff/owner, great food/wine selections and very comfortable atmosphere. The owner helped translate menu for us and made great suggestions. We sat and enjoyed vibrant Paris restaurant scene for 2.5+ hours.

Rebecca E.

Yelp
Super friendly service from a fellow American with a kind heart & charming attitude. Their tiramisu is mindblowingly good as well as their wine selection. Our server even gave us a handwritten list of local recommendations as we were leaving

Belinda B.

Yelp
We stopped in with no reservation and the host was able to accommodate us before a reservation at 8:30 for a quick bite. He and the wait staff were so friendly and helpful. The tapas were delicious and they had a great wine list. And the vibe was really nice. This would be regular place for me if I lived in Paris.

Jonathan R.

Yelp
Great little neighborhood spot serving organic and all natural French wines and charcuterie. Smoked tuna was exceptional, duck rilletes, lomo de bellota, fromage de chèvre all went down easy with a nice Gigondas...

Kim S.

Yelp
Awesome dessert crepes and cider! I don't think you can go wrong with any of the desert crepes, and I was disappointed we didn't come back for breakfast another day! A great way to end the night, but looks like we were lucky to find a seat so quickly! This place filled up quick.

Yelp
We arrived early, by Paris standards, at 7:00 pm and it was just the right time on a Sunday night as we took one of the last two-person tables. 10 other people were comfortably lounging and a table of 8 arrived for a reserved table the same time as us. We were greeted by a tattooed dude who asked, with a Southern California accent, "so you know the drill, right? Everything is cold, charcuterie and cheese, except the mashed potatoes." We said "yes" as that was exactly what we were hoping for. And just as quickly and as friendly as we had been greeted, he turned to address the group of 8 in flawless French. Does that matter? Not much, but if you're more comfortable with English, it helps. Our host was extremely helpful and took the time to recommend selections of cheese and terrines along with a wonderful bottle of champagne. This, while working with only a chef in the kitchen to take care of 20 people. How does he do it? Incredible fresh food, fine wines and a vibe that is committed to taking care of his customers. Arrive early, as they may decide to 'stop' accepting new guests on a Sunday to ensure those whom they are serving get the very best.

Yelp
My wife and I have been in France for ten days, and our meal at La Grande Cremerie was the best. Very fresh food, excellent wine recommendation, and lovely, casual ambience. My favorite dishes were the Mortadella Ravioli Pistachio (divine) and Salade Fraiche. My wife's favorite was the Truffle Sausage. If you are looking for great food, shareable small plates, in relaxing atmosphere, I am not sure there is a better place in Paris. The server recommended we order three sharing plates, which was enough. It was all so good, we could not resist the temptation to try two more.

Charles D.

Yelp
Very nice place to have tapas with "plateaux de charcuterie & plateau de fromage". Food was fresh and delicious. Staff was also nice and kind. Ambient is cool and the restaurant is well located next to Odeon metrostation The cons : not a lot of place to have a big dinner.. The table are small and space is not that huge

Irene D.

Yelp
French food for when you are sick of French food. I have been here countless times. There is a great wine list so be prepared to share a bottle (or not....). Service is always on point and they are happy to advise. They serve a range of charcuterie, pâtés, terrines, etc. of all animal origins. I love the duck rillette and black pudding, but everything is good and portions quite generous. There is a selection of cheeses, a few very simple salads and crusty bread to round out your meal. A small dessert menu is also available (great tiramisu, when available). If you haven't noticed already, everything is served cold or at room temperature. Avoid if you are vegan, craving hot soup or hate sharing food. Make a reservation!

Yelp
Awesome wine bar with great cheese/charcuterie and excellent service. We came based on the great reviews and the reviews were on point. It's on a cute side street just off a crowded, touristy-ish square. Decor was perfect. The place specializes in wine & "non-cooked" foods (charcuterie, cheese, pates) and is lined with all of those things, almost like a small grocery. We sat at a high top in the back near the bar. It was a pretty diverse crowd - couples, friends, tourists, locals, etc. When our waiter realized that we spoke English, he switched over to a completely American accent. We found out he was a relocated Californian. He was super friendly and gave us some great ordering tips. We went with a bottle of wine and a mixed charcuterie/cheese plate. It was DELICIOUS. While this place is English/tourist-friendly, it doesn't feel touristy at all. If we ever moved to Paris, this is somewhere we'd definitely come back to for a date night.

Yelp
I wanted to give this place a higher rating but simply can't solely based upon service. My girlfriend is a picky eater and I should have known better than to bring her here. The food was good if a little pricey. My problem stems from the way the ride prick responded to my girlfriends complaint. He was snotty, arrogant and condescending to say the least. He could have handled the situation much better, in the manner his female counterpart did. I felt so uncomfortable after this exchange....never again!

Ivor H.

Yelp
This is a splendid wine bar with good food and super friendly and knowledgable staff. It has a romantic couples vibe, with most tables set for two, but I think it is best shared with a group so you can experience more of that delicious menu. Tapas style dishes, cheese and charcuterie plates, and truly wonderful pates, at reasonable prices for the quality. Menus are presented in vinyl album sleeves and the music is very very cool. Very thoughtful designer industrial interior, and great lights. It's a good space to spend time in, casual but special.

Yelp
This is a truly special treat in Paris. The food is simply fantastic. This establishment showcases smoked meats, smoked fish (salmon, sardines, others), foie gras and cheese. With the exception of Barney Greengrass in NYC, this restaurant has the best smoked salmon I have ever tasted. They offer several different homemade types of foie gras, all of which are excellent. The plate of smoked meats is off the charts great with some of the smoothest, most silky Iberian ham I have ever tasted. The cheese selection is also extra-ordinary and they have an outstanding selection of French wines and are happy to make suggestions. If you want to try something really special, this place stands out; but know that they don't have 'hot' foods, they are serving smoked specialties, foie gras and cheese that is to die for. Enjoy!

Ryan A.

Yelp
Place is unbelievable. If you're from the US, the bartender is from San Diego and can randomly drop the French and go into surfer dude mode. I highly suggest! Was a great way to try a bunch of different things in a perfect environment.

John S.

Yelp
This is a great spot for cheese and charcuterie! We were helpfully warned by the staff that there was only cold food on the menu but had a wonderful meal of smoked salmon, fresh salads (the recommended tomato salad was particularly incredible), cheese, hams, and dried sausage and delicious warm toasted bread. There was a small but good list of diverse wines by the glass. Make sure you don't skip dessert. The chocolate mousse was flavorful and not too sweet, the plain cheesecake was the amazing, and tiramisu was awesome, so be sure to save some room.

William G.

Yelp
Yes to everything! This might be the wine talking (to a certain extent) but yes to everything! Wine was young and amazing! ( red and white; and I hate white wine!) food was awesome! The fresh tomato salad was worth every penny! I'm gunna come back again sober tomorrow and review again just to make sure. So far, best stop in Paris!

Jacob C.

Yelp
Not a very good experience. The waiter was not very helpful, not very tourist friendly. Atmosphere was just okay.

Brian D.

Yelp
What a find! I just saw this place on yelp and saw that it was a wine bar. We picked it more for that. Turns out it is also a badass eatery. =] As they told us when we walked in the door they only serve cold dishes. We gorged on a variety of meats and cheeses. All were amazing. I especially liked the Iberian meats variety dish. So good! Their English was okay but several times we were left wondering exactly what we had actually ordered. I am 100% sure we were the only non-French people there which I thought was kind of neat.

Mike W.

Yelp
Excellent service. Server Fabrice really helpful. Speaks perfect English since he is from California. The charcuterie, terrines, and fromage were perfect. Really enjoyed the menus which were old album covers.

Laura D.

Yelp
Outstanding. Super cool atmosphere without being too cool for school. Lovely for a dinner. Organic, local, fresh. We had green salads (big beautiful bowls of fresh lettuce), smoked tuna medallions with creme fraiche, and an excellent cheese plate. All plates are for the table, but are generous portions. The vanilla cream caramel with salted butter dessert was simple, utterly perfect and the stuff of legends. We are so glad we went! The waiter (owner? Manager?) lived in So. California but is of French parentage, so was fluent in a French and English--if that feels more welcoming for travelers. My mother and I couldn't be happier with our meal.

Mark D.

Yelp
We visited here for dinner one night during our recent vacation. The atmosphere and staff were incredibly friendly. The waiter tolerated or inability to speak french incredibly well and provided great suggestions on the menu. We ordered about 6 different small plates of meats, seafood, cheese, and veggies, and everything we ordered was delicious. The place was extremely crowded for a weekday night.

Jesse G.

Yelp
The food was good, and the atmosphere is nice, albeit a bit stuffy with a very heavy garlic smell. The service is what gives Le Grande Cremerie only two stars - while the staff was very nice, the food is all charcuterie and cheese, the service was very very slow. We asked both the waiter and waitress for bread each three times, and finally had to go to the bar and bring it back to the table. If you are in no rush and don't mind really slow service and don't want hot food, it would be a nice evening. It is a wine bar, but for total variety be prepared to order a bottle.

Derek S.

Yelp
Love this place! Perfect pairings and wine. Great place. Not too loud. Not to quiet.
