Had a great time in this restaurant. The interior really creates a nice and cosy atmosphere. We had some issues with our reservation but the nice staff helped us out. The food is great and very filling. Would really recommend everything cheese related. A real must try when in Besançon. But reserve your table in advance. Even on a Monday they are fully booked.

Big french restaurant with a big menu for various dishes. We had the fondue, salmon and gratin. All pretty good, but quite heavy. The stuff barely spoke English and the menu was only in french. Nice place, but bit pricey. It gets really crowded, so better get a reservation.

We had some difficulties to order, but a waiter helped us. The food was good.

Loved this! Great fondue and no minimum people (so just me). I added potatoes and a salad and it was super delicious.

The restaurant is nice, it is located close to the center of the city. Inside tables and chairs are made by wood, it looks like a mountain retreat. I took a plate of different kind of meat (chicken, duck, beef) to be cooked on a very hot grill. The meat was tasty and it looked fresh. As side dish I had different sauces and french fries. I took a red wine from the region, it was good choice with the meat. As a dessert I had a a tarte tatin (a bit different from the usual one) , it was quite good. The service was nice and fast. I left the restaurant satisfied with my lunch.

This is a traditional country restaurant with the most sublime steak...at a standard price! Very highly recommended. We had steak every day... to piss off the vegetarian in the group.... and this was the best!

Its a bit out of the center but its worth the walk. The service is friendly, the food is good and the prices are reasonable.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere! The waitress was very helpful in recommending the most typical dishes and explaining them. We had a cheese and a chocolate fondue, which were exquisite! I'd totally recommend this place.
