La Gritta

Went there during my holidays to surprise my partner. In general, vibes were nice but sadly there wasnt any sunset at this area. Dining next to the beach was therapeutic and the view was definitely a great bonus. Getting hold on the service staff was really difficult even though it was just a few tables. Not sure if there is anyone that was suppose to station outside as half of the time they were inside the restaurant. Food was slightly above average I would say. We sat there pretty long and the complimentary bread came quite awhile later. We didnt even receive any olive oil or vinaigrette to pair the bread with (we were suppose to receive it). I had the magherita which was okay. Wouldnt say it’s super authentic, but I do still enjoy it. Had the bruschetta classica, tomatoes were fresh and thats about it. Should have ordered something with cheese on it that could elevate the dish a little bit. For pasta wise, I had the ravioli al granchio. The dish that stood out to me and I do enjoy every bite of it. It was full of crab and it was not too heavy on the palate. It was done really well. I also had the mafaldine, this was pretty much basic with just tomato base and lobster. Pasta was al dente and it tasted pretty much 1 dimension. Had tiramisu afterwards and this is not bad. However the cream layer on top is a little bit too much and didnt feel like the whole dish was balanced out. But other than that, it was creamy and rich. Only giving a 4 star due to lack of service and attention. Could work on it. :)

In one word, it is truly magnificent. We chose it for our anniversary and we were very pleased. Ms. Namcha was very attentive and provided good service. You can make a reservation without thinking, the kitchen chefs, everything is great. Especially the pizza and pasta are amazing. Thank you very much.

We had wonderful valentines dinner at La Gritta. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. We will definitely come back. It was a bit pricey but definitely worth trying. We spent $200 on Australia dollars per head, but it was delicious 😋

We went as a couple Monday night 10/3. Our reservation was for 6.30 pm as i wanted to see the sunset whilst eating. We didn’t see the sunset due to position of the dining area but the views were amazing nonetheless. The food and service was good. They charge an extra 17% on the total bill for service and vat. For drinks 1 starter shared mains and a side of spinach it came to £94. This is pricey for Thailand, but was worth a trip to the Amari hotel to enjoy.

We had a great time with the family celebrating my daughter’s graduation, nice areas and delicious Italian food, good service and welcoming staff.

✅ Pros: 1. One of the best views I've seen in my entire life! 2. Food's heavenly! Especially the freaking Focaccia!!! Wthell! 3. Gelato Pistachio is to die for!!!!! 4. They have hand made pasta! 5. Burrata Cheese on Pizza with Prosciutto! Magnificent! ❌ Cons: 1. N/A everything is euphoric Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Remarks: Specifically, Namcha, Mink, and Andrea are well accommodating! They're just welcoming and you'd really be happy how connected they are to you and even suggested a log of quality hidden local places! I couldnt stop compliments the focaccia bread cos it was everything to me!!! They're nice enough to even pack us complimentary ones and handed out coconut gelato for us to try cos it's well reco'd! The tiramisu according to Andrea is his grandmother's recipe. Nothing beats home-made from the heart! This is definitely a MUST TO VIISIT!

During our last night in Phuket, my friends and I decided to book this place last minute and boy were we glad we did so. It was busy and packed when we arrived for our booking that they had to make a table up in-front of their service station. Food was good, we enjoyed the starters and the soups each had was very filling. Then our mains came, the Tagliatelle Al Granchio was quite disappointing, the pasta texture wasn’t as great despite knowing it’s fresh. The sauce didn’t really stand out either as it did not really cling to the pasta. Even so, the Carbonara was good, the Risotto Alla Milanese and Chicken Thigh dish was also tasty but we were just too full to finish it all as the portions were huge! Highly suggest if you want good quality Italian food, also best to book in advance.
