La Guanaca is a gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. We were seated immediately, and our waiter greeted us with a warm, joyful demeanor. Alex was polite, friendly, and attentive, making us feel right at home as she handed us the menus. We began our meal with the Tuna ceviche and garlic bread, and they were nothing short of heavenly. For our main course, we opted for the pizza with pineapples and mozzarella cheese and it was a masterpiece. The pizza arrived piping hot, with a crust that struck the perfect balance—not too thick, not too thin, but just right. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, making every bite a delight. To complement our meal, we sipped on refreshing cocktails, which was the ideal accompaniment to the rich and savory dishes. What truly impressed us was the value for money. The prices are very fair, especially considering the high quality of the food. The atmosphere at La Guanaca is casual, lively, and welcoming, making it a great spot for diners of all ages. Overall, our experience at La Guanaca was exceptional. It’s a meal we’ll remember fondly from our time in Puerto Natales. If you’re looking for delicious food, great service, and a comfortable vibe, this is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Excellent pizza and excellent service. We ordered two pizzas and both were very yummy. They only offer one size which is 30cm cut into 8 slices. 2-3 pizzas was enough for four people. We also ordered drinks and the portions were huge. Definitely recommend.

Loved the vibe of this place! They have plenty of food and drink options with both Spanish and English menus. The location is convenient and just a few minutes walk from the neighborhood we stayed at. Highly recommend trying their Margherita pizza and pesto-walnut pasta.

My second visit was horrendous, and the staff added tip to my bill without asking and responded rudely when I said no. First visit I was impressed with ribeye medium that was done perfectly, as well as the green sauce smeared balancing on the plate not on the meat. The service attentive & atmosphere cosy, so I left tip at the end of my meal. As a new fan, I returned the next night but was shocked how different the dining experience could be. The steak was overcooked at the edge, so the meat near the charred were extremely dry & tough, in fact the whole steak was hard to chew without having the steak to sit before serving. All the juice ran all over the plate instead of inside the meat. This time, the green sauces were dotted randomly on top of the steak while having inedible big salt blocks on the plate by themselves. I actually can understand that the food quality can be hard to maintain under different shifts in the kitchen. What really turned me off was that when I finally finished my meal, the bill presented to me already included tip. I noticed the amount difference and pointed to the spanish words in the bill to ask what that was, and the waitress shouted “tip!” to me in a barbaric manner. I responded no tip this time, then she proceed to change the amount, dropped the machine on the table to let me complete the process myself without ever communicating with me again. It’s very unfortunate to see the effort that were put into my first experience to make me want to return again had gone to waste, but I really think it’s important to leave a honest review to warn others.

I ate here twice during my stay because I loved it so much! I had the lamb, the frozen berry lemonade, and a pizza, and loved all three. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they offered a comfortable setting. Thank you for treating me like family!
