This beach restaurant is absolutely delicious and a great spot to enjoy with your family. It has a mellow vibe during the first seating, making it perfect for a relaxed meal. Afterward, you can grab some sun beds and chill by the beach, which is absolutely gorgeous. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel so welcome. The food is amazing—the lobster pasta is a standout, the fish is super fresh, and the crudités are crisp and refreshing. We’ve been here a few times and love it every single time. Highly recommended!

I had the most amazing 50th birthday experience at La Guerite on Thursday with my group of 20! La Guerite SAVED THE DAY! My friends and family had ferried over to St Barths with reservations at Nikki Beach but when we arrived they were not open yet and they dismissed us and told us to wait on the public beach with nowhere to sit and no water in 85 degree heat! La Guerite gladly took all 20 of us in! They provided cabanas and beach loungers for my entire group! Then they set us up with no notice and we had an amazing meal! They even had a table for our bags! The service was amazing just beyond beyond my expectations!!! We had family style service of filet sea bass, chicken, tomahawk steaks, margherita pizza, shrimp, calamari, ricotta with truffle- EVERYTHING TASTED AMAZING!!!! Then we had magnums of champagne! The staff was AMAZING! ESPECIALLY MATILDA!!!! Matilda and the team gave me the most memorable 50th birthday celebration ever! The DJ was also great! He READ THE ROOM! Love him too! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LA GUERITE!!! They were exceptional! 10/10!

Let me start off by saying I have not been to France or Europe or yet, however I’ve always imagined that this is the closest thing to it. We Took an early morning ferry from Saint Maarten so we arrived as they were opening. Everyone was super friendly, very accommodating. I have not visited France or Europe yet, but I’m already deeply grateful for the love they put into their cuisine. We were served with some of the freshest bread I’ve ever tasted to pair with real fresh pressed olive oil and sea salt to enjoy. They even brought out fresh olives with the seeds in them to snack on. Now to some this may not be a big deal but I really appreciate the freshness of the ingredients. My main dish was the Gnocchis A La Tomate Frachie and my wife ordered the Pates La Guerite which both were chefs kiss. The entire staff was super nice and made sure enjoyed our dining experience. After lunch we ordered bottle service and 2 day beds and enjoyed the remainder of the day swimming and laying out. Absolutely one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

La Guérite Beach aesthetics was nice and pleasing to the eye. Our service could’ve been better we noticed that the waitress brought out our bread and that’s it but for other guest around us she placed the bread and prepared the olive oil plate for them. Also we asked about beach chairs and was told they were fully booked and the only option they had available was a cabana which was 300. We wanted to enjoy the beach so we went on a purchase a cabana, because it was my friend’s birthday. We noticed that the beach beds they claimed to be fully booked that were 100 was never occupied and we were there from 12pm-5:30pm. Also after checking our bank statements they over charged us. Drinks were extremely over priced it was 25 dollars for a margarita that comes in a regular cocktail glass. My chicken was underwhelming and my zucchini side was thin raw slices. It was not sautéed and flavorful. My friend’s lobster pasta was 150 once again extremely overpriced for the portion size. I think the waitress could’ve did something nice for my friend’s birthday and for a 300 cabana it should’ve came with something.

The service here was disappointing. We reserved 10 front row daybeds in celebration of a milestone birthday and traveled from St. Maarten arriving shortly after 11am. We were one of the first guests to arrive. We had lunch reservations for 12:30p. Around 11:15a, there was a torrential downpour of rain. Clearly, weather was out of their control so no fault of theirs. They did seat us early in the empty restaurant to escape the rain, which was appreciated. We ordered appetizers and our entrees. We ordered a bottle of wine, and several specialty cocktails and champagne. The appetizers were good but most of us were disappointed with our main courses, including the lobster pasta. While deciding on dessert, we ordered shots to celebrate the birthday girl. We asked for another cocktail menu and were told we couldn't get one because they had second seating and we would have to get up soon. Since we couldn't go to the daybeds we reserved because it was still pouring rain, we asked what we would have to do to keep the table longer. The first server told us we would have to buy a bottle minimum 1000 EUR. We spoke to a manager who confirmed if we spent a minimum 1000 EUR on bottles we could stay for another two hours, which would have corresponded to when our driver was scheduled to pick us up. We agreed and then someone else, who didn't even introduce himself or give his title told us that we would have to spend a minimum of 5000 EUR. We explained that we just spoke with a manager, who told us a different minimum. We asked for clarification. He left and came back and said, it's actually a 6000 EUR minimum. At this point it felt discriminatory and an attempt to price us out based on their preconceived notions on what we were willing to spend. If they had said 6000 EUR initially, that would have been one thing, we would have discussed it and decided if we wanted to stay. But to give us a number, we agree to it and then increase that number twice in 5 minutes showed us they did not want our business. I will not mention any other confounding factors that I believe played a role, but it very much made us feel unwanted at their establishment. The food was mid and the music sucked. Will never return.
