La Hacienda Hotel

This place is absolutely unfit for human habitation. It’s infested with insects and mice, reeks of a disgusting odor, and is in a revolting state. The floors, walls, and tables are filthy, and the furniture is extremely old, broken, and uncomfortable. It’s a health hazard. Read the low-star reviews — the same complaints have been repeated over and over. The location is difficult to reach, and the host is dishonest, makes false promises, and has done nothing to improve the place. Avoid this nightmare at all costs. Honestly, sleeping on a sidewalk would be safer for your health than spending a single night in this place.

A Truly Relaxing Getaway in Nature I booked a one-night stay on a Sunday and it turned out to be the most relaxing experience! We stayed in the 'Butterfly' villa and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Sameer, who was incredibly kind and took the time to show us all the room's amenities. Hacienda is a beautiful retreat nestled in the mountains, surrounded by nature — the perfect place to disconnect from the hectic pace of life and truly unwind. The view from the villa is absolutely magnificent, and the breakfast served in a charming basket was a lovely touch. The only area that could use some improvement is cleanliness: the bedsheets and bed runner had some stains, and the pool could be better maintained. However, these were minor issues in an otherwise fabulous stay. A special thanks to Mr. Sameer for offering us a complimentary late checkout, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

The stunning panoramic views from this hilltop property are truly breathtaking and almost make up for the numerous shortcomings we encountered during our stay. Located in a prime spot overlooking the valley, the hotel's setting is its strongest selling point. However, be warned: accessing this view comes at a price. The steep hill leading to the property requires a vehicle with good power and reliable brakes - something to consider when booking. While the location is spectacular, the rooms unfortunately fell well below expectations, especially given the premium pricing. The facilities are showing significant wear and tear, with dated furniture and appliances that have seen better days. Our biggest issue was the persistent insect problem - we battled with ants and various bugs throughout our stay, finding them in our belongings and even on the beds. On a brighter note, the resident puppies were an unexpected delight, providing endless entertainment for our children. These friendly four-legged hosts were definitely a highlight of our stay. We spent 10 days here on our honeymoon and we can only recommend it. Beautiful views, peaceful environment in beautiful nature. Yes, there were some negatives, such as older kitchen equipment, but the great attitude of the staff outweighed all of that. Kavi regularly asked if we had everything. My partner and I faced a very disappointing experience with the reservation of our stay at Hacienda, they didn’t follow up our booking and we had to find another place last minute because of their lack of professionalism.

Very cosy lodge and amazing view. Well equiped with a kitchen and small terace with a view on the sea and the mountains the back. You will have a bed and breakfast option. You can park your car in front of the lodge but not very accesible for small cars. Recommended to use a double cab or an suv.

Such a wonderul and peaceful place to stay at! Kavi and his team are the best! Breakfast is served in a basket on the porch and contains so much nice food. We definately recommend this place ❤️

Cabañas in a remote location on a mountain slope. Lots of nature around and great views on the bay. The cottages have pleasant architecture. Some Mexican (!) design elements. Nice little pool with deckchairs. Friendly staff. Good Wifi. Good aircon. On the downside, the cottages need more than a coat of fresh paint. The windows have not been washed for some time and its best not to look into the corners. The room smelled a bit mouldy. The breakfast consisted of a basket with nothing great in it. Would not recomend it.
