Charming traditional family-style unassuming restaurant serving the freshest available fish from the Cantabrian coast and sea; all cooked following classic Basque recipes like pil-pil or bilbaína. Also famous for their fish soup, full of flavour. Located in the beautiful coastal town of Fuenterrabia/Hondarribia.

World's best soup. I came all the way here just to eat it. As a result, it was the best experience. Amazing cuisine, fresh, high quality seafood, simply prepared using Basque techniques. Soup only tastes of ingredients. It doesn't taste like seasoning. But it is rich enough. The staff handed me some salt, but it's not necessary at all. Cream and cheese are not used in spider crabs. It focuses on the flavors of crab and slow-roasted onions. Four flavors of Spanish croquettes. Crab croquettes are special. Bacalao's pil pil is surprisingly thick. The pil pil sauce is cloudy but without cream or cheese. So don't disturb the taste of Bacalao. All these dishes were excellent. However, there were other dishes to eat most at this restaurant. It's Bacalao tripe. Bacalao's gelatin-condensed dish is a delicious bomb. I highly recommend waiting to eat the bread until this dish reaches you. Because the sauce is exceptional. Great restaurants have amazing desserts. The combination of warm blue cheesecake and apple ice cream will take you to heaven. I want to try all the dishes in this restaurant. The food at this restaurant is so wonderful. Service staff are friendly. Kindness I will definitely travel and visit here again. At that time, the urge to eat the same dish again and the urge to try a dish that I have not experienced will definitely make me feel seductive.

Great restaurant. The soup, which is called the best soup in the world, does not seem to be wonderful at first glance. However, even though the saltiness is not strong, it is delicious and you will want to refill many cups. Other dishes are also great. I have traveled to San Sebastian, Pamplona and Bilbao and it is the best restaurant for me!

Very good simple cousine with big portions, very long menu and excellent service. I think one of the best restaurant in the city. Fresh fish, hake, octopus, and extra seasonal menu. Favorable pieces for such quality

We had an outstanding dinner of Monk fish at La Hermandad de Pescadores on a Saturday a little after 8 pm. All the tables were reserved for the night but we were asked if we could finish by 9:30 pm and they would fit us in. The seafood was excellent and the service was great. We had shrimp and salad as 1st courses , monk fish as the main course, and a bottle of wine for 75 euros.

Sadly not great. €8 for two pieces of bread. Service was amateurishly done and the room we were sat in was lit like an operating theatre 😎. The fish we had was fine.

Great little find. Amazing service and seafood! We ordered a few of the items on the specials list, amazing. The other dishes that went out to other diners looked awesome, especially the fish. Only some much you can eat!!! We didn’t reserve but fortunate to get a table for a couple hours (we got in just after 1pm) before a reserved guest was due.. the entire place was booked out and got busy very quickly around 3pm

Yelp
Lovely centuries old restaurant in hondarribia. We enjoyed seasonal turbot and their lovely fish soup, highly recommended by others. Service was at long, communal tables, whote tablecloths atop. Prices were very fair for the finest quality.
