La Hostería Boutique Hotel

Spectacularly beautiful hotel in heart of Arequipa, across from Santa Catalina Convent. Rooms are comfortable and service is great. I highly recommend the restaurant as well. Breakfast in the patio was a delight, and each day I lingered next to the gigantic bougainvilia.

This is a lovely hotel, based in an old building with rooms round a courtyard. The route to my bedroom was not straightforward, however, and the bathroom in my room was quite small. There is no lift.|Breakfast is in the courtyard. |There is a restaurant on site, excellent food the night I ate there.

Very accessible to all the scenic spot. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very very beautiful. The only drawback is that the shower water temp was not that stable.

This is a beautiful hotel with lots of wonderful features and situated in a great location. |The staff were excellent and very hardworking and nothing was too much trouble for them. The massage ladies in the Spa were fabulous. ||The only reason I have given it 4* instead of 5* is because I got salmonella food poisoning from the chicken goujon meal we had in the restaurant on our last evening - ended up with me having to be hospitalised and on an IV line for 3 days. Please check your kitchen procedures as I don’t want anyone else to have to deal with this situation as it pretty much wiped me out for the rest of my trip including Machu Picchu which is a great shame.

Wonderful flower filled courtyards with views of the surrounding mountains. Lots of communal seating areas and terraces. However we had no hot water on multiple occasions. Staff fixed issue when reported but then it quickly reappeared again. There was also a bad damp smell in the bathroom, probably from the drains. Staff were very apologetic and said they would ensure the issue would be fixed. Otherwise everything was really great.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and located in a perfect spot. We got one of the best rooms with a great view. And the rooftop in this hotel has a gorgeous view of all three volcanoes surrounding the city. An awesome spot to view sunrise. The concierge is great too. They packed us lunch for 2 days that we were leaving early for tours. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a beautiful boutique place to stay in Arequipa.

Had lunch here with friends and with my pregnant partner, and the staff was incredibly accommodating towards her. Once our food was served, we got so into it that taking the typical instashots was the last thing on my mind. I recommend the pepper lomo, and my partner loved the grilled octopus. Definitely one of the best grilled octopus dishes I've tried. Top notch service, excellent food, and a locale full of history and attention to aesthetics.

Extremely well located little gem of a hotel. Beautiful courtyard, lush greenery and view, and good rooms. However for the price you pay, we were quite upset about the level of service, attention and care. The breakfast is not that exciting, noone from the staff interacted with us to serve us, ask us if we are comfortable or greet us in the morning. To a point where we chose to have breakfast outside the next morning to get more good morning vibes. On another hand, if you need your peace and quiet in a marvelous spot, than I would recommend it!!
