Simply the friendliest place I have ever stayed in. Nathalie and Pierre are the most welcoming hosts you could ever wish for. The rooms are small but beautifully done. Every aspect of the hotel is undertaken with thoughtfulness and care. The is a true home from home. The breakfast is great. The courtyard beautiful. We loved the menagerie of animals (a super well behaved dog, cats and even a friendly seagull pair). The hotel is super near the beach and a short 15 minute walk into old Nice itself. Nathalie is always there with helpful advice and input. The pool is “indoors” but has a lovely feel because it is inside the original walled buildings and has windows to the outside - and the water is super warm! We cannot recommend this place more highly. If you want to escape the homogenised world of corporate hotels or the soulless key code rooms with no human contact - this is the place for you. We cannot wait to return.

Bonjour, We stayed here on our honeymoon and had the best time. La Jabotte is an oasis in the hustle and bustle of Antibes. Nathalie and Pierre are amazing the pup and kitties add a warm feel.(even the seagulls that come looking for their afternoon snack) we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The pool is perfect and you are in walking distance to anything you need. The hotel is also situated in the middle of everything, so getting around to places like Cannes, Nice or Monaco are very easy. If you rent a car make sure to let them know and reserve a parking spot. Parking can be challenging all over France and Antibes is no different. When we come back to France we will be staying at La Jabotte. Merci for taking such good care of us.

Decided to spend the last days after a long conference seeking relaxation, peace and quiet. This hotel did not disappoint! Nathalie and her family were so pleasant and helpful from check in to check out. The place is clean and well-appointed for a peaceful stay. It’s small and in an amazing location for food and a quick walk down to the beach, so it’s easy to both engage and disengage from the world quickly. I hope you like animals, because they have the cutest ones hanging around to say hello. Do book and do enjoy! I can’t wait to come back.

What a special and welcoming place! Unique and thoughtfully decorated to be a peaceful and comfortable oasis, just a stone’s throw from the beach and situated perfectly between the cape and the old town. Our lovely hosts Nathalie and Pierre made us feel so welcome, and I think it was a top ten sleep for me! Plus- breakfast in the garden with a friendly, sunbathing dog is truly perfect way to begin the day. Thank you!

This was a great place to stay ideally located just 15 mins from the old town but opposite a sandy beach and close to the cap D’antibes . We had a first floor room with balcony which was perfect and we loved having a drink in the pretty garden before heading out to dinner . Natalie and Pierre were so friendly in wanting to make our visit special and it was like having a printer chauffeur whenever we needed a taxi

We just loved our stay at La Jabotte! What made it special was the warm welcome from Nathalie and the her gang of animal friends! The hotel itself is cute, quirky and small with a lovely friendly and relaxed ambience. There are only 6 rooms so it feels very intimate and cosy. We were there during some totally random weather (storms, rain etc) and we still had a fabulous time. We used the little heated indoor pool and enjoyed our leisurely breakfasts in the courtyard ( lovely fresh food). We were in an upper room (no 1) overlooking the courtyard with a little patio overlooking the side ( with tiny sea view) and our adult daughters shared room 6 in the courtyard ( their room had a lovely bathroom). The bedrooms are small but have a decent bed and reasonable storage. Our room (1) had a sitting room too- so plenty of space generally. As such a small hotel it would be perfect for a group of people to stay and have it to themselves. We love cats and all animals so the resident dog ( Tya - a very lovely and well behaved dog) and the various cats (3) were an added bonus for us. They do not come near rooms and are very low key. Nathalie is one of the warmest and most helpful hoteliers I have ever met! She is always on hand and she made our stay special. (Pierre her husband is lovely too). The hotel is in a perfect location, only 2/3 mins from a beach (with kiosks etc) and about 15 mins stroll into the old town. No car needed. Perfect! We will be back- hopefully in better weather 😂

The hotel is pleasant, however there are some unexpected rules. There is a note on the entrance door to the effect that guests are not to bring outside food into the hotel. There is a booklet In the room which outlines Dos and Dont's. This includes eating food or drink in the room and hanging clothes in the bathroom. If you have food you are asked to give it to staff for refrigeration and eat it off-site. I booked their taxi for pick up from the Nice airport and was charged an additional €15 because my plane arrived 18 minutes late. I knew I would be charged if my flight was late, and recommend others pick up a taxi at the airport since flights are often a few minutes late.

This hotel is a real oasis. We spent 5 days of our honeymoon there. It is so romantic, calm and beautiful. Natalie and Pierre are so lovely. We felt welcomed and appreciated. Everyday we had nice chats during our wonderful breakfast and when returning from the beach. The location is great too, as one is so close to the beach and the old town. Also the tuktuk tour with Pierre’s Arpe is a total recommendation. We we’ll be back. Bisous Michaela und Sebastian

Yelp
Homey, quiet, laid-back elegance. Staff most helpful & responsive. Two minutes walk from waterside. 15-20 minutes walk to the old town, mostly along a pleasant boardwalk. Couldn't be more pleased. It was a nice surprise find searching less expensive spots at Antibes, to spend 4 nights before returning home from Nice airport.

Yelp
My sincere apologies to our former hosts; Yves, Claude and Tommy (the precocious Westie). This review is nearly a year over due. My man and I landed upon this adorable B&B by accident and good karma. We arrived in Antibes with no reservation, as we chose to travel through Europe with 2 passports, a GPS device (affectionately named Gladys) and a rental car. Hotel la Jabotte was a property recommended by Rick Steve's in one of his books, but the book's description did not pay it justice. First, I wanted (still do) to be best friends with Yves and Claude and perhaps figure out a job in the property that would afford me the lifestyle they live daily in charming Antibes. Since that did not happen and I am back to reality, I feel compelled to mention that this was my favorite property of all the hotels we stayed at throughout Europe. It was far from the most expensive, but not the least expensive of the properties we paid patronage. Warm, accommodating, thoughtful details, affordable but not lacking, with a wonderful location.... I awoke in the morning to enjoy the complimentary and delicious breakfast, but my husband was not feeling well. Claude noticed he did not join me. I wrapped up, headed back to the room to take a shower, and when I emerged.... Claude had set up a special breakfast on the patio outside our room for my husband to enjoy! Fantastic and unsolicited service. Thank you Hotel la Jabotte for creating an everlasting memory for us! Cheers!

Yelp
My husband and I recently enjoyed a lovely stay at this adorable B&B. We stayed in the main house as the beds are slightly larger there (I believe). Although tight, the rooms were pretty, clean, well appointed, (hair dryer provided) which I especially appreciated as I know converters can burn out US dryers pretty fast. No AC, but hard to find that anywhere in France. Open windows and fan did the trick. Free breakfasts were provided each morning in the plant and flower-filled picturesque courtyard - delicious and hearty: bread basket with croissants, Nutella, butter, jam; yogurt; juices/coffee/tea; fresh fruit; pastry. Yum! At cocktail time, you could purchase their cocktail of the day or have a beer or wine, munchies included. Claude and Yves were wonderful hosts and very willing to provide suggestions for places to tour and eat. All excellent. Super relaxed: they are located 1/2 block from a nice, sandy beach and provided beach chairs and mats to take to the beach. We also met some nice people also from Canada, Britain and the states mostly.Totally charming. Great value.
