Delicious dumplings and XLB’s. Prices are reasonable and the skin is leakproof! No juices spilled out the Xiao Long Baos and the Potstickers/Pan Fried Dumplings. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh.

Google
Great food! Ordered the XP dumpling. Its pretty good for the area. The onion pancake was delish too. I would ask to make it a bit more crispier next time. Overall, a great dining place. A typical taiwanese restaurant with great dumplings.

Google
I was excited to come and try the steam buns as well as the other dishes. The menu is very limited which is understandable for the small space. I ordered the pork stem bun, the red bean paste bun, and Dan Dan noodles. The pork bun wasn't hot at all is was luke warm and the meat inside was like a big piece of meat. The Bun to meat ratio was off as you can see in the picture all of the extra bun. The red bean paste had a raw dough taste as if it wasn't steamed also came out luke warm. My noodle soup was okay it could have definitely used more seasoning. I wish the meat was grounded up in the pork bun I believe it would have made a big difference. It was just okay.

Google
Honestly amazing. Quickest service I've probably ever had and the food was incredible! The noodles were juicy and had a great texture, very bouncy and chewy in your mouth. Seafood stock was delicious. Soup dumplings were delicious. Custard buns.... incredible! Every table was taken when we went in and the food was reasonably priced and very filling. Will definitely go back!

Google
Excellent food! We tried several dumplings and buns, as well as the Dan Dan noodles, and pop corn chicken and scallion pancakes. Everything was piping hot and delicious and came out extremely fast! We will definitely be back!

Google
Surprisingly tasty and authentic. It is tucked away in the corner so we were not sure of it's quality but it was great! It is hard to find good juicy pork dumplings and we had it in our backyard in Claremont the whole time! Each dish was good and not one was a letdown. Will definitely recommend to my friends and neighbors in Claremont!

Google
Food is delicious. It’s a hole in the wall kind of place. We got popcorn chicken, pork xiaolongbao, and chicken fried rice. It was delicious! My daughter says “it’s like Din Tai Fung.” We got seated right away and food came out in a timely manner. We also got the Dan Dan noodles to go. We will definitely come back and bring the rest of my family.

Google
Their dumplings are so flavorful and their prices are so affordable! I always order the pork xiao long baos and also recommend the pan fried pork dumplings, any of the wonton dishes, and the cucumber salad! Out of their dessert buns I like their sesame buns the best, then the sweet custard, then the red bean. I don't order them as much because I get too full on savory dumplings, but really recommend getting them if you have room. They usually don't have any music playing, but the foos comes out so fast that I don't mind the silence in the restaurant, which is only the case when no other patrons are seated. Xiao Long Bao - so juicy, so flavorful, perfect amount of filling. I love these so much and they are definitely my favorite dish from here! 10/10 Pan Fried Pork Dumplings - very juicy for a pan fried dumpling, but somehow still so crispy! 9.5/10 Wonton Soup - I prefer their wonton soup over their spicy ones because it's much more flavorful with the broth! 9/10 Dan Dan Noodles - so flavorful, packed with meat, great sharing dish! I always order it if I'm eating with 3+ others 9/10 Cucumber Salad - Love how the cucumbers aren't too vinegar tasting as I don't enjoy pickle flavors much, but definitely add some soy sauce and chili oil to make the dish even tastier 8.5/10 Spicy Wontons - I wish there was more flavor added than just spicy for their spicy wontons, and their not as spicy as I would like 8/10

Yelp
Favorite restaurant in the area and dare I say best Chinese / dim sum I've ever had. I have introduced this place to 20 people and they all agree with this.

Yelp
Yum! Got the chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice, and spicy wontons. Super delicious. Order to go , price was reasonable and was ready pretty quickly! My favorite out of the three would be the chicken chow mein. The seasoning was so flavorful and the noodles were perfect. Least favorite would be spicy wontons. It was still nice but just not the best that I've had! Still enjoyed I look forward to eating here again!!

Yelp
Quiet place in Claremont. Ordered Dan Dan Noodles and Pork XLB. The noodles were a little disappointing. The portion of meat was a joke. I asked if they could give me more and I didn't care how much it was but they said they couldn't. XLB was juicy and the dumpling skin wasn't too thick. Service is quick and food comes out quickly. Good for a quick meal with authentic Asian flavors.

Yelp
coming in here gives nice rainy day food. this is a homey vibed small restaurant in a small lot with a few other restaurants and a spa nearby. service was good the lady was very nice and very prompt. you are given a pitcher of water and cups. the food also comes out very fast. as for flavor, this isn't your typical taiwanese cuisine. i haven't had a non oily light colored beef noodle soup but here i did. and it was very good i enjoyed it. the xiao long bao had a good amount of soup inside that burst when you bite it. they also give you ginger and vinegar and soy sauce to dip your dumplings which made them very yummy tasting. i do wish however that the wonton was more flavor and with the spice like maybe a salty flavor, was a little bland, it definitely needed to be dipped in sauce and eated with ginger. as for the xiao long bao i like to dip them in broth so having the noodle soup to couple with it was very nice. i recommend dipping your dumplings and wontons in broth before eating because it tastes yummier. average dish price is $11-$13 good price overall would come back.

Yelp
Noodle and dumplings definitely hand made here. They are not quick service frozen food kind of place. Everything made out fresh ingredients from scratch. I've seen them in action in their kitchen (which is kinda weird that people have to walk through their entire kitchen to reach bathroom). Flavor wise I don't think it's anything to write home about. It's very hohum. But can't really complaint since I can't find another Chinese restaurant like this within 30 min drive radius..

Yelp
Located in a small plaza next to another Chinese restaurant. I was in the plaza waiting for a to-go order from the Filipino restaurant near by when I saw this place. Small seating area inside and they had a good amount of people eating inside. I decided to get their xiao long bao, popcorn chicken, and pan fried dumplings to try. They had 8 pieces of xiao long bao and they were pretty juicy inside. Their popcorn chicken was juicy inside with a crispy batter that was not too thick. It was seasoned nicely with a good portion size. My family liked the xiao long bao and the pan fried dumplings. Closed Tuesdays.

Yelp
Came in at 8:20 PM, knowing the place closes at 9. We were immediately told they'd only take one round of ordering, which was fair but from that point on, the entire experience felt rushed and uncomfortable. The staff's tone and body language came off as annoyed. Dishes were set down hastily and carelessly, with little regard for presentation or courtesy. As more customers walked in, we overheard staff telling them they had to be finished eating by 9 PM, no exceptions. Unfortunately, our food didn't arrive until 8:45, so we were essentially forced to inhale it just to comply. The check came quickly, and the server snatched it up with such urgency that it actually knocked over one of our cups. While trying to pack up leftovers, we felt watched and rushed, as if our presence was now an inconvenience. No matter how good the food might be, being pressured and made to feel unwelcome ruins the entire experience. Sadly, we won't be coming back.

Yelp
A small, simple place with tasty food! Scallion pancake was crispy and flakey. Soup dumplings are super fresh and tasty. Not too salty. Pan fried pork buns are fluffy and crispy on the bottom. Cucumber salad had a sweet soy garlic sauce. Everything made to order and delish!

Yelp
We ordered takeout (about 30 min wait on a Sunday night) and got three items. The restaurant itself is relatively small, clean, modern. The service is friendly. As for the food: Beef rolls - smaller and longer than I typically see, but still packed with flavor and would definitely get again! Shrimp and pork dumplings - fully stuffed and deeeelicious! Pan fried pork dumplings - the best and not oily! So happy a place like this opened in Claremont. Hope they stick around for a long time. Hiiiiighly recommended from what I tried!

Yelp
Solid food. A bit pricy for the portion amount. Don't come here if you are not okay with mediocre service. The best dish was the chow mein and the bok choi. The beef rolls were okay, the roll was crunchy on the outside but they were small. My sweet custard bun was not custard. When we split the bun in half, the custard was hard like the yolk from hard boiled egg. The dumplings were okay as well. They were not juicy and tastes a bit dry.

Yelp
Quick friendly service and great food! It's a small hole in the wall restaurant. There was only one server for the whole place and he was on top of it. We were seated right away and immediately brought out waters. The food came out quick too. I've never had Dan Dan noodles with soup before but it was delicious! Very rich and flavorful. This has become a regular spot for me.

Yelp
Let me start by saying oh my God it was delicious. Food was fresh and you could tell the quality was very good for the price. I couldn't believe the price was so low. I will definitely come back here again. Literally a mom and Pop run restaurant. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. The food is unbelievable. See my attached photos of the food.

Yelp
The hand-pulled noodle was the star of the show, but don't overlook the steamed dumplings. The broth of my beef noodle soup was flavorful without being too salty. My Ukrainian friend also enjoyed his wonton soup. He commented that the wonton soup is commonly served in Russian, since it shares a border with northern China. The interior was spacious, but some of the tables were too close to comfortably sit without bumping into the neighbor behind me. There's an outdoor table if you want to avoid being in an indoor space. My dog stayed in the car in the shade because she would probably bark at every passerby. Service was average, but the staff allowed us to use the employee bathroom in the kitchen, which was very kind and appreciated because we really needed it after a long hike in Mt. Baldy.

Christopher C.

Yelp
Excellent food, reasonable prices, what else can I say? Their beef roll is the best and so is their dumplings. Fried rice looks good. I will have to try it next time!

Yelp
I'm giving this place a 4 because the food was absolutely delicious--every dish was amazing! It's a quaint, tiny hole-in-the-wall spot with just one man running the front. I would recommend it solely for the food, but there were some off-putting aspects. At one point, the man serving the food was blowing his nose and cleaning it in plain view. He didn't seem concerned until he noticed me watching, at which point he rinsed his hands--but without using soap. That was pretty unsettling. On top of that, the water tasted like straight tap water, which wasn't great. However, the service itself was decent, and again, the food was fantastic. While I'm torn because of the nose-cleaning incident, the quality of the food makes it hard to dismiss this place entirely. I'm not sure I'd return, but for anyone who can overlook those things, the food is worth trying!

Disone L.

Yelp
I'm a returning customer. Dan Dan Noodles and Beef Rolls are my favorites! It is very clean inside and peaceful. The service was excellent.

Yelp
I was craving for the popcorn chicken and so happy that I tried this place. The portion is big and they made the best popcorn chicken that I have ever had. Every bites of the chicken were juicy, savory, well seasoned and crispy. Even the reheated leftover were still juicy and crispy. Service was average and the place is small but clean and cozy. I also tried the beef stew noodles soup and the fried bao. They were also delicious but the popcorn chicken was my favorite of all.

Yelp
Got my order to go. There food is more on the lighter and non salty side. Their dishes are good but not as authentic like in San Gabriel Valley. If you need Shrimp fried rice: Rice was pretty fluffy and I appreciate the dish overall was non greasy overall. There was about 5-6 medium size pieces of shrimp. I would order this compared to the beef fried rice. Beef fried rice: Pretty much same as the shrimp fried rice, but the beef is more on the softer side. I tend to prefer the beef to be cooked a little bit more crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Yelp
Wasn't expecting such good Chinese dumplings and noodles in Claremont! First, the dough textures were perfect--the noodles, dumpling skins, and steamed buns all had different textures and levels of firmness, and each one was just right. The xiao long bao were some of the best I've had anywhere, bursting with savory soup. The wonton noodle soup might have looked kind of plain, but wow--every sip of broth was packed with flavor. Fried rice was excellent, with plump shrimp and that hot-wok umami. Prompt, friendly service with ample seating and tables in a clean, simple, bright dining space. Can't wait to try more dishes next time.

Yelp
Delicious food and fast service! We ordered the pork xiao long bao, scallion pancake and beef noodle soup and they were all excellent! The broth wasn't too salty and the beef was tender.

Yelp
We had dinner here tonight and enjoyed it a lot. We had the cucumber salad, which I thought had a bitter taste to it but my husband like it. We also had the shrimp chow mein which was delicious. The shrimp were large and juicy and it was well seasoned. We lastly had the port potstickers which were also very good. The service was awesome and the restaurant was very clean and comfortable.
google avatar

Yelp
This is your typical local neighborhood Chinese joint. If these local eateries continue to just cook like this, I don't see how they're going to be able to compete against Panda express. At this point honestly customer service, quality of food and efficiency is superior at panda express so why would I pay to come and eat at a place like this? The chow mein was cold and tasted microwaved. The pork Xiao long bao was plain. The chili oil wonton was even more bland. This place does not believe in seasoning, tastes like there's no passion or heart in the cooking. Does the Cook even taste their own food? And don't even get me started on the customer service. I don't recommend this place at all. Go to Panda express.
google avatar

Yelp
Ahh so so good! This places picks up foot traffic after 5pm or so and the space is pretty small, you might have to wait outside for a table! Regardless, the only staff member who was working at the front was so quick and efficient. He was basically doing three people's jobs in one go. I think the food came out very quickly compared to other dumpling spots. They may not be freshly made on the spot but honestly, as long as they are still delicious, I don't care. The soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, fried rice, and green beans were so satisfying and filling. I did like the pork xlb over the chicken dumplings I ordered. But the chicken dumplings weren't bad. Soup dumplings always win me over due to how juicy they are. So delicious. Living near claremont for most of my life, I really appreciate that the inland area (past diamond bar/walnut) is getting more solid asian restaurants because it helps expands families' palates here and saves us the drive. I'm excited to come back here again.

Yelp
Stopped by on Saturday, 06/24/23 for the first time. I've been eyeing this place since there's a seldom amount of Chinese Restaurants around the Pomona/Claremont/surrounding areas. I ordered the following to-go: 1) 1 Pork Xiao Long Bao (steamed - 8 inside): $10.99 2) 1 Vegetable Dumpling (steamed - 8 inside): $10.99 3) 1 Sweet Custard Buns (2 inside): $6.99 4) 1 Sesame Buns (2 inside): $6.99 5) 1 Shrimp Fried Rice: $12.99 6) 1 Beef Chow Mein: $13.99 SUBTOTAL: $62.94 TAX: $5.98 TOTAL: $68.92 Very good food however I overly priced. Not as authentic as the San Gabriel Valley (SGV) restaurants but it is still delicious. Small family restaurant but the wait time was very minimal for me. You can also grab free hard candy up front after paying for your meal. Overall 3/5.

Frida V.

Yelp
Poor service and false advertisement. I placed an order online and drove to pick up my order, only to find out they don't even have this item anymore and gave me a completely different order with pork in it- I'm allergic to pork. So I had to drive back to the restaurant from home and when I got there and explained, they didn't offer any apologies and were extremely inconsiderate.

Yelp
This place is really formidable for our area and a relief to my Chinese family. We happily wolf down the beef roll (it's always stunning), the pork cabbage shrimp dumplings, the wonton soup - it's all great. We're just so delighted to have this in Claremont, an area that's been in desperate need of decent Chinese for ages. The family that owns it is from Shandong, and they make things geared for an American palate with a flair that is uniquely from their homeland. Definitely give them a try, I love it, and I know you will too. And support them with enthusiasm so they can stay around forever :3

Yelp
Shrimp fried rice is great. Shrimps are big and flavor is right on. Service and ambience are good.

Yelp
We usually take food out from LA Kung Fu Noodle. The workers are very helpful and efficient. They make it very easy to call-in our order. So far we have tried the Xiao Long Baos, Dan Dan noodles, Beef Rolls, Chicken Chow Mein, Seaweed and Egg Soup, Scallion Pancakes and Vegetable Egg Rolls...everything has been delicious. Looking forward to trying additional items.

Yelp
Silly name, but the food is legit. It's probably the most legit Asian restaurant in this area, although I generally don't come out to Claremont to eat Asian food. My family and I decided to venture out here today just for this place because my wife works near the area and wanted to see if this place is any good. It probably won't stand out if it's in SGV area, but I found the food to be quite good. I almost want to give this five stars, but just don't want to hype up the expectation for other people. Xiao Long Bao (juicy pork dumplings) were great, although the skin could've been thinner on top. Overall it was still thin enough to enjoy the soup inside without having it all soaked up by the skin. Beef Noodle Soup had soothing broth with just the right amount of flavor, and the noodles were excellent. Tasted like homemade with the right amount of firmness to provide some chewiness. Cucumber Salad was refreshing with a little bit of kick at the end. I wouldn't necessarily call it spicy, but it had a subtle bite. Sesame Buns were excellent. Tasted super fresh and were piping hot when they came out. They weren't overly sweet either, which I liked. My entire family loved this place, and will be our regular stop for lunch when we are out in Claremont. It's located in an inconspicuous area so it's easy to miss if you are not specifically looking for it. It's fairly small inside with about six tables total.
google avatar

Arturo M.

Yelp
Truly a hidden strip mall gem here. Inconspicuous and humble dumpling house that is serving delicous dim sum and noodle soup. They also have rice and noodle dishes on the menu, but the stars here are the dumplings and the soups.
google avatar

Yelp
I am so glad that I checked Yelp again to look for some beef noodle soup and Xiao Long Bao. This place just opened for 3 months, and wow is the food good. It isn't that big of a place maybe 6 tables at most, usually the tables can fit at least 4. I found out from the person who took our order that this place the chef is from Shandong, so their specialty would be anything in the noodles, bread that they make. Am just so stoked that a place like this exists in Claremont! They do have a working Apple Pay (they found out together with me) , and a high chair in case you do have small children! Food Our first time here we were able to try the following: Beef Noodle Soup- The Noodle is amazing, and the broth and beef is just as great. It is a more clear broth and my kids loved it. Dan Dan Noodle- This was my first time trying this sort of Dan Dan Noodle, that was more soup based. It has a bit of spice but not too hot, but was great with the peanuts and grounded meat Xiao Long Bao - FINALLY a place that makes this Quite Legit with soup inside of them. Can't wait to try other flavors Sesame Bun- the bread was "pillowy" wasn't too sweet, was great ! Can't wait to try their Beef Roll Wrap, Hot Oil Wontons, and other dishes. Will definitely be visiting quite often!

Yelp
Ordered dinner delivery from here last night for the first time, so my review is based on a single experience. Not sure if we just got lucky or if their food is just always good! Usually, at least one of the dishes ends up being inedible every time we order in from Chinese spots. I loved everything we tried - the only con was that the chow mein was extremely oily. Highly recommend the shrimp fried rice, the beef chow mein (tasty but be forewarned about the excess oil), and the steamed bok choy. Looking forward to trying other menu items!

Lydia H.

Yelp
Love coming here for chicken chow mein and an assortment of delicious dumplings. You can't order wrong. All of it is scrumptious. Always an amazing meal whether we do dine in or grab it for take out. Speedy service and reasonably priced too.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant is located across the street from Baskin Robbins ice cream, tucked away in the back of a retail plaza. I ordered over the phone and was told it would take 30-40mins. I ordered the beef roll and panda fried pork dumplings. The place was packed when I got there. There's only a handful of tables, but each one was taken and there was only one person serving them all. It looks to be a mom and pop restaurant. The beef roll and pork pan fried dumplings were delicious! It doesn't taste similar to other Asian restaurants in sgv/626 area, but it is flavorful and unique in its own way. It was so good that I went back the following night and ordered the same thing, but I also tried the chicken fried rice. It was also great! I'm glad I've found a new Asian restaurant in my area!

Yelp
Winner, winner, chicken, dinner. To find a place like this in Claremont is outstanding. The XLB bun, the potstickers, the noodles which use handmade noodles are all amazing. The only thing I didn't like was the fried shrimp appetizer. Lastly, if you come, you have to get for dessert. The fried dough with condensed milk. The quality of all the food here is absolutely amazing for the small hole in the wall. I'll definitely be back. Thank you.

Yelp
Amazing service and food . Sever /owner is the best . You can't go wrong ordering anything on this menu.

Mandooo L.

Yelp
Noodles are made in-house. Dan Dan noodles aren't your typical dry & spicy/oily style, it's more soupy, but I enjoyed it a lot. Their pan-fried dumplings are probably my favorite thing to order here, followed by their steamed pork, shrimp, & leek dumplings and Dan-dan noodles.. I've also tried the scallion pancakes here a few times and it's enjoyable; always clean and crispy Xiao long bao & spicy wontons are also more than decent, but like their shrimp fried rice I'd def rather go to you-know-where.. this spot is local to my shop so I'm glad I found my dumpling/noodle fix in a close proximity
google avatar

Annika W.

Yelp
What a delicious hole in the wall. I am so upset at myself for never trying this place before. I have been sing out and so have you! This is the most scrumptious food I have had in a while 10/10!

Yelp
Ok so I'm all about the dumplings and Taiwanese style food and we ate as this little shop in Claremont and boy were we on for a treat. My wife always gets the pork Xiao long bao, which is basically steamed pork dumplings. I ordered Dan Dan noodles and I loved it the sauce it's full bodied and rich and made even better with the fresh noodles they make for this noodle soup bowl. Amazing. Definer order some dumplings, scallion pancakes and this Dan Dan noodles dish. You're going to love it
google avatar

Victoria Y.

Yelp
Food is good. Dan Dan noodle was very soup compared to what I'm used to. Hubby ordered the beef noodle soup. It was good for the area. We also ordered these spicy wontons which some very flavorful. Will be back in wherever back in the area. Will need to try the xlb next time

Yelp
I love this place, ive only been here 10 minutes. Im coming back. Im bringing people.

Yelp
Super random spot we found on the way back from camping. We didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. Their XLBs (soup dumplings) had a lot of soup, were very flavorful, and the skin was thin. Their beef noodle soup was also tasty, but not overly oily or salty as some can be. I would just recommend being a bit more attentive to your customers - we didn't really get much service despite being the only ones there when they opened.

Yelp
we went on a saturday night and the food was AMAZING!!! i got the dan dan noodles and my friend got the beef noodles; i especially loved my order as both the noodles and the broth were literal perfection. there was also chili oil on the side and when i added that it made my noodles even better. the seating was nice and i liked the vibe inside the restaurant although it was small. food came out super fast (under 5min) and we also got a huge jug of water for free. so recommended.

Yelp
Good, I like it! And each time I went to La Kung Fu Noodle, I ordered dumpling and fried rice, my daughter like it too

Yelp
This place is absolutely divine!! Can you believe we have soup dumplings in claremont!?! Always fresh, everything is sumptuous and incredibly well made. Fast and efficient service kudos to you LA Kung Fu!

Yelp
Food was great. We got the dumplings, fried rice, beef noodle and popcorn chicken. Service was quick and the place is slightly small but gives it a "homey" feel. Prices were affordable and reasonable with generous serving. Will surely add to my list of go to restaurants. Highly recommendable.

Rachel M.

Yelp
My four year old daughters favorite food is dumplings. I take her to try different restaurants. We came across LA Kung Fu Noodle a couple months ago and ever since we haven't wanted to try other restaurants. Everything on the menu is good here and really fresh. The dumpling and noodles are homemade which is why they are so good. Definitely our favorite Chinese restaurant.

Yelp
Fantastic place! Love the veggie buns, the veggie dumplings, veggie chow mein and scalion pancakes. Everything was super good and fresh. Highly recommended. Will be back many times!
