"This top-of-the-line property of the San Vicente Hotel Group (which owns the nearby San Vicente and Hostal Villamil), is a three-level, all-white hotel that feels almost like a beach villa. It’s actually just a couple of blocks from Puerto Villamil’s two-mile-long stretch of municipal sand, and most of the surrounding sandy streets are filled with palm trees. The facilities here provide enough so that guests’ only real concern will be getting to other parts of the island. The restaurant stays open all day with a varied menu and drinks list. There are flat-screen TVs in the rooms and free Wi-Fi in common areas. Shaded by a few umbrellas and a cane canopy over the Jacuzzi, the rooftop terrace is the favorite hangout for most guests at this small hotel. In every direction comes another jaw-dropping view, such as the Pacific Ocean, the Sierra Negra Volcano, the highlands, or a saltwater lagoon filled with flamingos."

Hotel La Laguna on Isabela Island was a fantastic choice for our stay! The location is perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to all the island's highlights. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing the ideal place to relax after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always eager to assist with recommendations and ensuring our stay was memorable. The serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made it feel like a true paradise. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommended for anyone visiting Isabela Island!

Great hotel for a young couple to explore Isabela from. The breakfast was really filling with fruit, eggs served the way you like by the kindest cook. We saw flamingos and had beach towels to go to the near beach. Here there is also the best empanada stand “yummy yummy”. Can recommend!

Our stay at La Laguna was great! Rooms were clean and staff were very helpful. The hotel is in a great location - central to everything, with a fantastic view of the lagoon. We loved watching the flamingos from our balcony every morning!

A very nice hotel in a good location, just two minutes walk from the beach where you can enjoy a nice sunset. It’s also right in front of the flamingo lake so you can have a nice view when you seat outside in the balcony. Breakfast was ok not great as they give random food and drinks when seating down on the table there’s no buffet or order and the food has no flavour or anything special need to be improved with the breakfast. They don’t do late check out or check out at 11 am so at 9.00 am shard we need to leave the room asap. Isabela is mainly good to relax for a 3 days max as there is more to do on the other islands. But if you want to do more activities, you can do tours such as Tintoreras, Los Tuneles and hiking Sierra Negra volcano. There is a few restaurants and shop as it is a small village there not much people.

At first everything seemed to be okay, the room and the towels were a little bit dirty and so the dining room. Every day in our stay we asked for the respite and we were told that they will sand it to us. After a week they finally send us the receipt (after booking we’d involved- because the hotel didn’t reply and if our massage and we sand a few) At the end we found out that we paid for taxes that we shouldn’t have paid :( and ofcourse that the hotel isn’t available and there is no one to talk with BE CARFUL AND DONT GO THERE

Location was excellent! So close to the beach and to the flamingos. Room had everything I needed and the staff was very helpful. They also have a shuttle service to and from the ferry.
