The place stands out for its all-white decor, which immediately catches your attention. I wasn’t expecting the food to be as good as it was—absolutely spectacular. Leslie’s service was outstanding and truly elevated the experience. The desserts didn’t quite win me over, but that’s just a small detail in what was an overall fantastic experience.

My wife and I joined another couple for dinner at La Leche. We sat in the quieter back dining area. The aesthetics were fun, the service exceptional, and the food very good. The table side bar with drink mixing was fun and a great addition to a typical dining experience.

Google
I reserved this place for my husband’s birthday since the restaurant looked different from anywhere else we’ve been. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the food but it was surprisingly good. The stand out dish was the octopus. Super tender and flavorful. The service was really nice and the staff were so sweet to sing happy birthday to my husband.

La Leche is a truly unique dining experience in Puerto Vallarta. From the moment you walk in, you are surrounded by a stunning all-white decor and waiters dressed as lecheros. The hostess even offers to take pictures of you, adding to the Instagram-worthy atmosphere. We tried the tasting menu, which showcased the restaurant's most popular dishes. Each course was a work of art and absolutely delicious. La Leche truly is a treat for the senses, with impeccable service and delectable food. If you're looking for a dining experience that is as visually stunning as it is delicious, La Leche is the place to go. It's perfect for a special occasion or just a fun night out. And of course, your social media followers will thank you for the incredible photos you'll post.

I chose to have dinner at this place because it was located across from Mio Hotel. Unfortunately, I became very sick afterwards, likely from something I ate either here or at my hotel. The food was quite expensive, but the taste didn’t justify the price. I ordered a soup (Sopa de Nada) and a salad (Orejona). As a foreigner, I am particularly sensitive to food that isn’t properly disinfected or is washed with tap water. I suspect the salad might have been the cause of my illness.

The best meal I had in Vallarta! Everything was fresh and delicious beside one dish. We did the 7-course meal, and the stuffed fish was too dry and very salty. Everything else was spot on and worth the price charged. The drinks were awesome, and the service makes you feel important. We need more restaurants like that in the world.

Google
This was a great dining experience. They recognize people want to Instagram so they immediately offered to take photos for us at the entrance. The white backdrop was pretty cool with the lights that change. We ordered cocktails and they had a mobile bar which they made the cocktails. Right next to your table. As for the food, we did the tasting menu and it was great. We generally liked every dish that came out. And the dessert was so good! If you have a chance, I'd recommend coming here.

Google
The closest to a Michelin star experience you can get in Puerto Vallarta! The staff are SO attentive and helpful and really make sure you’re taken care of. Food is delicious. We ordered a La carte because we knew what we wanted but there’s also a tasting menu. Great drinks and really great entrees - you really couldn’t go wrong with ordering. Definitely a younger crowd/vibe coming here but it’s so cool! They’ve got a DJ that plays later in the evening and some fun lights they turn on.

Yelp
I wasn't planning to leave a review since I try to avoid writing really negative ones, but given that this place already has a 3.9 rating, I doubt it will make much of a difference. This was, without exaggeration, the worst meal I have ever had in my life. I didn't even know bad duck was a thing until now. The octopus? Hands down the worst dish I've ever eaten--and I love octopus. As for the short rib, it wasn't even short rib; it felt more like something you'd throw in a taco. To top it off, when our Uber driver picked us up, he asked what we thought. We told him the truth, and he basically agreed, saying it's just an Instagram spot. I will forever remember this as the worst meal I've ever had. Hopefully, this review spares others from experiencing it. Go to Outback, McDonalds, Dominoes. Literally anywhere but here.

Yelp
Decorated all-white such that the entire space acts as a canvas for projections from the DJ booth LA LECHE Almacén Gourmet seeks to "reinterpret culinary tradition in an irreverent way," and from tableside mixology to the Food itself flavors are sharp while service is efficient and friendly. Undoubtedly targeting a young and affluent clientele in the Hotel Zone, though the menu does not skimp on technique for the #gram, La Leche uses local Produce to build complex plates including grilled Octopus with Corn and Cotija or exceptional braised Mushrooms filled with Snails in earthy Cream Sauce. Fun for all ages, a children's menu offering Tacos similar to the "Taco de New York" for an adjacent birthday celebration, Entrees such as the Cazuela take a traditional approach as does Confit Duck with Vegetables and Mole Sauce. Not a place to skip Dessert, all three channeling the season and environment, fans of Cornbread will surely be wowed by Tres Leches Corn Pie though the Rice Pudding channeling Creme Brulee and Pepitas Cheesecake are no less delicious.

Yelp
They have a great ambiance. The food was great and service was awesome. Definitely recommend this place when in PVT

Yelp
This place was esthetically pleasing. Everything is white. Thus the name, La Leche. It's so beautiful here. The service is amazing! The food came out super fast and they kept on refilling our water even without us asking- is always a plus for me. The food was amazing! We had the set 7 course tasting menu as well as other dishes on the menu. The tasting menu was great bec we were able to taste a little of everything. We also had the dessert sampler and it did not disappoint. Price wise, it's reasonably priced for a high end restaurant. Loved this place! We came here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and they surprised us with shots! Non alcoholic for the kids- and tequila for the adults! The best!

Yelp
Such a cool experience! This was on our list of restaurants we wanted to try on our trip to Puerto Vallarta. The service the whole time was incredible! Starting with table side cocktails, I ordered the blackberry lychee drink. It was so refreshing after a long day in the sun. The summer cocktail was also delicious! For the meal, I started with sopa de nada. Don't miss out on trying this! The portion was huge and the flavor was perfect. I loved the chili oil added to it. For my entrée, I ordered the fettuccine and clams. The black noodles as always a nice touch. Everything was super fresh tasting. Half way through our meal, a DJ started playing and the whole restaurants vibe changed. There were lights reflecting on the walls. A really fun experience to try if you're visiting PV!

Chris T.

Yelp
Service and atmosphere was great! I gave this 5-stars because it's clear how much effort they put in to the dishes and the experience. I will say some of the dishes were not a home run, but everything was excellent, reasonably priced and satisfying. Portions were bigger than I expected too!

Wendy H.

Yelp
Food was amazing!! Fresh cocktails, fresh ingredients with unique pairings. Great ambiance but music was a little loud so that it was hard to hear the wait staff.

Lisa C.

Yelp
My friends and I went for our joint 60th bday celebration. One of our friends has been there before and it sounded very cool. All white decor. The staff was super friendly and during our surprise birthday dessert the host took a great video of it. On that note it is a great place to celebrate something special and fun! If you like loud, thumping music during dinner than this place is definitely for you. Don't expect a romantic dinner. I'm pretty sure it's a place for the young 30 something see or be seen crowd. The drinks were really awesome and made from scratch. The food was definitely top notch. I got the octopus and thought it was grilled to perfection. The sauce was delicious too. You also need to stop in the bathroom to take a photo of yourself in the milk carton. It is not a place to bring young children. Oh and don't forget to dress in white.

Bradley H.

Yelp
This is one of the most beautiful and sexy restaurants in PV... the ambiance is a perfect 10, the service is exquisite and on point, a solid 10!!! I absolutely love this place and wish them all the best but... the food... ‍ I'm not a food snob, at all... but I was so disappointed from the chewy oysters to the dry ribs... and the cha cha... I wanted it to be good... so bad... if you guys could get the food decadent you could have the number one restaurant in all of Puerto Vallarta. I would highly suggest sending your chefs to NUMOH or Cafe Des Artistes to experience decadent food that you can't help but close your eyes and savor when you eat. For those giving this restaurant 5 stars... you're not basing it on food quality... you like the ambiance... and that's okay!

Babs F.

Yelp
The place is decorated all white fitting for the name, La Leche. We arrived and seated as soon as our entire party arrived. We ordered a LOT. Duck, Octopus, snails, and a few salads (not enough vegetables on the menu... as a vegetarian I had a difficult time ordering). The non vegetarians loved the rich food and said, it was was all amazing! They had a DJ playing GREAT music (Christmas) but the music is a little loud making it impossible to have a conversation. The decor is amazing so take pictures! We ordered "ice cream" for dessert but we have NO IDEA what it was since it was served, warm. I didn't finish mine)

Olivia C.

Yelp
Elevated Mexican Cuisine. I come back every time I'm in Puerto Vallarta. The aesthetics are EVERYTHING and the food and cocktails are just as good. The Fiesta Americana resort is right behind it and frankly, you would be an estupido not to walk over for a meal here. Make a reservation! They're busy for a reason so plan ahead. Dress cute! Take iconic pictures with their white walls.

Zhao C.

Yelp
Came to La Leche for our friends' birthday dinner while we were in Puerto Vallarta and I could not be happier about the decision! There's club-like music in the background, but the environment still upholds a nice, sit-down environment! The food was delicious, and the staff could NOT have been more sweet and accommodating! Our servers were Rodolfo and Alexa and they were able to surprise our birthday friends with a sweet dessert to wrap up the dinner meal -- I definitely recommend this location for your next food adventure! :)

Marissa R.

Yelp
Overall experience was good to slightly above average. Service was good and gave us space to enjoy each item along the way. Ambiance was quiet and reserved. Music was playing but softly with the great light show that plays against the white backdrop. Cocktails were great and we would go back to share a drink and skip the food. Food was ok. We had the shrimp and mussels in red sauce which was good but for an entree was relatively small but a nice start to the meal. Both bread appetizers they brought out (tuna and garlic butter) were awful. They also brought them out without asking and then we were charged 85 pesos at the end for "bread". Not cool and not worth any amount of money. We got the steak taco appetizer and the pork ribs for our meals. Pork ribs were phenomenal but the potatoes and corn that came with it were both inedible. The steak tacos were the most flavorless tacos in all of Mexico. Not even salt on there. I tried to drown them in the red sauce they provided and added the hot peppers and still was lacking in flavor. Meat was chewy and unseasoned. For dessert we shared the chocolate ganache and it was the highlight of the meal. Decadent and rich but with good balance. Come for cocktails and dessert and skip the extremely overpriced food and get real Mexican food elsewhere. In total we spent 3700 MX or $200 USD for the two of us. It was cool to try once but will try other options in PV rather than returning.

Yelp
La leche turned into sour milk. The place looks Uber cool but fell very short on food and service. Our bad experience started when they seated us in the back room by the busboy area. We ordered drinks and tried to forget about our terrible location while the waitresses and busboys rushed past our table to put dishes away. The drinks had zero alcohol, they looked beautiful tho. We ordered our food. The artichoke dish was delicious it was the only good thing we ate. My daughter's hamburger arrived 30 minutes before our food arrived and they had cleared her plate before we received our food. My fish was warm on way to cold but the potatoes were steaming. My husbands ribeye was barely warm and 75% fat. The 5 ozs of meat was good but lukewarm. The timing in the kitchen was very off. The waiter asked about our food and we let him know it was not warm and there was no effort to rectify the situation. If you enjoy weak drinks and cold food that isn't timed correctly then go, otherwise spare yourself the expense bc it's not cheap. Sorry for the bad review I don't enjoy writing a bad review but this one is deserved.

Yelp
Food -- creative, outstanding flavors Service -- fabulous Wine -- large choice. Wonderful experience!!

Melineh H.

Yelp
Beautiful all white architecture and decor. Extremely large space which would have been ideal for my 6th wedding' except: Got super sick from the peblano with crab almost immediately. Thank god i have 977 pills in my purse and immediately took dramamine and bounced. Come here for cocktails and take pics for your next holiday card but skip the food.

D W.

Yelp
Wonderful ambiance and good cocktails. Don't bother with the expensive tasting menu, food is just ok, especially for the price in PV. Definitely skip the wine pairing - no bueno. Highlight was the "nothing soup", that one was delicious. Worst was the duck - rubbery, gooey.

Casper L.

Yelp
Ran into this place without knowing anything but it's famous lol. We got the combo without wine. Omakase style. Every dish looks pretty small but I still got pretty full at the end of it( I don't eat much). 5/5. I like the strawberry sauce with oyster the most. Taste bit more sweet and refreshing than regular tomato salsa. 4/5. The soup was nice too, hot and creamy but not too heavy, stood a good combo with toasted bread they served. The fishes are just fine to me. 3/5. Tuna doesn't taste really smooth, it definitely looks nice but the sauce was not well blended, so it's either too salty or sweet for some parts. 3/5. And the other fish (catch of the day) just tastes dry even with sauce. 4.5/5. Corn Tortilla of the taco was soft, hot and balanced with the spicy of jalapeño and the saltiness of the pork perfectly along with the zucchini. 5/5. The potato in the duck was sliced and stuffed together like a lady M cheese cake. Love it. The sause was very creamy and put everything together 4/5. Cheese cake. Love the caramel jelly. The sunflower seeds and the sauce. But the cheese cake itself is kinda powdery instead of creamy like regular cheese cakes, which I don't prefer. I don't think I need to say anything about the decor and the service considering the price of it. Which is what you mostly pay for. Will recommend this place if you got some occasions and wanna make the moment special.

Andres C.

Yelp
Overrated: the ribeye tacos are the worst. The service and concept are great, but the food is way overrated! The jaiba had too much butter on it, tasteless. Please skip this restaurant if you can.

Angele C.

Yelp
In puerto Vallarta and looking for a place to celebrate your bachelor or bachelorette dinner? This is the place to go!! I came here for my friend's bachelorette and was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is a 20 out of 10!! This place is instagram worthy with a DJ and all white decor everywhere!! Disco ball with lights and sparklers for your friend's event. The chef provided us with a complimentary tuna paste app. I ordered a Martini which was delicious. They even have my friend a veil and t-shirt!! The service was absolutely excellent. And the OYSTERS were the best appetizer going....they were HUGE and tasted amazing.

Yelp
Last night in town and I decided to try La Leche as it was suggested to us by a local. I must say I am severely disappointed. First of all the menu is kind of bizarre - I am not sure exactly what La Leche is hoping to accomplish but if I wasn't here with family I would have walked out. Service has been absolutely dismal, which was completely unexpected. We started with a green bean and spinach salad with was pretty tasty. We were given a complimentary tuna pate with crostini, no one had any idea what it was until we asked the waitress again. There is definitely a language barrier with the waitstaff which normally isn't an issue being that I speak Spanish however it was tonight, but the bigger issue is that the music is so loud that I can't hear the people next to me, let alone the wait staff. I ordered the lobster - which ends up being almost 115 USD, I can't say that I am impressed by the texture, it's actually crunchy which to me means that it is severely overcooked... Huge sure, but crunchy and overcooked. I am less than impressed. My family seems to enjoy their meals (also the lobster as well as the seafood ravioli). The seafood ravioli is lackluster, it actually has some shell inside the ravioli filling. Waitstaff never did come over to check on how the food was either. I even did the classic "x" with the fork and knife to signal that the dish was bad and no one said anything to me. Severely disappointing. My family members were never offered another drink, my partner asked for one and it's been over 20 minutes that he's been waiting for the one that he ordered. My mother has to flag someone down to get a glass of wine. Do yourself a favor and skip this dumpster fire and go to La Madalena where your business will actually be appreciated.

Melissa V.

Yelp
Everything is an experience since the moment you walk in. All the food and drinks we order were delicious, you are greeted at the entrance and immediately ask you to take your pictures to get them out of the way while you wait for your table (such a great idea)

Noreen C.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this place, but not for the average food lovers. You have to be willing to try exotic foods. The drinks are divine. Quite the experience, all white interior and staff is lovely and helpful.

Gustavo P.

Yelp
La Leche Restaurant's ambiance is a perfect blend of elegance and comfort, offering a serene escape for an intimate dinner. Attentive servers enhance the culinary journey with personalized recommendations from the carefully crafted wine list and expert pairing suggestions. Each dish emerges as a work of art, showcasing the chefs' creativity and attention to detail. The flavors dance on the palate, leaving a lasting impression that makes La Leche a culinary gem and a must-visit for an unforgettable dining experience.

Lindsey H.

Yelp
This place wins the best vibe award for sure. Cocktails were incredible. We loved sitting at the back patio bar. Chef was highly recommended and love that the menu varies by what's fresh and in season.

Nathan W.

Yelp
My bestie booked us dinner at La Leche on our annual trip to Puerto Vallarta. I wasn't sure where we going or what to expect. He told me this was an Insta famous restaurant and I should not expect much. When we first walked in they asked if we wanted pictures in one of the many IG ready moments. We were seated near a stage and loved the fact that live music began shortly after we were seated. Our service was incredible. I ordered an asparagus salad to begin the night and OMG!!! it was the best thing I ate on the entire trip! No joke! We raved about our salads for the rest of our trip and it is something I talk about whenever I talk about my trip. When we return for our annual trip we will be heading back to La Leche! It is amazing to find a place with such high quality food and service and has a really wonderful vibe.

Calista K.

Yelp
had the tasting menu, absolutely delicious! the service was wonderful, and the mood and atmosphere was very nice. i'd visit again if i came to puerto vallarta another time. a must!

Brad L.

Yelp
This restaurant/bar was one of the most unique places ever. The whole place is all white and really cool. Wish we would've had time to try the food here, however we were able to grab a spot at the rear bar area and had the place to ourselves.

Marlene M.

Yelp
If I could give this place 10 or even 100 stars, I definitely would. Going here was one of the highlights of my trip to Puerto Vallarta. The food was absolutely amazing! We had the "ostiones con crema" which were absolutely delicious - I had never had anything like it. For my main dish, I had the "cola de sirena" which was a huge piece of lobster tail served with asparagus and a risotto which definitely activated the umami taste buds. The lobster tail was astounding. It was very well prepared and had seasonings other than just butter that really brought out the flavor of the lobster. It was also very refreshing to get a good quality lobster tail because I've never gotten a lobster tail that big or that great, in the United States. They offered me a surf and turf option for that dish. However, I decided to opt out of it since it would have been too much food but that is an option, as well :) It was a little pricey but definitely worth it for the quality of food and service that we received. The staff was very welcoming and helpful and the delivery time for our food was on point! Despite my limited Spanish vocabulary and awkwardness when speaking it, the staff made us feel very welcomed and went above and beyond to give us an exceptional dinning experience. One thing I do regret is not looking up the place prior to going and dressing a little nicer. I showed up in jeans and a tank top. It's definitely a trendy place to eat with a perfect ambiance for a fun date night. I really liked the all white aesthetic of the place and the disco ball in the middle of the restaurant. The restaurant opens at 6 but I recommend getting there maybe an hour or two after opening. We went on a Monday night and got there around 6:30 or 7 but a DJ began to play towards the end of our meal. The music was awesome! So, I would have liked to stay and enjoy that a bit more. Till next time!

Sal E.

Yelp
La Leche came very highly recommended from friends who pioneered before us. They only shared that it was a great restaurant - no other details! Much more of a shocking surprise without knowing the details!! "Where are we - what is this?" was the first impression walking into this upbeat all white DJ in a second story wall insert "restaurant". Outstanding host & hostess, slightly serious but excellent server, outstanding food runners, mobile bar tender, & bus help. Food was outstanding in every way and the drinks were potent Kudos to Rudolfo, David, Chelsea, Joel, & Eric. Would absolutely return and would strongly recommend!!!!!

Adam D.

Yelp
I've been here three times. The first time, six of us went here not only because of the news attention from the kidnapping of Chapo's son(s), but also because it appeared to be one of the best restaurants in Vallarta based on my research. It did not disappoint. My first time was on a Sunday and the place was pretty dead around 8:00. Turns out it wasn't tourist season (October-April timeframe) so perhaps that's why. The next two times the place was maybe half full. Every time I've been here I've gotten the chef's tasing menu with wine pairing. They won't offer this, so you have to be prepared to ask for it. The last time I went, they charged $1350 MXN (about $75 US) for the tasting with the pairing. Totally worth every peso, or penny, depending on your conversion. The tasting menu is a random compilation of 7 regular menu items they choose to pull from the chalkboard menu. They ask if you have any allergies; if you want to complicate things, go for it. By course 4 or 5, I usually start to fill up, but always manage to plow through. The service is on the money. The food is beautifully-plated, well-portioned and delicious. The ambiance is truly unique. Highly recommend you and your dining partner(s) stop for a photo op before you eat. If you order the tasting menu and wait until after dinner, you'll surely appear bloated.

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Truly a special experience. My husband and I did not know much before coming in - we did the 7 course tasting menu and even though we walked away SO full, we relished every bite we took. Just next level.

Joy F.

Yelp

Joyee Y.

Yelp
We decided to splurge and try out this restaurant because it's next to our resort and has cool decor. The decor was very cool and the ambiance was nice. It's got a bartending cart but only does a few things table side. None of our drinks were made table side which was disappointing. The appetizer was good. We got the octopus. However both main dishes were terrible. Got the ribs and the duck. They were both overly salted and bland at the same time. The flavor lacks dynamic. And they literally threw some raw spinach on top as a garnish. When I was paying for the bill, the waiter tried to pressure me to tip him more. I have never had an experience like that. I'd expect a restaurant like that would train the staff better.

Jessica N.

Yelp
Just visited for my third time and was reminded even more so why I like this spot. It's just ... cool! There's nothing like it. The ambiance makes you feel hip and trendy... can't help but have a good time. And the live DJ just adds to the vibe. Plus, lots of locals which makes me like it more. Not to mention, food, drinks and service are top notch! Everything but the chocolate brownie dessert (which had a weird spicy taste) was mouthwateringly delicious. See pics for more...

Mary Ann R.

Yelp
We ate at La Leche and enjoyed their restaurant week menu. The food was excellent as was the service and the ambience. We will definitely return. I really liked that they had great music but we could still have a conversation. The high ceilings and the special effects on the wall make the place even more classy and upscale

Ekaterina I.

Yelp
The ambiance of the restaurant, the music and the overall food presentation are good. But that's about it. The food taste does not match the price and it's not about the price even, it just doesn't taste that good overall. I've got three dishes: the tuna tartar, the signature duck and the cheese cake. The tuna: it wasn't well blended with the pineapple (although, I did like the pineapple by itself) and overall the tuna didn't taste that good, I think it was lacking freshness and that balsamic marinate wasn't helping it. I barely finished half, and normally, I love tuna tartar. The duck: I love the veggie part but the duck itself was overcooked and was dry, plus the peanut sauce made on some bitter oil...it is so strong that you can't even taste the duck anymore. Also, on the menu picture it's shown as a duck breast (which is the best part of the duck) while they brought me duck confit. Perhaps, it also contributes to the experience that some people who try the juicy breast part love it while those who try the confit part wonder about where all those great reviews come from. (Just a thought) And finally, the cheesecake: the cake itself is really nice ( made in house) and tender but then it comes with pumpkin seeds and figs and raw peanuts ice cream. Again, in my opinion, these items don't blend well with the cheesecake. Raw peanuts in the ice cream...good attempt for creativity, but no. All together, none of the dishes created that ecstatic experience that I usually have when I eat a good food. This restaurant is not worth it, in my opinion

Camie K.

Yelp
My hubby and I got to check out this place after being recommended by friends and locals. The interior is all white, including all the furniture and wall fixtures. Their service is world class. Upon seated they will wheel towards you a gigantic menu board and give you a complete and thorough presentation. You absolutely have to try any of the fish or seafood plates they recommend. Their cauliflower pipían verde dish is deeply complex and tasty too. Their wine menu is bountiful. We were so excited they had a couple Valle de Guadalupe wines we immediately recognized. Go there with an open mind and you will have a wonderful time for sure. Reservation is a must.

Matt S.

Yelp
There is a reason why this place has so many positive reviews. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. If you're in PV and want an upscale-style dining experience, go to La Leche. The martinis and margaritas are both very good. They also have an excellent wine selection. Their menus are on large chalkboards and are explained in detail by each waiter. Try several of their appetizers. They're all good. Their sopa nada is a delicious cream-based soup. I also had their duck and roast beef as appetizers although I assume their menu changes often. I had their seafood ravioli (see picture). It was also very tasty and the presentation was beautiful. It had shrimp, octopus, and calamari with house made cheese ravioli and squid ink. La Leche could be a restaurant found in Manhattan. It's got a big beautiful bar with high ceilings. There's even live music/DJ in an open space up above overlooking the seating areas. It's very chic. If you want a high-class dining experience definitely check this place out!

Shanell C.

Yelp
I'm not sure where to start, this place was immaculate! Soon as you walk in you are greeted by staff who is willing to take your photo in the photo opp area. Then you are guided to your table. I started off with a drink, cucumber margarita which was so refreshing. I got oysters as an appetizer, I got the steak, asparagus and potatoes with a mushroom sauce, it was so delectable! I had made a mistake and dropped my napkin towel on the floor then proceeded to pick it up and put it on my lap, within seconds someone grabbed it and said no, I have to get you a clean one, unbeknownst to me it was one of the servers, I was very impressed! You can order drinks from a mixologist and they bring a bar cart to your table to prepare whatever drink you requested. The menu is changed every single day, which I like but not love, I had my heart set on Branzino however it was not available on the day I went. If I had to rate this place from a scale from 1-10, it's mostly definitely a 10! By far the best restaurant I have been to out of the country and I honestly cannot wait to go back!

Selmy B.

Yelp
Sorry to say the reviews on this are truly completely off. This is a chef driven, very young and inexperienced team. Yes, the ambience and their all white themed milk boxes on shelves is a very straight modern vibe. The servers are friendly and the drinks are well poured and a good selection. The menu is chef inspired and changes daily, I was told. I was excited for the meal as were my husband and other couple. Bag of rolls appeared for each with only 2 small rolls of butter for the 4 of us. Rolls were tasty and being served in a white bag was cute. The server brings out 2 small slices of tuna, complements from the chef. There are 4 of us, they have no idea that I cannot eat tuna, but 2 slices for 3 people is still a bit odd. We observed the party behind us of six people, only got the 2 small slices of tuna too. Oh yeah, nothing to serve that with either. This is where the evenings starts to get tricky for us. The oysters were ordered and I ordered the cheese plate, with toast, fruits, walnuts, raisins, and 2 jams. The cheese plate was served with a huge cheese slicer for a very large hard cheese. A nice presentation item, but completely useless for the portion of the cheese we received. The tray actually brings small triangles of bleu cheese, brie cheese, a white hard cheese and a swiss cheese. There was nothing to cut and slice the cheese with other than your butter knife. The raisins and walnuts come in a tiny sealed jar, which we simply poured onto the plate. The apricot and a berry jam were served in this semi oval tiny glass jars with no small utensil to get the jam out of it. The butter knife we had was simply huge for these tiny jars. Making this appetizer a lot of work to prepare before any of us could actually enjoy it. The oysters were generous and came with a thick salsa sauce that were in a small milk pour jar. Problem: thick salsa cannot be poured onto oysters. Again, some small tea spoon would have worked. When the server Carlos came by and asked, we explained our issues. He completely discounted us and said he would have to let the chef know. Yet, no spoons or small knives were brought to assist us with the appetizer. I ordered the small chicken that was to come with mashed potatoes and green beans. In actuality, I got a dry cornish hen that was overcooked with a tin can that had the 4 pieces of hard green beans and a square of sliced potatoes that really could have been cooked a bit longer. The sauce was not a cheese based but more of a mustard taste. Completely drowning the sliced potatoes. Not a mash, but a thick, uncooked sliced potatoes. Completely disappointed by the meal. My husband got the soup and only ate half the bowl for the soup was cold. My friends shared the grilled veggies and fish and said their meal was cold too. The servers also tend to hover around you. Before you finish your meal, they are coming by to take your plate. Twice, we had to stop them when we were eating our appetizers. We bought a bottle of wine and they kept coming by to fill our glasses and then took the bottle and started selling us on another one when we hadn't finished the wine in the glass. I don't understand these outrageous reviews. Great gimmick with the all white and milk references, but front end of the house needs some training. Simple details like proper serving utensils would have completely heighten our dining experience. Pacing around us by the servers was completely unnecessary and deter the whole experience. Not someplace I would recommend to a foodie, a traveler or anyone else. Expensive and not warranted.

Yelp
What an amazing restaurant! My husband had the 6-course tasting menu, and I had 4 vegetarian dishes. Each one was outstanding! The vegetarian dishes were crafted with care and creativity, and were really delicious. My husband said his brain exploded from how good his food was (and he has never said before). And almost impossibly, the service was just as excellent, if not even better, than the food! Everyone, from the hostesses to the team of servers that assisted us, were extremely warm and attentive. It felt like service from the heart, from every single person. We are not sure what magic La Leche has figured out to be able to create such an outstanding staff team and dining experience. But they have done it! We will definitely be back the next time we're in Puerto Vallarta!

Yelp
Don't waste your time coming here! It's a dumper fire of a 'restaurant.' Bad vibes from David. He rather have a empty restaurants than paying customers . Go to la vaca Argentina, very vibes and better quality food! Thanks David for sending us somewhere else!!!

Yelp
The concept and interior decor of La Leche is incredible. I absolutely loved that part. The food and service was mediocre to say the least. We came at night, so it was a nightclub for the two tables in the restaurant which made it nearly impossible to hear anyone speak. It took over 45 minutes to refill any drinks or for the server to acknowledge your our existence and when they did come around, they would sneak up on us from behind. The duck was very dry, however the vegetables were very good. The lobster was rubbery and overcooked. Would I go back? No.

Yelp
I have been thinking about this review for days now, just because I hate giving bad reviews and even suggest to stay away from a business. La Leche has been such a disaster that I feel it needs to be shared. La Leche is a very confused place. No clue if they are trying to be a hip restaurant or a night club but whatever it is, it's just not working. They are setup as a restaurant with a live DJ, which is a nice addition in most other places, just not here. The music is so loud that you can't understand a word the servers are saying. I don't speak much Spanish so I have to be able to really hear what they are saying to understand it. If you are trying to hold a dinner conversation, forget about it. It ends up in yelling at each other which is not fun. Now the service experience was a complete disaster. It started from serving extra items and not saying what it is to sneaking up from behind you and quickly move personal items on the table to rearrange silverware or remove a piece of paper from the table to taking 30min and 3 different servers to order 1 drink. Now let's get to the overpriced food... The items on the menu are priced at the high end which you would expect from an established high-end restaurant. The food we ordered was just a disaster. I am not sure what was going on in the kitchen but I would change out some staff. The best dish we had was a salad which is very difficult to mess up. The main dishes were dissapoiting. The Ravioli with clams was ok. The Ravioli was on the overcooked side and the clams did not taste fresh. They had a rubbery texture and aftertaste. The lobster, the most expensive item on the menu, was terrible! It wasn't just overcooked, it was well overcooked. It was very chewy and rubbery and also lacking flavor. Non of us really ate the food nor did we enjoy the experience in this recommend place by locals. We cancelled the last round of drinks and asked for the check. This restaurant really only gets 1 star because zero is not an option. La Leche really has left me with my worst dining experience ever.

Yelp
Love the vibe of this place. Food and cocktails are awe and really dig the live dj as well. Came here for a friend birthday and our server is very attentive and accommodating.

Yelp
Food was good. The ambiance is a bit too Instagram-ish for photos and followers. Parking was easy, right out front.

Yelp
This place is just okay. If you come from any other world class city such as San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York for example, then the dishes are 3/5 stars at best. The guava margarita is good, however , but I do not recommend spending cash on the wine. The decor is unique! If you are into the art scene then this place is worth a stop as well, although it's on the outskirts of PV. The menu changes daily and is described to you once you are seated at your table.
