Google
The ice cream is delicious at this fine establishment. I had a scoop of the green chili ice cream and a scoop of the sea salt chocolate ice cream. They were both delicious! I noticed they sell Eldora chocolate bars from Albuquerque. There was a nice young man serving the ice cream whose name I think was Noah. He was very friendly and explained the flavors to me and gave me a few free samples to taste to help me decide what to order. I recommend this ice cream parlor!

Google
Absolutely brilliant flavors, AMAZING customer service, I always leave with a smile on my face. If you like amazing ice cream flavors that you won’t get anywhere else, get in here and belly up. If you do not like ice cream, you should go lie down in the street and count how many cars swerve to miss you because you, quite frankly, are not worthy of American freedom. 😏

Google
The Rhubarb Ginger ice cream was so good. The Chocolate Sea Salt & Vanilla Bean were very good, too. Also, try their oatmeal cookie. Great customer service!

Google
One of the best ice cream places in Santa Fe. If you're in Santa Fe craving for Lick ice cream, this place will replicate it just fine! All of their flavors are yummy! Try the El Dora 70% dark hot chocolate with chocolate sea salt ice cream 🤤🤤🤤

Google
Fantastic ice cream! We had the cinnamon chili, chocolate sea salt, strawberry & goat cheese, and coconut sorbet in a flight of 4. Great flavor and a satisfying, full creamy texture.

Google
Such a gem in such an amazing spot! My siblings and I came here after dinner for a quick treat and we loved every bite we ate! My sister and I shared a flight and my brother got I think an espresso icecream? He loved it, and my sister and I loved every single flavor we had! The fact that it is homemade is a huge plus, but the flavors are so cultural and embrace all of what New Mexico is- pomegranates, green chilies, rum raisin etc.. How cool is that!? There wasn’t a single flavor we disliked, and based on the crowd that was there when we were, I have a feeling they might agree! The line was out the door and progressively increased over the 45 minutes or so that we were there. There is a variety of seating on the inside, and maybe 4 tables outside. I definitely wish there were more tables outside, but with surrounding businesses, I’m sure they do the best they can in accommodating the large crowd! I highly recommend going, and even if you have a lactose intolerance, definitely check it out and see if there are any vegan options or sorbets! Will definitely be back, especially on market days should we ever be in the area!

Google
Tasty ice cream, friendly workers. I tried the honey chile and my friend had mint chocolate chip. Both were delicious, and they allowed me to sample prior to deciding. They have fun and classic flavors which makes it nice if you are adventurous or just want a tasty classic

Google
The green chile snow blew impressed me. The snow was super creamy, the flavor was subtle, but you could taste the sweetness, or rather, I should say sweet chile. Hehe, it's crazy, you have to try it.🦖🪀

Yelp
First time at this location and it was as good as I remember the other being. This location is more convenient, as there's on-street parking right in front. Walking distance from other great places like Second Street and Nuckolls. I had the red chile chip and it was great.

Yelp
Super cute little spot in Santa Fe in a nice location next to the Rail Runner depot and The Crown Theater. Seriously the best ice cream I've had in a while, I'm still dreaming of the salted dark chocolate. Staff were friendly and very nice about offering samples for the flavors before I committed.

Yelp
The store is super inconvenient to get to unless you have already paid to park for shopping. I grabbed sorbet for my husband and myself. We got the mango chili line and prickly pear margarita. With the flavor names, I really wanted the flavor to pack a punch. Both were good but not sure they were worth the hassle of the location.

Yelp
Cute ice cream shop in the Railway District. The ice cream was yummy- I had the Mexican chocolate and my husband had the pistachio. The guy behind the counter was nice and was very patient with my son who wanted to try several flavors before making his big decision (he went with coconut sorbet). They charge extra for simple sugar cones, which seems a little weird, but they have free damaged, or 'sad cones', as they call them by the water dispenser which worked for us.

Yelp
I loved stumbling upon this creamery in the Santa Fe Railyard. It was the perfect low key stop for a great ice cream treat. I had the Mocha Chip which was rich and tasty...this is a great place to stop while in the Railyard....

Yelp
Best ice cream ever !!! Cone was perfect. Our last night in Santa Fe for winter holiday was amazing with La Lecheria being the highlight. We had the mint chocolate chip , chocolate sea salt and maple walnut. Excellent!!!!

Yelp
The red chili ice cream is definitely worth a taste! Great creamy vanilla with a slow creeping heat at the end. Their butter pecan was one of the best. Staff was so friendly and happy to give us samples. Extra $1 for a cone.

Yelp
Cute little shop serving delish and fun flavors like green chili and red chili honey. If you can't decide, you can do a flight of 4 smaller scoops for $9. Really good amount split between two people. We also had salt chocolate and Ceylon cinnamon. But my fave was green chili, followed by the red chili honey. There was a bit of a line on a hot July Sunday afternoon but it kept moving. They also had some intriguing sorbets, plus "adventure" series... not sure what that means but may try it next time.

Yelp
We wandered in here while enjoying the farmers market. We had a double scoop of strawberry chip and chocolate sea salt, both were excellent. We also tried the green chili and the red chili ice cream. They were interesting, but I did want to have a whole scoop of either. They had "sad cones" which were broken waffle cones that they were giving away for free. Also, the people serving the ice cream were incredibly nice and recommended several local restaurants for us to try out.

Yelp
Best ice cream in town all year round, super quality ingredients, unique flavors, great location! Chef created ice cream makes for some flavors you'd never expect in an ice cream!

Yelp
One Fell Scoop We were pretty stuffed after a great meal at nearby Tomasita's, but I can never resist some ice creams even if it's a chilly December day. The Good: *Housemade ice creams made with locally-sourced ingredients with the primary ones (i.e., eggs, milk, sugar) being all organic. *Creative and delicious seasonal flavors *Great customer service *Love the branding of moo meets día. *Ice creams were exceptionally smooth and full of flavor--especially the green chile ice cream, which is what really drew me in. It had that sweet, savory, spicy thing going, and I'm def a fan! *Outdoor seating *Great location at the Railyard The Meh: *Not a huge selection of ice creams but I'm just picking nits, as I'm sure there's something for everyone. The Ugly: *They're only in NM, and I'll have to wait for our next trip there to have more. Sadness. :'( TLDR: Fantastic ice creams and definitely at least sample the green chile!

Yelp
The staff are really nice, the environment was pretty clean, and the ice cream is pretty good.

Yelp
We were walking by and saw a line of people out the door, so we had to see what it was for. It was for a local ice cream shop, so we decided to join the line. There were ten or so flavors to select from. We tried the chocolate sea salt. It was rich and creamy. There was a sign they won the 1st place in Santa Fe for a local business. The only complaint I had , there were 3 workers, but only one was serving ice cream, one was working the register and the other one I am not sure what she was doing. With a line of 10 plus customers they all should have chipped in to help.

Yelp
Service was great. I got a small cup of Lemon Lavender Honey ice cream and I thought it was delicious but I did not really taste the Lavender. Neat flavors available to try- one even had green chili- but I passed on it because I love any ice cream with lavender. Nice ice cream shop in the Santa Fe Railroad district. I recommend it!

Yelp
The ice cream's pretty good, and you can't beat the convenience of you're in the neighborhood for a movie or market. A single scoop is $4.50 and that includes the cost of a cardboard cup and a plastic spoon - but if you want your scoop on an earth-friendly plain cone, that's an extra dollar. I can see charging for a cup and spoon - but an ice cream shop that charges extra for a plain cake cone? Tacky.

Yelp
The ice cream was incredible. They offer free samples, which I would use to try out their seasonal flavors. They had Black Magic (chocolate and cardamom), pumpkin spice, early grey, rum raisin, and blue cheese with some boozy wine. My picks were black magic and blue cheese (which tastes more like a sweet cream vanilla than the overpowering flavor of cheese). The ice cream were consistently delicious. They have classics, seasonal ice creams and sorbets. Each cone is $1 extra and I would highly recommend it. When I went, there was a black waffle cone that was delicately brittle--the perfect texture with their light ice cream. SEATING: It was very much empty when I went on a weekday evening as well. There are some high tops and about 5 tables for small groups.

Yelp
A very good experience at a local ice cream shop! We stopped by after the farmers market, and it was great on a warm day! I really like where this location is! There's a pizza place and a movie theater right around the corner. The farmers market and art market are there on Saturdays. They rotate their flavors regularly. I tried a pumpkin flavor, and a lemon sorbet. The pumpkin was a little sweeter than I'd like, but the lemon sorbet was refreshing. I think if you're in the area and want some ice cream. It's a solid choice.

Yelp
exactly what i was looking for: a locally made, quick ice cream shop with quirky and unique local flavors. i'm a chocolate fiend, so i expected to like the mexican mocha more than the green chile, but lo and behold, i ended up going green. the chile is a nice compliment to the vanilla base, evening out the sweetness with some funky peppery tang and subtle spice. you can see the black flecks of the roasty goodness. service was super nice, and i'd definitely recommend this spot. my only qualm is not being able to get two flavors in a small size!

Yelp
Great cookies and cream gelato! Friendly staff. Fair prices. Nice area to sit and enjoy your treat.

Yelp
Delicious sea salt chocolate ice cream and great vanilla bean ice cream! Friendly fast service. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Best mint ice cream ever. Real mint. Wow! Also had basil ice cream. Real basil. Fantastic. Will be back!

Yelp
So fun to try the flight of ice cream flavors. The ice cream was delicious. Would definitely eat here again.

Yelp
Visiting my friend and I knew we had to stop by and get some ice cream. The workers were super friendly and helpful. They answered my questions about the ice cream flavors and gave out generous taste tests. The restaurant has local artists work for sale in the wall and a giant La Lecheria print on the wall that you can take pictures of. Super cute shop with lots of fun flavors that change seasonal! Favorite seasonal flavors (IMO): Red Honey Chili and Mulled Apple Cider (sorbet). Check them out!

Yelp
What a gem to stumble on! We were craving something sweet and LÁ Lecheria is one of the few spots that stay open late. The selection of flavors is authentic and a nice surprise to find they have traditional New Mexican options. If you are vegan they have options that accommodate but do not fall short in taste. The service was fantastic! They offered recommendations and let us try flavors before we chose. The ambiance was nice and small. LÁ Lecheria is a perfect spot for an ice cream stop!

Yelp
New location in the railyard. So excited because it is so close to my work. Fantastic ice cream. Lots of different and unique flavors. I'm addicted. Where else can you find unique flavors like red chilie pistachio or green chilie ice cream!

Gennie A.

Yelp
The local hand crafted ice cream selections are epic. Highly recommended. I think a larger advertisement on the outside of the shop at the Railyard (market street) would be helpful to let the passersby about the offerings.

Christy H.

Yelp
The line was out the door but it moved faster than expected. I was going to get the mango chili lime sorbet BUT I sampled the Green Chili and that was it. Amazing. I'm definitely green chili obsessed and this didn't disappoint. At first taste it's sweet vanilla (not overly sweet though) then the chili taste comes and just as you swallow the subtle tinge of heat. It's definitely not spicy though but absolutely delicious! I'm so impressed.

Yelp
Great spot right down from the Rail Runner at Santa Fe rail yard. Walked in and was greeted immediately with a hello and smile. Tried samples of mango green Chile, coffee, coconut sorbet and mimosas. Decided on the chocolate sea salt for me and my son had the Irish Slammer and they were both very good. They had oldies music was playing softly and it made the ambiance very laid back. Love the layout of the shop and they have a couple of tables outside to enjoy the day. If you have a little extra time and taking the rail head over and enjoy.

Yelp
We visited this shop after 9 pm on a Saturday. It had received stellar reviews so we decided to try it. The shop is cute. There was only one person working the counter and the line was out the door. The young lady was very patient and still offered service with a smile! The ice cream though, was okay. We had the apricot ambrosia, mint chip and the pomegranate tea. We all tried the flavors before purchasing. They were all good for that first taste but when you start to eat a single scoop cup worth, it's not so good. None of us finished our ice cream (there were 6 of us) and the two people who bought the apricots ambrosia threw away their ice cream almost in its entirety. The pricing is fine - $4.50 for a single scoop.

Yelp
Great place to enjoy a treat after a movie in the Santa Fe Railyard. The unique flavors teased my palate. I tried Miso Brown Sugar and enjoyed an unusual taste treat that wasn't overly sweet. My friend stayed close to his childhood favs with a scoop of coffee ice cream. Good to know that unusual flavors are mixed with the classics. Organic and local ingredients makes this even more tasty.

Yelp
Loved all the flavors. Overall a nice solid ice cream place. I was there close to closing time, and I could tell they were annoyed I had come in, but they were still relatively helpful while I ordered.

Yelp
So fresh, so creamy, so good!! We had the salted chocolate and vanilla bean double scoop. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
Good ice cream and I tried the green chili flavor. The space was cute and clean plus friendly staff. Interesting flavors and a lot of vegan options. The bakery items were fresh and they make ice cream cookies

Amy B.

Yelp
Pistachio ice cream was loved! Minus one star for not having the vegan ice cream that was posted on their website. We only went because we thought it would have both dairy and non-dairy options.

Yelp
La Lecheria - Downtown has permanently closed and now La Lecheria - Railway is the primary (and only) shop. Phenomenal ice cream, inventive flavors across the board and all were great. I went with my family and we had the salted chocolate, green chili, coconut, maple walnut, and coffee. Each of us loved our ice cream. Look forward to coming back.

Meredith M.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream. Kind employees. Lovely vibe. Next level: I carelessly left something behind and they kept it safe until my return. I give them 5 stars AND a heart. :)

Ray N.

Yelp
Cute little ice cream shop with innovative flavors made with a lot of heart. I had the red chile cinnamon flavor and it filled my mouth with a very unique complex sensation of cinnamon and just a slight hint of kick from the chile all in an ice cream that has just the right subtle amount of sweetness that doesn't overwhelm the rest of the flavors. If I lived in Santa Fe, I'd go at least once a week to sample the seasonal flavors.
