Sonia was an excellent and very nice host, nothing was too much or a proble, she is also an excellent "chef de cuisine"||Thierry was friendly and helpful in advising on what was worth visit in the area and where we should definitely eat well.||Their breakfasts were delicious every mornig.||Our room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and maintained throughout our 5 day stay.|Wonderful location, quiet but central for exploring the Loire and the nice and beautiful environment!

What a pleasant experience in a quiet and relaxed space very close to the chateaus. Wonderful hosting (and very gracious tolerance of our bad French - Sonia happens to speak good English). It was a special occasion for us, and we'll always remember our time there. It's in the French countryside, but still VERY close to PLENTY of things to see. The food was very good, but it's the hospitality and friendliness that will be especially memorable. Our room was very nice, and well-appointed. We particularly enjoyed having our own picnic in the open space in the back and enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings. We would love to come back someday.

Spent three wonderful nights at this charming B&B very close to Cheverny and its beautiful chateau. Sonia is a fantastic host and a great cook. She always had something delicious for breakfast at the communal table. French toast, an omelet, and one morning it was an incredible creme caramel with a sprinkle of saffron! And there were always croissants, bread, homemade jams and yogurt. With over 3 acres and a pool, the grounds are lovely and we couldn't have had a more pleasant stay. If you are anywhere near Cheverny, this little gem is a must!

We stayed at La Levraudiere during the Easter Period and we are 100% satisfied with everything. ||||The rooms are cosy and clean, breakfasts are fresh and delicious, and more importantly our host Sonia is kind, informative and welcoming. We also had great fun playing with her dog. We completely enjoyed our stay and will recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to the region. (do try the eggs served at breakfast from chickens fed by Sonia, and the toasts are great with Sonia's homemade jam).

Located just 1-2 minute drive outside the centre of Cheverny, set in a beautiful garden with swimming pool. The rooms are nicely decorated and airy. There is one busy road next to the hotel and if you keep your window open , you can hear the cars passing but there's hardly any traffic so it didn't evn bother a light sleeper such as myself. The hotel is run by a couple who are very knowladgeable about the nearby chateaux and the area. The breakfast is wonderful. You won't regret staying here.

We spent three nights in "La Levraudiere" (Groseille room) while sightseeing in the Loire Valley and found it to be a truly satisfying experience: The room, bath and the guest part of house were tastefully furnished, spacey and spotlessly clean. The hostess (who spoke very good English) was extremly helpful, friendly and took her time to explain routes, sights and possible stopps. Very helpful, thank you, Madame ;-)||||One night we had dinner at the B&B with a group of French guests and enjoyed lively conversation and the good cooking of the hostess. The only, small downpoint during our stay: Though the breakfast had many sweet items to choose from there was only toast and baguette as bread variety. We would have enjoyed some croissants or pain au chocolat.

We stayed here for one night during our cycling holiday. A very well appointed modern interior to the home. Spacious bedroom and excellent bathroom facilities. Sonya, who spoke excellent English, went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Even drove us and picked us up from a nearby restaurant to avoid having to ride there on a busy road and back in failing light. Excellent breakfast. We would definitely recommend.

Sonia and Thierry run an immaculate B&B in their beautifully converted farmhouse, ideally situated to tour the Loire chateaux - Chambord, Cheverny, Chenonceaux, Blois etc- and medieval villages of the area.We stayed 4 nights and found them to be very concerned for their guests' welfare, and providing much information about the area and good places to eat. Communication was good. The room was a reasonable size and tastefully furnished and cleaned every day. The bed was particularly comfortable. Breakfasts were a communal affair around the large farmhouse table, with cereal, eggs, toast, coffee and Sonia's special hot treat. Table d'hote is available some nights of the week with prior booking. One suggestion - tea & coffee should be freely available for guests after tiring journeys. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We stayed here one night as part of a bike tour of the Loire Valley. Beautiful property and rooms, and the owners were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fantastic and the touring company also arranged for a homemade dinner made by Sonia, one of the owners, dining Al fresco in the garden. The property is about a mile from town so it was very nice to not have to ride the bikes back after cycling all day. Sonia's cooking was incredible and the wine served by her husband Thierry was also delicious, I highly recommend this B & B.
