A fantastic artistic boutique hotel with creative interior design and very well run. Great food and drinks on the ground floor, as well as live music. Next to the Old City of Amman. I definitely recommend this lovely place, and will visit again!

We had an amazing stay. The location was excellent, only 20 mins from the citadel and the old shopping street. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast was good.

Ka Licanda in Jabal Weibdeh holds a special place in my heart. It’s not just where I stay — it’s where I feel inspired. The vibe is warm, artistic, and full of soul. I’ve stayed there eight times now, and each visit feels like stepping into a story. I’ve had the chance to meet some truly amazing people during my stays — conversations that stayed with me long after I left. The Asmahan and Fairuz rooms are my absolute favorites — beautifully designed, full of emotion, and each with its own charm. It’s a unique, beautiful hotel that always makes me feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

The location is quiet, but in the middle of fine restaurants in a lively central neighborhood. Very comfortable lodging; my rooms were large, including bathroom, and had stylish design. All was clean and maintained well. Breakfasts were fine and the staff very friendly; when I only wanted a light dinner, I asked for soup and was given the most delicious mushroom soup ever. I felt at home and highly recommend La Locanda as the perfect Amman hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and loved it. The rooms were cosy and clean. The restaurant attached to the hotel was lovely under the vines and served amazing food. What made this hotel special though was the staff and owners. They really went out of their way to make sure your stay was an enjoyable. Extremely helpful and attentive.

La Locanda has an intimate atmosphere - the rooms (about twenty) have no numbers, but are all named after Jordanian musicians. Everything is clean and just so. My room and bath were comfortable and complete, and everything worked just the way it should. I stayed there four nights and it would definitely be my first choice in a return trip. The attached restaurant where the included breakfast is served is top notch. At dinner, it is open to the public and is comfortably full with people who have gone out of their way to be there. I ate from the "Arab Food" portion of the menu and was pleased with every dish. There was live music a couple of nights when I was there, a Cuban saxophonist and his trio which was festive and melodious while not being overpowering for the space. Definitely a place that I will remember fondly.

although i dont own an establishment of my own especially a hotel i do know that the only (professional) way to inform a person visiting my business about a certain rule is by speaking respectfully and kindly , i was walking past the hotel and wanted to photograph the terrace i took one photo and was approached by an incredibly rude person who i now know is the owner of said hotel Telling me that im not allowed to photograph their “property” and demanding me to delete the ONE picture that i took of the terrace (repeatedly), I dont mind following rules however one should be told these rules kindly and calmly. as a tourist i will not be staying in this hotel any time soon after meeting the owner i cannot imagine what the staff will be like.
