La Locanda del Postino

It was our last day of our holiday. We wanted to eat something special so we went to this place based on its reviews, it’s presence in several travel blogs and it was one of few places that was actually opened that day. The food was not so good. Especially the steak was quite overpriced, unseasoned and for the most part uneditable. You also get no side dishes with your order. The drinks were good, but not special. The waiters were not very friendly this evening. We left the place with a huge bill and an empty stomach. Maybe next time it will be better.

We stopped here for lunch as it was a nice-looking restaurant by the beach, but it wasn’t too crowded. We got some seafood pasta which was pretty good. Service was also very friendly. The waiters took their time to speak with us and even offer us some recommendations of things to do on the island. No complaints at all, and overall a nice lunch experience!

Really awesome fish food in Marina di Coricella. Service was quick and sharp and all the meals were great from starters to dessert. Highly suggested tonno rosso tartare as starter. Vibe is nice, seating outside on the cosy port walk makes it really romantic and characteristic. Suggested 😊

A bit pricey comparing to Naples, but veeeery good food! I can especially recommend the grilled tuna with fennel salad but everything was excellent. Servers were not attentive and not very helpful but not bad either. Stunning view and good atmosphere - calm and serene, especially after bustling Naples!

We had a wonderful evening: *delicious* spaghetti alle cozze (mussels!), very good vegetable sides and tasty fish! Prices are fair. The waiters were attentive and friendly. The view and atmosphere of the place are a joy, even if you have not seen the famous movie! We actually went without prior knowledge of its fame and we were very happy with our visit.

Just finished a gourmet class lunch in Il Postino restaurant on island Procida. Had a tuna portion that could be a bench mark to any restaurant. The pasta my spouse had got also highest compliments. This was absolutely the best lunch on this vacation in Italy so far. And.... The price was just the same as whatever lunch we have had. Surprised that other places around seemed to be more popular. I recommend this 👍👍👍👍👍

Wonderful experience at this new restaurant at Marina Corricella. Very intimate and calm setting in the old fishermen port. Kind and caring staff. Amazing food, in particular the seafood salad and the desserts. Good selection of quality wines as well.

This restaurant was an absolute let down mainly for the service received, as we found hair in our order. Once this was reported they cooked the plate again, however when the bill arrived they did nothing to compensate us for the bad experience. I then also noticed the kitchen staff had hair exposed, and the reason why we found it in our food. It is a lovely location, but now we know why the restaurant next door had more people; as the service here is terrible with the food preparation.
