We had a lovely stay at La Loggia Art B&B! The room was spacious and comfortable, and every morning we enjoyed a variety of breakfast options, including some delicious homemade hot dishes. The location is perfect just 10–15 minutes’ walk to the Old Port, with metro stations nearby too. friendly people, great location, and cozy atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

😊: Great quiet location & close to restaurants & pubs. Great host & very comfortable bed. Good variety of food for breakfast.. 😢: This isn't a dislike per se, however if your suitcase is of the bigger size it can be a bit difficult navigating the stairs as they are very narrow..

😊: Excellent home-made breakfast, enjoyed it very much! The host was friendly and always ready to help, easy to approach/always ready to answer any questions. They even shifted our breakfast time to more early times (thousand thanks for that), because we couldnt make it to the later time. Would definetely recommend..

😊: The hosts are super welcoming, accessible and the breakfast is something to look forward to.. 😢: I didn’t get the best room, with a small window towards the street. But no problem, as the terrace is really nice - find something similar in Montreal!.

Room was great and breakfasts were delicious! They were very helpful with letting us leave bags for our late flight on check out day too. Would love to go back!

It's very close to the Old Port, but unfortunately, our room wasn't clean. Some of our belongings fell under the bed, and we found items that didn’t belong to us. (I wonder how long they had been there.) Additionally, our lamp had a huge spiderweb, which made me question how long it had been since the room was last cleaned. Breakfast was amazing, and the location is excellent. However, the cleanliness of our room was disappointing. We were also given a basement room, so we could hear footsteps from the floor above. I recommend booking a room on an upper floor if possible. Their reply says more about the owner than about me.

La Loggia Art B&B was a great stay. It's very clean and comfortable and within walking distance of so many sights. The hosts are ultra friendly and the breakfast was delicious. We had an omelette, french toast and crepes the 3 mornings we were there along with a fresh fruit plate each morning. The bed was super comfy. The TV was a small but we weren't really there to watch TV so it wasn't a big deal to us. It did have Netflix and Prime when we were relaxing in the evenings though which was nice. Thank you for making our stay in Montreal comfortable!

Good value and comfortable. Home-cooked breakfast in the small garden is bliss. 24/7 use of quality espresso machine. Don't expect luxury accommodation. Only 15 minute journey to downtown Montréal

Yelp
La Loggia was a wonderful B&B with fantastic hosts, quiet neighbors, and great location! My travel partner and I stayed here for seven days and loved every one of them. We stayed in one of the rooms on the lower floor, and our room had an almost direct walkout to the small garden/terrace where breakfast was served every day. The bed was large and comfortable (and was able to be separated into two twins if you had a platonic traveling partner). The shower was shared with only one other room, but there were never any problems there! We had easy access to towels, the refrigerator, the microwave, and even some snacks that were left out for everyone to enjoy! Having the regfrigerator helped us save a lot of money and time on our tours, as we packed our own lunches with fresh ingredients and ate on the bus between activities. This way we wouldn't have to waste one of our two hours of free time on our tours in Ottawa or Quebec City to eat. Our room was nicely decorated and had original art on the walls. There were delicious chocolates in the room too, as well as water glasses and extra towels. Our hosts were very helpful and had maps and literature about the city/activities/museums set out for everyone to use. They even called our cab for us when we needed to leave for the airport! La Loggia was right in the heart of the village and was in easy walking distance to MANY great shops and restaurants. All in all, our stay here was top notch and we will be staying at the same place when back in Montreal!

Yelp
I read a lot of great reviews of La Loggia Art & Breakfast, and so my wife and I stayed the weekend of June 3rd. Location You can't argue with the location. My wife and I walked to a lot of places, and the metro wasn't to far away. It is in (or near) boys town (lots of adult stores around), so that part made it not so family friendly. Food It is a bed and breakfast, so lets start with the breakfast. After touring Ireland and staying in several bed and breakfasts, I was a little disappointed. Basically it is a continental breakfast with bread and boiled eggs. So yeah, I wasn't impressed. I would of liked more "montreal" breads and in-season fruit. Bed It is a superfirm bed (Garden Room) and we didn't sleep that well. We have a pillow top at home and we weren't used to this type of bed. Service You can't fault the service, it was great. I felt that they were a little "distant" from us - but they gave us privacy, and did invite us up to the apartment on Sunday before we left (to have breakfast).

Yelp
This B&B was delightful, and I am not usually a fan of B&Bs! Our hosts were professional, friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. Breakfast is served in a little deck garden, which is lovely, made to order. The rooms are comfortable, well arranged, and some have private baths. There's a little kitchenette, a pantry of snacks, free wi-fi, and the location is perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
La Loggia was our home for 4 nights in Montréal prior to boarding our ship for a St. Lawrence Seaway cruise. Our hosts were Rob and Joel and they were marvelous. We felt welcomed, their dining recommendations were excellent, the house is full of art, both Joel's sculptures and the work of other Canadian artists. Breakfasts were delicious and healthy. Lauren served as hostess at breakfast several mornings. There were always 2 or 3 different loaves of dense whole grain bread, freshly cut up fruit salad, individual covered bowls of natural yogurt, 4 kinds of dry cereal, several different kinds of milk, organic peanut butter and 3 kinds of local cheeses, plus soft boiled eggs. Coffee and teas were available. Bread could be toasted or had plain. It was as perfect a breakfast as I could imagine, unlike some of the huge cooked breakfasts we've had at New England B&Bs. During the summer months breakfast is served on the desk but the mornings had turned too cold for that now. We had room 1, which was on the first floor. It was a comfortably large room w/ a wooden floor covered by a large oriental carpet. Instead of a closet to hang clothes there was a bar w/ hangers attached to a shelf for storage. It was quite adequate to the task. There was a beautiful chest of drawers w/ more drawers than we could fill. Atop the dresser was a flat screen TV. In the corner by the bathroom was a marble topped table and metal chairs w/ red plush cushions. It was a perfect setup for working at the computer. The bathroom also had a wooden floor, a white pedestal sink, a stall shower. There were storage shelves behind a curtain across from the shower and a shelf under the mirror over the sink. Rob told us they would change the towels if we wished but wouldn't if we didn't. The bed was made up every couple of days. They don't come into the room unless asked out of respect for guests' privacy. There are a lot of stairs to climb in the house and the front stairs are steep. Breakfast was served on the second floor. Tea and coffee fixings and cookies are available downstairs in the basement. There's a refrigerator for guests' use as well as a phone for guests' use for local calls. Room 2 has direct access to the deck and garden and when it's unoccupied you can go through it to the deck. When 2 is occupied access is downstairs and then up another set of stairs. I missed having a parlor or other public area to hang out in if we wanted to be somewhere other than our room, but other than the garden there was no regularly available common area. Alan and I have stayed in many B&Bs in our 32 years together but this is one of the first times our host has made his washer available to us to wash our clothes. It was very generous and we appreciated it. Rob also printed out a temporary AAA card for Alan and something for someone else. He gave us a plastic garbage bag to use as a dirty clothes bag. It's personal touches like this that make people feel at home. We enjoyed our stay and would return when next in Montréal.

Yelp
It really was as good as it gets for us. This delightful B&B is in the perfect part of town and Rob/Yoel are the quintessential charming, authentic, delightful hosts. You'll feel immediately welcomed into their home. The room we stayed in was perfectly appointed quiet, clean. sweet, delightful. Rob is a crack up! You feel you've known these two for years the moment you're greeted by a warm smile. Location worked very well for us in that its immediately accessable to all of Montreal's "typical" neighborhoods and sites but just enough off the beaten path that Rue Amherst is just quiet and relaxed. Breakfast was lovely. You're typical spread of fruits, breads, coffee, local cheeses, delish granolas. Seriously I haven't a single critique. For a next visit to Montreal we debate....try something new......or accept the fact that it just cant get any lovelier and experience than at La Loggia. At each of our 3 breakfasts with them we engaged in enjoyable conversations with the other guests. That kind of environment only comes from special inn keepers. Thanks Rob and Yoel you guys really made our visit unforgettable.

Yelp
Wife and I stayed a few nights based on research and reviews - and got all we hoped for except a "deal" price. Only room available was in the most expensive basement/gym/studio room - a huge room with a nice but tiny shower space, under the patio. No wi-fi through the stones, but quiet and comfy. We got great guidance on local things to do and got deep into politics, economics, social science - and several bottles of wine with our hosts. That added loads to our enjoyment and is reason enough to return someday. Some good chats over a good local produced bfast in the cute patio garden. Not in the trendy part of town but location was fine for us as we rented bikes and enjoyed the weather and super bike friendly city from the saddle. Short walk to the major gay bar strip where it is always "happening". A Vietnamese spot around the corner was recommended and is again. Say hi to Sonny there, and admire his paintings.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we both just fell in love with the place. The owners have an outstanding sense of hospitality that shines through in what they do. I thought the food was very good: fresh, sweet fruit for the continental breakfast, soft-ish boiled eggs, local bread and cheese all served in the garden outside made for a simple, relaxing start to our days in Montreal. We would stay there again without question.
