I stayed in a room with a shared dry toilet and outdoor shower, both, not a problem for me. ||The view from the top at the reception area is amazing. But, the climb up the stairs from the beach is not. ||Pros: The view over the beach and town is fantastic. The staff are friendly and very helpful and rooms at La Loma Linda were very good. I really enjoyed the outdoor shower, mozzie net was mended and big. The hammock was comfy too. The Garden is beautiful with lots of healthy plants and trees growing on the property. The buildings of natural wood and stone are solidly constructed and visually beautiful. Compared to my previous hotel on the beach it was very peaceful and quiet, especially at night.|| I didn't join in the yoga but the studio space is lovely, large and breezy. ||Cons: the climb up from the beach. If you are staying in a lower cabanna it's not a big deal as they can be reached by one or two stair cases. I didn't count them but there are a lot of narrow stairs up from the beach to the reception area and my room. I am currently doing rehab on a hip and ankle injury so, although it was probably "good for me", combined with the beach walking, to and from restaurants, it was a lot of physical effort. My whiny bit is I would come from the beach refreshed from a swim and be sweating buckets by the time I reached the top and needing a shower. You can avoid the stairs by going around to the main gate on the road but it's a much longer walk and I wouldn't do it at night alone. If you're driving I suppose it would be OK. And bring bug spray here. ||I suspect if you're staying in one of the lower cabanas the place is perfect. I didn't see inside them but they looked to have great balconies and outdoor spaces. I'd chose one of them if I was to return here.||Breakfast was meh. I preferred Cafe Esmerelda in town, delicious veggie omelettes.||
