La Lonja

Stumbled in here as cruise-ship refugees and ended up feeling like honorary locals — which is saying something, because there were far more actual locals than tourists. Always a good sign! We ordered the whole grilled red snapper and WOW: fresh, generous, and properly Canarian, complete with papas arrugadas and mojo. We shared a portion between two which was ample for a light lunch, making it exceptional value. Service was a bit slow… but honestly, when the food’s this good, you stop minding and start sipping your drink like a pro. Authentic, tasty, great value — would 100% come back (preferably pretending to be locals again).

Other than the one mishap of the waiter with the drinks, its a delightful place to eat, food isn't stellar or something groundbreaking or iconic, but its good enough and filling. And sometimes thats all that's needed.

Great Canarian food and several options of local wine. Patatas arrugadas, croquetas, the white wine was very nice! It was open on Sunday all day!!!

Nice ambiance on the inside. Very garden-esque. The music is quite awful and I feel as thought I am at a spa. Seafood soup is delicious. Service is prompt. Fried squid is worth trying. The walleye fish was a little dry but nice. I wouldn’t come here again but it was nice for the evening.

Excellent foods, super good service, the restaurant is beautiful. All good and will be back again.

Very nice service, great food and god vine and all for a really good price! Highly recommend going there! This was the best dinner we had in Santa Cruz!

A lovely place (en el patio) with good food. Especially Sopa de pescado y mariscos and as main el solomillo were very tasty! + great service !

Unfortunately it wasn’t good choice for food 🥴. Seafood soup was very solti and it didn’t help with the taste at all :/ Octopus 🐙 looks good but was full of soya sauce and I had aftertaste of it until the next day 🫣. Even bread wasn’t fresh. This place looks amazing but unfortunately food was really not fresh. Fingers crossed that owner and chef will focus more on food.
