One of the best experiences I've had in a vintage shop as well as selling! Very sweet and kind workers that bought some of my vintage items, and were more than thoughtful I had a chance to look around as well, and they have phenomenal vintage, as well as pricing. The pricing is just right, which is more than I can say for vintage right now. Will definitely be back!

La Loupe has been my favorite vintage thrift store in San Diego for YEARS! I have found a lot of my favorite, staple pieces in my closet here. Truly the kindest and most helpful staff. I will always love shopping here and I have never had a bad experience. I first heard about this place from a coworker when I was living in LA. She said La Loupe was one of her fav vintage shops in SoCal. So when I moved back home to SD about 10 years ago, I started coming to La Loupe regularly. I almost always find something cute in here, and can never leave empty handed! Love that they have discounts sometimes too. I’ll never stop coming to La Loupe - oh and I have to mention how sweet the employees are. Brandi the owner is super cool (I met her MANY years ago when she had a booth at Desert Daze or Moon Block Party, can’t remember now!) and everyone who works here is SUPER nice and they always make me feel welcome. So, thank you La Loupe for being amazing!!! 💕 🦄 🌈 🌸

I’m always torn on this place. I think they do have a lot of great, hip, stylish items. But often overpriced. Even the “sale rack” outside surprises me sometimes. Just because a plain blue tshirt is from 1992 doesn’t mean it’s worth more than $10. Definitely fun to window shop. But I think the pricing is often a stretch.

La Loupe is a vintage store with great buys and a great atmosphere! You feel like you're in a super hip boutique but you don't have to faint at any outrageous prices! I've bought a few really cute skirts and dresses here and I am always in love with the jewelry they put out. There are also larger sizes available, which is sometimes really hard to find in vintage places. Definitely follow La Loupe on Facebook or at least pay attention to the moon, they have full moon sales and that's when absolute steals appear. I found an ADORABLE velvet dress for $5! I get compliments on it every time I wear it!

Walked in and found a cute tank top within 2 min. The price was good - only $16. The staff were SO friendly. Everyone said hello and asked how we were doing. I will be back soon to check out their denim!

Went here recently and it's pretty small so the selection is a bit limited. Just like any other thrift store it's a hit or miss of what you find. They do have some brand new items as well, especially under and near the cash register counter. They carry shoes, clothes, accessories, greeting cards, etc. Unfortunately I didn't find anything on this trip. I'm not sure I'd come back unless I was already in the area.

So cute! Walked in and was immediately greeted by three lovely people who stopped their personal conversation to greet me and even went as far as to ask about my day. Was helped in finding some killer Levi's which tends to be difficult since I'm plus sized but they did their best in assisting me! Prices weren't too steep considering the quality of the clothes, a few items were iffy but after looking at the tags (brand) and quality one can understand why they were priced as they were. Very inviting and friendly store!

Great experience here. Cozy vintage corner tucked next to Lestats. I always feel it's a great collection when I browse. The buyers have great taste, the items all have their own sense of attitude and "retro," and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. They always ask how are you and say hello when you come in. I walked in to buy a birthday card one day, and also grabbed a flyer on the counter about their monthly selling day, which was the following Sunday. I came back with 2 bags of my own clothes on said Sunday I've been meaning to get rid of, some of them already on apps for sale. The experience from check-in, the short waiting time which I enjoyed anyway browsing the store, and the value I got back for the items they picked was all really positive. You are able to choose between 30% cash back or 50% store credit for the value your items will be priced at by La Loupe. I was happy with this because I've been in stores that do a 20% / 40% ratio or even 20% / 30%. I ended up even finding 2 pairs of vintage Levi's jeans that were (finally) in my size, and they were not expensive either. These vintage jeans right now go from anywhere between $50-250 depending on their year, condition, etc and La Loupe's were definitely on the lowest end of that. OK bag em baybee! In addition to a colorful and fun assortment of vintage clothing they also carry new items from local brands: dainty gold jewelry, BAGGU bags, organic / clean beauty products, plant pots, candles, all the cute stuff for gifts from small businesses. I love this shop! I found a super cute shirt here. Staff were super helpful and friendly. I come regularly to see what's new cause it's always different. The prices are also really fair. I like that they have all decades of clothing and carry some plus size.

Love both locations; however, the Adams location has more stuff since it's bigger in size. I didn't get the names of the people who helped me yesterday, but both employees were very accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. Didn't expect to leave with anything during my browsing experience either (came in with the intentions that I needed time to kill, since it was still rush hour), but managed to get some new shorts, pants, and a cute "y2k" top. Usually when I visit La Loupe, I always get something from their jewelry section cause every piece is either dainty or unique in style, which fits what I like. Tell ya friends about this spot! They'll love it as much as I do.

Such a great store, with a variety of unique, vintage accessories for both men and women. Gf bought a pair of sunglasses for $14 and thought they were the cutest. "I will wear them to bed every night", she says. Anyway, store is in a great location right near normal heights about two minutes from the freeway. Would definitely visit again next time we're in San Diego!

Cutest thrift boutique with something for everyone I've been to so many vintage thrift stores that don't carry my size or price their items high. This shop has a wide variety of sizes, styles, prices and more! Love that they carry accessories too. I'll be back to check out their footwear next! Service 10/10!

Awesome store and excellent service! Bought these two jackets(see photos) and was recommended to check out the spirit stroll! Unfortunately there weren't any tickets sold the day of but still prompted to check out the stores on the street and got more items

Everyone who works here is super sweet and helpful. Its a little pricey, but all the items are super cute. I just wish i could find my size in their vintage jeans! Theres only Street parking so be aware of that.

I finally decided to tackle my closet cleaning and letting go of those things that brought me so much joy in wearing. I made an appointment to sell and consign my vintage clothes and shoes.This is my first experience and the staff was wonderful! Each resell store is unique in what they are looking for and I was so glad that someone will get to enjoy so many of my favorites.

I went in on Friday to buy a dress for a party but i had a terrible shopping experience. First of all the prices are very inflated, but I already knew that, I used to shop here when I lived in normal heights, but the reason I was ok with their price points was because it's a cute store, curated collection and it's a small business so I was ready with my cash to blow. When I went in I tried making eye contact with the cashier, but she ignored me. Fine... so I walked around and searched and that's where the second problem occurred, everything cute was size small. They need to accommodate other sizes besides size small. The cashier never acknowledged my presence in the 10 minutes I spent in the tiny store. if I wanna shop in a stinky store and be treated like a scrub, I'd go to the goodwill. That's the last time I'll go there ever again. I used to buy my hammies there in order to support local business, but I'll buy them direct from hammies.com from now on. Good customer service goes a long way. A smile, acknowledgment, asking if I need help finding anything. The higher the price point, the better the customer service needs to be.

Fantastic store. My husband forgot his dress shirt, and we had just 2 hours before the wedding. We went into the La Loupe on Park, and they suggested we stop by this location on Adams. Not only did we find him a shirt--the staff were able to spot me a couple of safety pins and string for my outfit. So courteous and cool. Thanks, La Loupe!

Probably one of my favorite thrift stores yet!! :-) There is so much to look at! The atmosphere is very nice as well and the workers are very helpful and friendly. Ended up buying a necklace and a pink scarf but will definitely snag something else here soon! :D

I love this store it's own by a friend of mine And specializes in vintage clothing and accessories. They normally dont carry alot of plus sizes.. but totally they had a pop up plus size sale that was to die for. I got some great vintage fashions at some good prices for quality pieces. The displays are well done and the store looks organized for vintage and easy to shop. Brandy and her staff are helpful and the dressing rooms are nice. There are two locations on in Adam's ave next to Lestats and one on Park Blvd. These are hand selected vintage items so expect to find more than you would at a thrift store and expect the price to reflect that too. But the prices are fair compared to most vintage stores. This store is a great little gem for any vintage shopper.

Literally the best business and vintage shop I've been to. Not only do they have incredible clothing and at ACTUALLY affordable and reasonable prices (especially for vintage clothing). Aside from store front, the owner is the kindest and most understanding person. There was an issue with a transaction (nothing to do with the business, the credit company has problems nationwide) and she was alert, kind, extremely professional about it. She treated each customer as she wished to be treated. And when I needed to return something, she was also understanding. I'm moving back to Philadelphia and this is one of my favorite out of all the vintage shops I've been to across the states but will truly miss when I move away. Hands down best vintage store ever. I always find myself walking away with such solid & quality finds. The folks who work here are AMAZING. Seriously, every single person working is incredibly kind and attentive. They set you up with a fitting room and are diligent about making sure you're not holding onto clothes. I've never in my life had access to such a welcoming and safe space while shopping. I moved to the Bay but every time I visit SD I make sure to stop by for a purchase.

I love this place, though it can be a bit over priced. I used to live by here so I loved finding little gems here and there and that is what is key. You have to keep going and you will find the cutest little things. The employees are always so nice which I love. My only complaint is when you find something really cute and the price is sooo much more than what its worth - in your opinion. Love this place and definitely recommend it.

A pretty inexpensive vintage store that I happened upon while shopping for fabric a few doors down. Everything was in pretty great shape and I scored a vintage Hawaiian shirt for my son to wear to the upcoming Tiki Oasis. The girl manning the store was very cool and this is definitely a place I will be coming back to.

Went here to look for some things for my teen, they have a great selection of pants. Love the variety they have here from 70s/90s to boho chic. Everything is very clean, store smells great. Awesome wall of body and home care. Really attentive staff. Great location, parking was easy to find around the corner on a Sunday.

My favorite clothing store! I never leave with my hands empty... it's borderline dangerous for me to walk in :) The women attending are sweet and helpful! The store layout and the way it is merchandised make it so easy to browse by, things are color sorted, by style and they specify if it's modern / vintage. Prices are totally fair. $10-$25 for shirts / skirts. $15-$30 Dresses $30-$50 vintage levi's. Most expensive items are usually high quality gems that will last years... Also, this is a great place to gift shop, I've done Christmas shopping for girlfriends here, I got jewelry and they gift wrapped :)

One of my fav stores! Very seldom do I ever leave empty handed. I always find a one of a kind piece that just makes me feel like a million bucks. The selection and prices are great! I don't think I've seen anything over $40 and that was probably like a leather jacket or something. The ladies that work there are always friendly. I appreciate the fact that they always acknowledge me & offer their help but always let me do my thing. Come through! You won't be dissapointed if you're into unique items and not the typical stuff you see at the malls.

I absolutely adore this shop! A local treasure. I leave with a new items any time I visit! They have a great eye for vintage pieces, and they also have a large collection of new jewelry, sunglasses, hats, bags and some cosmetics! My favorite aspect of the store is their integrity when it comes to pricing! They hook their customers, very fair and affordable, and they don't try to ring dollars out of labeling their clothes "vintage". Also, they women who run the shop are super open to help you out or just chat but they also know how to give peace and let you browse solo, which value as a customer.

I was looking for a vintage ring for a gift and I happened into this lovely shop. The jewelry was amazing but not quite what I was looking for. I mentioned that my mom had given me a huge pile of turquoise and silver jewelry and I had already picked out what I wanted to keep. I asked if the owner could take a look at it and just let me know where/what to do with it all. I dropped it off and a few days later I got a message that they wanted to make an offer. I had a terrible experience the first time I tried consignment with a jerk in La Jolla so I had no idea what to expect. I was absolutely blown away at the offer. Everything was organized and each price and piece was explained and laid out. No games, no fine print, no BS. I was more than happy to do trade or cash. I was presented with several amazing offers and I dove in shopping. I left with a pile of vintage awesomeness and didn't even spend 1/3 of my gift card. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for unique items, fair prices and the incredible staff!!! You deserve 10 stars!!!

The best vintage store in SD! I love coming here, they have an amazing vintage selection. Everything I have purchased from here I love and I always get compliments on the items! They recently started to buy, sell, trade and it's great! So if you have any amazing vintage pieces come over the La Loupe to sell so I can buy =)

This place is really nice. I don't always buy something when I come in but I always love browsing. All of the pieces are in great condition and everything is so fab. They have a lot of pieces from the 60s and 70s but you'll also find a fab sequin treasure from the 80s occasionally. Apart from just vintage clothing they have a few quirky cards and gift items. Prices are more than reasonable and a few things are usually on sale! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

This shop is so nice they carry a vast selection of jewelry. I purchased a quartz ring and it has not turned my finger green. Employees are helpful. I love that they carry candles by P.F Candle Co.

The staff is unfriendly. The store is small and they obviously don't have any clue about customer service. Wish I knew the name of the girl that "helped" me out so I could report her. Definitely not going back and wouldn't recommend.

Most vintage stores these days are horribly over priced and lack variety. La Loupe is a breath of fresh air with its reasonable prices and fabulous selection. The owners are lovely people and both locations have a unique personality.

Love this local shop! I have shopped here a few times and everyone is friendly. A lot of one of a kind items and cute accessories. I purchased a pair of sunglasses and the screw popped out a week later. Tom was super sweet and fixed them for me. Totally above and beyond.

This is a great place to find lots of vintage gems for a very reasonable price. It is very neat and organized and items are in very good condition. Staff is very friendly as well. I will definitely go back!

This store is the bomb! The owner Brandi is also the bomb. So sweet and helpful even gave my 4 year old little girl a beautiful necklace! If in normal heights a must stop in.
