La Lucciola

We ate here yesterday and were thoroughly impressed! As we didn't have a reservation, we took a seat at the bar and ordered something to drink and small appetizers. When the table was ready (we didn't have to wait long), the drinks were brought to the table. Throughout the service, the waiters were very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the pasta dishes and salad. The restaurant is beautifully decorated.

La Lucciola has always been my favorite restaurant in Bali — and for good reason. The atmosphere is simply magical: open-air dining, nestled right by the beach, surrounded by swaying coconut trees and that charming wooden structure that feels like a glimpse of old Bali. The staff are absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and always welcoming. The food never disappoints, consistently delicious with fresh, vibrant flavors that perfectly match the tropical setting. I’ve dined here many times, and each visit feels just as special as the first. If you’re looking for that true Bali feeling — timeless, relaxing, and beautiful — La Lucciola is the place. The most expensive bill we had in Bali (no alcohol). But it was totally WORTH it. (Tho it was expensive for Bali, but overall pricing is okay for such a great service). Service was top-tier. Waiters were very cute and smelled amazing. View was good. We’ve ordered TUNA. It was wonderful, amazing, delicious, top-tier. Very good, and worth of every rupiah. We were in the wait-list but they seated us very fast. Thank you!

La Lucciola is a must-visit when in Bali. Set right by the beach, the atmosphere is stunning open-air, breezy, and romantic, especially during sunset. The food is consistently excellent with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. Service is warm and professional. A perfect place for a relaxed yet refined dining experience.

Where else can you get exquisite views, sensational food and silver service.. at this price point? Location for me was the real winner.. sipping on cocktails, watching the sun set into the ocean. Not to be let down, the food is carefully curated, prepared and made with care, resulting in sensational food that delights the tastebuds! The not so shiny.. plenty of children around (even a children's menu).. but no high chairs. Most parents struggled with their children, either in prams or up and down the stairs. Oh, and be sure to book well in advance. Although they hold many tables for walk in bookings, they are often snapped up.

Beautiful Italian restaurant right by the beach with a great view of the sea. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was absolutely delicious. We finished every bite. Service was excellent and staff were very attentive. Special shout out to the gentleman who attended to us for my gal's birthday arrangement. They even sang a birthday song for my daughter and we pre-ordered a tiramisu birthday cake, which was really good. A beautiful spot for a nice meal or special occasion with great views and top notch service.

5 Stars – A Must-Visit Dining Experience in Bali La Lucciola is truly one of the most luxurious and unforgettable dining experiences in Bali. The setting is absolutely stunning, with an open-air design that overlooks the sea—perfect for sunset dinners or a relaxing ocean-view lunch. The atmosphere is elegant yet laid-back, creating the ideal vibe for a special night out. The food was exceptional—delicious, beautifully presented, and with just the right portion sizes. Every dish felt thoughtful and refined. The drinks were also a highlight—generously poured and perfectly mixed, which is rare to find! What really sets La Lucciola apart is the service. The staff took such amazing care of us, warm and professional from start to finish. I’ve rarely felt so well looked after in a restaurant.

Had a very nice dinner here, main course was delicious, dessert needs a bit of improvement. The view/sunset is beautiful. Recommended to book in advance for a great table. Ours was not at the very front as we just walked in but still had an amazing experience.
