La Madegra Seasuite

This is as good as the location in Salerno can get. And that is the value for this place. Ferry terminal is right across from it. The train station is very close. The shopping street is right behind it. Plenty of parking available around even though very very expensive. I suggest you ask for parking from the staff in the cafe. They have a private parking available at a more reasonable price. This information was not communicated ahead of time so I found out after I parked in the expensive lot adjacent to the establishment. The problem here is that it rates itself as a 4-star. While the location is great and the staff (working in the cafe below and handling the check-in) were nice enough, the hotel is very basic and defiantly not a 4-star. I believe if the management correctly rate it as a 3-star. The expectations would be set correctly and the reviews would be more positive. That said, the staff that we encountered when we checked in at night, were very nice and accommodating. One carried our luggage up and explained everything in the room. Same experience at breakfast. I did not encounter the negative experiences some of the reviewers here had mentioned. They also provided daily maid service that even refilled the mini-fridges with complementary water.|As far as negatives, While the room itself was pretty clean and modernly decorated, the bathrooms were very dirty. There were so much mold and water-deposit built-up in the shower stalls that it was as if they were not cleaned for years. The secondary shower had so much mildew that the floor corners had turned into yellowish color. My kids refused to take shower there.

Good location. 1) No baggage deposit after check out. 2) No sea view, May 2025, the building under construction, there is construction view. 3) Breakfast have only a cup of coffee + a croissant.

Fantastic B&B! Great location near the train and ferry. The staff were friendly and the breakfast at the cafe below was a perfect start to our day.

Awesome location. Check in/out was a breeze and free sweet treats and coffee for the 5min walk to the train station was a bonus. I don't want to run the surprise, but the shower is pretty neat, too

A moderate hotel. Convenient location for.a 1-2 day.stay. tain.and.ferry within.a few minute walk. A cafe and street food.market are below the hotel. Can be a little.noisy but the view from our room priceless. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast served at the Cafe. The street food market is fantastic.

This hotel is in an awesome location. It is right on the water, so you have a great view and the ferry is right across the street . The train station is only 1 block away. It is close to everything but it is also quiet. You check in at the bakery downstairs, so it doesn't have a hotel desk nor a staff to check you in/out or to assist you with questions. However, the manager, Ciro, is extremely efficient and kind in dealing with any issues. The rooms are clean and there is good security with a locked door to the building and another locked door leading to the rooms. We spent 5 days here and loved it.

The location of the Madegra Sea Suites is fantastic. Right across from the water and the ferries which take you up the Amalfi Coast, as well as only one block from the Salerno train station. The main shopping strip is only around the corner and offers modern shops, bars, cafes and places to eat. The old town is not far from foot to explore. ||The suites themselves are very clean and comfortable with modern conveniences including tea and coffee making facilities (rare in Italian accommodations), safe, and bar fridge. ||We booked a family room which was actually a double room and single room opened up to accommodation the four of us, which meant the kids had their own space and bathroom. The rooms are immaculately presented, with firm but comfortable beds. ||Breakfast is downstairs at the cafe (which is also where you check in) and is a simple pastry from their selection, juice and coffee. Not super great, but enough to start the day. ||The service is okay, some friendlier than others, but was fine. ||My only negative would be that the location is noisy well into the night. If you are a light sleeper, I suggest taking earplugs or similar. Many nights they had live music (either a soloist or DJ) below and the noise is quite loud. The traffic is also noisy being a busy thoroughfare along the water. ||Apart from that I highly recommend The Madegra Suites as a great place to stay in Salerno.

Friendly staff, great location, amazing Cafe. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a wonderful Cafe beside it that we got free coffee at in the morning. Perfect location between the Ferry and Train Station. Great value!
