Right in the heart of Orvieto! La Magnolia is a gem, charmingly decorated in a historical building with modern appliances. Our suite was very spacious, clean, quiet, comfy, easy to find! Serena is very gracious & it was a delight to see a black cat as their mascot. You can see the care & dedication she puts into this space. We so wish we had stayed longer & we would definitely book here again!

Our stay in La Magnolia was great! Our proprietor Serena was charming, funny & a great host and made you feel at home. If you love cats this is your place, one of her cats Nero snuck in through our window and slept with us which was too funny! Location is perfect and price is right. We stayed on the top floor so the stairs were a little steep but the pros of stayed here outweighed all that. Overall a charming lovely place to stay and we will be back!

Upon arrival we got a shock to see the steep flight of stairs and the dark entrance hall. There was no mention of that anywhere. Katerina did help us up with the (light) luggage but we still had to negotiate the steep stairs a few times. The place is dark and creepy smelling of some sort of air freshener or incense, and took some time to get used to. However, the room was very comfortable and looked clean.||Breakfast is in their cafe downstairs, with beggars/peddlers walking in and out and harassing us. Nothing to commend.||Immediately upon arrival I informed Serena that we wished to cancel the second night, which is perfectly legitimate and in keeping with the terms offered by Booking.com. She washed her hands of the affair and said only Booking.com can help there. The problem is that Booking.com had charged our card a few days before and they are no where to be found either. So that's goodbye to the 108 euro for that night. Be warned, don't ever let Booking.com charge your card. If you are not allowed to pay at the accommodation, don't book it.||Personally, I think the place is way over rated. |I found on this trip to Italy that a number of places are highly over rated and I wonder how come. Are guests swayed by the extreme sweetness of the proprietor or are the posts recruited/

LaMagnolia is in an excellent location in Orvieto, easy walking to all parts of the town. There are steep stairs in this older building, but very manageable if one is comfortable with stairs. Rooms are well appointed and spacious. Serena is a gracious host who provided ample information about the town.

We are finishing up our stay at La Magnolia in the centre of Orvieto.Serena has been|An excellent host. Our room was ready as soon as we arrived with keys in the door and ready to go. Serena was always very helpful and responded to questions quickly. Rooms are very clean. We had a small kitchen and eating area with plates and utensils. Restaurants, bars, groceries are all at your doorstep. The travel information office is directly in front of the duomo so it’s very easy if you have any questions. Breakfast was excellent at the bar directly attached to the building where the rooms are. Orvieto is a lovely place to visit.

We just had a lovely visit to Orvieto and stayed at this fabulous B & B. It’s in a perfect location for touring Orvieto. So many places to eat at your doorstep. It is very clean and breakfast downstairs at the bar was great with excellent selection of breakfast sweets, meats, fruit and coffee. Would stay again.

This is a wonderful establishment just a few steps from the Duomo piazza in the charming medieval town of Orvieto. This was our favorite place that we stayed on our whole 12 day trip!||There are B&B rooms that come with breakfast, and at least one apartment that doesn’t but they offer a discount at the cafe next door. We stayed in a spacious apartment with a partial town view from the large balcony. Only one night but we wish we could have stayed longer and would next time! ||Third floor walk up unit, but hey you can work off your pasta and gelato climbing the stairs! Fully equipped kitchen, although make sure to bring your own coffee or tea! Wonderfully updated large modern bathroom up a small flight of stairs, and we loved the large shower and decor!||Large living room. Three dining areas including living area, kitchen and the balcony table too. Perfect if you need a little workspace, and decent WiFi. Good sized bedroom with comfortable double bed and armoire for storage.||The host/proprietor Serena was lovely, great communication and it was a very reasonable price for such an amazing room. Just sorry we were not able to stay longer. Would use Orvieto as a home base next time instead of Florence, in part because of this terrific lodging option!

We had booked to stay three nights at B&B La Magnolia in September but Serena contacted us the day before our arrival that we could not since she had a guest there who was very sick with Covid. She very graciously took it upon herself to find other accommodations for us during our stay in Orvieto. She worked out all of the details and were in constant communication with us while we were in Orvieto. Thank you so much, Serena!
