After staying there for a few days we only asked ourselves why it has not more stars. It is an oasis of calm and friendliness. One can almost breath the tradition of the hotel as a colony de vacances, but it smells rather well. It has a very nice piscine and a rather nice entrance. The rooms are spacy and well decorated. The breakfast is rather attractive and the service is pretty friendly.

We spent 4 days at la maison de la prade. We loved the spot at the edge of the village, located in a pine forest and its proximity to the beach. The hotel is great for families, we had a large room for the 4 of us with a separate sleeping area for the children. The hotel provides generous breakfasts but doesn't have a restaurant, although they offer nice tapas and a good selection of local wines. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and a great cafe at the top of the dune by the beach about 1km away. This is a great break for families with lots of activities, tree walking, surf, horse rides, sailing etc.

We spent 3 nights here at this small beautiful hotels. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Very well located, peaceful and very zen. The hotel is spotless and the breakfast is wonderful. It is located about 1.5 KM's from the beach which is miles long. It's also close to lots of restaurants. Staff are very nice and always helpful.

This a beautiful hidden gem in Messages. The room was very comfortable. I was the only person during my 3 day stay (pre-beach season), so it was very quiet. The staff was delightful and the breakfast (additional cost) was amazing. It was a short walk to eateries and a short drive to the beach.

Such a peaceful little haven. Clean and comfortable and so zen that even the toilet flush was balanced ☯️. Close to the stunning and dramatic coast and in amongst the magical woodlands ✨ The beach is a surfers paradise and only a 15 walk down the road. We enjoyed a beer or three and a salad at an awesome snack bar that overlooked the sea.

This is a great hotel as most reviews describe, the rooms, the pool, the staff, all really nice. It's clean and very well managed also. We were a bit concerned about not having air conditioning in the room, but the cool nightly seabreeze took care of that. ||La Maison de la Prade really stands out in Messanges and the area around it. Actually you may argue that maybe it's too good for Messanges. The town is rather basic and does not have a lot of charm. If you go here please bring a car and/or bikes to explore the area. Or just stay at La Maison and enjoy this great place.

Really charming 3 star hotel. |Rooms aren't huge but nicely done, very friendly staff, good quality continental breakfast and a 15-20 minute walk to the beach. Lovely pool area too. We visited in June so it was quiet and the weather was pretty good. A 2 minute walk from the village which is small but with a good bar for food.

This brand new establishment was renovated from an old children's camp. The rooms and grounds are modern and impeccable, the welcome warm. Messages is 40 minutes away from Biarritz, 20 from Hossegor and perfect nature setting. All accessible from this lovely place where you can vacation in calm.
