I really like this place. The admin team (Nicholas) is fantastic and amicable. Situated within a very short walking distance to the main town. The rooms will have the basic needs to stay over night to get a good night sleep as well as a hot shower. Highly recommended

I loved this little Hostel. Very central to the great old Town Centre, spent 2 full days walking around looking at all the beautiful buildings, so this place was a great location to return to and the kitchen facilities were top notch (for a hostel). It made this so simple, grab some delicious local food, and head back to hostel to cook it up. The hostel is in a restored mansion, which has a nice small park like grounds, where you can sit out in the sun and relax in relative quiet. Top Notch, would recommend this place to anyone.

La Maison des Randonneurs is an excellent place to stay on your own - as I was - or with friends or families. The staff were very helpful - also with different tourist attractions. Thank you so much Laurent, for your kindness. The facilities (rooms, baths, toilets, kitchen etc.) were great too. Simple and great breakfast, free we-fi, a big kitchen to make dinner and situated almost in the center. Auxerre is a really beautiful city with the canal - you have to visit!||Julie - danish.

I organised a school trip in Auxerre, it was perfect to have my group all in the same place. The location is amazing, the house lovely. Breakfast was delicious and staff extremely nice and helpful. The common room makes it a great place to just relax and talk to the other people staying there.

We have been there for 1 night during august 08 on the road from Bretagne to Italy. We have reserved a room for our family (2 adults, 1 kid 5 y.o. and a baby 18 months) and they ave us also the baby cot (free).||This little hostel is right in the center of the city of Auxerre; you can easy reach walking every restaurant or bar or church in the town. The hostel is in a public park, closed from 19 p.m (they give you a code for the park gate and another for the house door).||There is a kitchen available for guests but you can reserve also the breakfast (5 euros for person).||There is place to rest inside and the little park outside.||The night we stayed there we were almost the only guests. They also rent bycicle to explore the town and the area (bourgogne).||We liked the place very much and we will stop there again in our next traver trough france.

Fine place to meet other hikers and pilgrims. Good start or finish of a hike of some weeks. Good place for a day of rest and sightseeing. Moderate rates and possibility to acquire topo maps and guides. No food, but use of kitchen permitted. Restaurants around - you are in the city centre.

Not what I expected but great. A bit basic for me, more like a youth hostal. Great location. Very dog friendly. Just a touch spartan. No lock on my door.
