La Maison du Moulin des Roches

Of all the hotels on our 3-week French trip, it was by far our favorite! A beautiful renovated maison, comfy and very well equipped rooms, nature and silence around, while the center of Chablis is just an easy walk away or a couple minutes by car. Smooth reservation and easy communication with Thierry. He met us on the arrival day and gave all the necessary information. In the morning, Anne made us an incredible breakfast with the best croissants. We still regret that we could not eat everything offered! Overall we enjoyed our stay here very much and highly recommend this maison for stopping in Chablis!

We loved Moulin des Roches. It was charming, beautiful and Thierry is a wonderful host - was able to provide us with recommendations for wineries, restaurants, etc.. We stayed for 4 nights and can't wait to go back. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and had a terrific, modern bathroom. Our second floor room had a view of the beautiful Chablis countryside. The location was perfect - just on the outskirts of town. A pleasant 10 minute walk. Plenty of parking too and a nice outside terrace. Breakfast was included and was amazing - the chocolate croissants were exceptional! We definitely want to go back!

We have recently returned from a trip to Chablis where we stayed at "La Maison du Moulin des roches"||Our host and Owner Thierry was very welcoming and helped us with any questions we had about the area and he also made restaurant reservations for us, his breakfasts were delicious.||The accommodation was superb, located in rural Chablis a very short drive to the town centre or approximately a 20 minute walk. ||We highly recommend staying at 'La Maison du Moulin des roches" while visiting Chablis or as a stopover on a French road trip.||Many thanks Thierry for a great stay.|Christine & David

What can I say about this fabulous B & B. The first thing is that our stay of 2 nights was not long enough. Set in the wonderful countryside in Chablis is this charming house. Our room was on the top floor giving us spectacular views over the countryside. A very big room and very big bathroom. The bed is possibly the most comfortable bed I have slept in. The breakfast provided is fresh and very good quality. Thierry was welcoming and friendly and very helpful answering all our questions. We will definitely be coming back as soon as we can. Thank you for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Our first visit was in January and we enjoyed Thierry's hospitality. But our second visit was even better. Thierry again looked after us very well, with a delicious breakfast and great fruit salad. But this time the weather was gorgeous and we sat outside watching the stars drinking wonderful Chablis. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom. We have stayed in a number of hotels in Chablis and would now always come back here if we can.

Super hospitable owners. Definitely a must if you want to discover the region of Chablis. This stay gives you peace and warmth. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms. Every morning a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit etc.. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED

We were welcomed superbly and the room was very spacious, impeccably decorated and spotless (as was the huge ensuite bathroom). We stayed for three nights and enjoyed breakfast as well, prepared and served with much finesse. We also appreciated Thierry's suggestions for exploring the region.||||While the guest house is immaculately kept inside, the grounds need a lot of work. I wish I could come and stay for a month, just to weed and plant! The property has a lot of potential but sadly has not had the attention is deserves.||||When we were departing quite early, Thierry accommodated us with a light breakfast and was very kind to help us by printing off an emailed document we needed (despite some difficulty with its formatting). I would recommend La Maison du Moulin des Roches without hesitation.

The property is amazing! Gorgeous grounds with horses living in a huge pasture across from the house. Stunning views from all rooms in the house. Thierry is a superb host who assisted us with getting a special tour of Grand Cru vineyards. Can’t say enough, we should have stayed longer! Thank you Thierry!
