If you are looking for true authentic Japanese food, this is not the place to go. The restaurant offers excellent French Japanese fusion food, consisting mainly of tapas dishes. For example, try the foie gras over an omelette. As it is name indicates, the sake choice is extensive and delicious. The decor is modern and minimalist. Overall, a good restaurant.

We only went for a drink but the atmosphere was very pleasant and the Japanese tapas available were quite good and complimented well our drinks. The waitress was also quite knowledgeable and offered to help us pick a drink based on our tastes.

Hard to believe, but the only disappointing dish was the sashimi. Highly recommended the foiegras gyoza.

Superb Sake and service. Amazing food prepared fresh. The pate and fish were out of this world. Service was extremely knowledgeable, fast, and friendly. Sake was by the glass and delicious. Our waitress helped us every step of the way at the bar.

Great place where you can buy a wide range of sake and whiskies, with package of small differents bottles if you want to try different taste. Feel free to ask questions to sellers that know well their products. Tasting organized on site. Bar downstairs.

Only contraries are price and slow service. Interesting selection of sakes, not easy to find in France. Really tasty and fresh tapas. Nice explanation of the differences in sakes from the bartender. Nice deco.

Yelp
What a gem! I stumbled upon La Maison du Sake randomly while walking in the area with my mom. I was sorely missing Japanese food while in Paris while my mom wanted to keep things French in terms of dining. I love both cuisines, so La Maison du Sake - a fusion of French and Japanese - was the perfect choice. The ambiance is wonderful - you walk past glowing shelves of sake bottles in their sake bar to the restaurant half of the building, which houses a large bonsai tree and beautiful modern skylights. But the food is the real winner - everything we tried was absolutely amazing. The duck was the best I've ever had (truly), and we especially enjoyed the roasted potatoes with duck sauce, the chicken croquettes, the roasted octopus, and the tempura. Despite a hefty language barrier making ordering a bit of a challenge, the staff was very sweet and accommodating. On top of everything, the price is very reasonable. If you love great fusion (which is hard to come by!), definitely make a trek here. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Paris!
